When works with the team for intake, they were very upfront about pricing, added costs, helping cover hotel costs for the move and so forth. I have been a little less pleased with the actual medical team. They have told me many different things, sent my gma to the ER without consent of POA, have been late on scoring her, and we have literally had billing issues EVERY month since placing. So that's been SUPER frustrating! Overall the place is clean and they do a good job of having lots of activities for the residents.

The staff members are kind and the meals are good. My sister had a bad experience where housekeeping staff let someone in her apartment without her permission.

If I had to do it all over again, I would go a different route. My father in law was a high maintenance resident, Spring Valley was not a good fit for his medical concerns. The staff was nice but they needed more employees.. the room was clean. The food was great but the attention that was needed was neglectful with the care we were paying for.

The majority of the staff was caring, but the management did not always ensure the quality and regularity of care was as consistent as they should be. I would recommend Regency Park.

Old dated facility. High vacancy presently. Residents not very engaging. Lunch was excellent. Monthly room cost very competitive. Only one two-bedroom unit in the facility.

This facility had pros and cons. It's smaller and more personal. A few less amenities. But honestly at all the facilities that we toured I didn't really see many people doing many activities. We ended up picking this facility because it felt most like home.

My loved one really likes her daily care staff. I've had terrible interactions with the executive director. I refuse to interact with her. Unprofessional, deceitful and downright lack of regard for care environment and issues resident and families are dealing with at this stage of life. And she's just mean.

The overall environment is nice with outdoor areas, TV viewing rooms, libraries and courtyards. Most of the staff is friendly although a few of the caregivers have said a few questionable things. Don't care for how the staff is not good about getting [name removed] up and out of bed at a consistent time. I visited her one day and she was still in bed at 10:30 am when she's supposed to get up around 8 am. This was not an isolated incident and I've complained to them about this. I think this is still going on. Despite what in my view is a premium cost, they keep asking me to buy supplies (gloves and trash bags) which they go through very quickly. I expect better from a facility like this.

We took mom out of [removed] because of costs so Arbor Village was the right price. Once at Arbor I think the food is decent, always warm or hot, where [removed] had a problem with that, normally lukewarm. Mom was assigned a room that I understood would have wheelchair access to the shower and after moving in was told that was not true. There was a threshold and was told that it could be removed...no it's all one piece. I'm hoping she's given a new room soon with no threshold. It's taken a while to get the caregivers on board with mom's hoyer lift. They have complained it's old and hard to pump. Well the wound nurse corrected that assumption by calling the facility where we purchased it. We were told it's a 2025 model. They wanted an electric hoyer, but insurance does not cover the cost and nothings wrong with what we purchased while at [removed]. The caregivers there had no problems. The caregivers show more enthusiasm now, after complaining, than when mom first moved in. I look for caregivers that actually care and that's hard to find, the ones that go beyond just the basics. Arbor Village uses their caregivers to also serve lunch. Once I was visiting and noticed mom's pants wet ( wears diapers) and we looked for help to change her, but was told no one was available because they were serving lunch, but they offered to bring lunch to mom even though she'd have to remain in the wet diaper until lunch was over. I complained and I hope things have changed. Mom had mentioned that her button,she wears around her neck, is worthless. Most times she goes to the nurses station to look for caregiver assistance.

The staff is good but the food could be much better. Room is fine, could be updated some, everything is old in her apartment.

This facility could be great for some people, it just was not the right fit for my mom. The facility is small, so if your senior is very social and active there is not enough to do there. The bus was broken for the 6 months mom was there so they never went places. I would recommend Magnolia Grand for quiet people who do not need a lot of activity. Staff was very nice!

The staff were friendly. However his room wasn't kept clean, he wore the same clothes 3-4 days in a row. Although telling me his laundry was done, it was not. The chart said it had been washed but the full hamper told a different story. All of his electronics went missing and I had to replace two of the items. 2-3 weeks later I received a call that these things had been found. It seemed best to Find a more suitable arrangement.

As the facility would not make allowances for some dietary needs and had a fixed menu each week. I found that I could not utilize the dining facilities and was preparing my meals in my room. As a result of the Dietary problems and no allowances for not being able to utilize or consume most of the meals in the facility I would rate the Value for myself at at 2 or less. The Staff was very good. Even the administrator was nice. Had they made any allowance/accommodation for my dietary situation, I might still reside there.

The facility was well maintained. The staff was great. Upper management needs to be more engaged with residents. Food needs to be greatly improved.

The maintenance workers are working constantly to maintain the yards and are prompt to repair any problems. The kitchen staff are friendly and helpful. It would help if they had a map of all of the Cascade facilities. My cottage neighbors and inhabitants of the assisted living facility are very friendly and seem to care for one another. The food is not very good. I have noticed people leave a lot of food on their plate

1. Day shift was nice and always willing to help but night shift was mean and didn't want to ever help 2. Was actually really clean. 3. Friendly guests staff was half and half. 4. It was self sufficient independent so no care was given. 5. Admin staff was great. 6. Food wasn't that good. 7. Lots of activities. 8. Value was average when compared to others including services and friendlyness.

A couple things that stood out were - the food, she didn't like it. The staff is trying hard to make her feel welcome. We understand they are short on help.

Food is poor and very slow in getting it to you. Head nurse does not follow thru on things, and does not communicate well.

They can improve on the food they serve. They can improve on training and how to handle soiled clothing properly. They can improve on making it less of a hassle to set up a toilet area so it's easier for the resident to use and not soil his clothes every time because of the set up they have right now. I like that we get the door code :) I like how nice it is in there and the heated pool has been a plus for my grandpa when we can get him in it . Most staff are friendly, they could be more helpful with getting residents out of chairs especially the ones who already have a hard time standing up on their own especially in more difficult chairs (dining room chairs)

Very expensive.. care givers are great ... weekend staff is very inconsistent and lacks quality. Rooms are good size but they charge more the bigger the room. Also they charge extra for care levels, med management and everything they possibly can... my mom is only still there because moving her somewhere else will be confusing and stressful for her... I'm always looking for something less expensive with all amenities included.. it's a huge corporation that does not truly care about their clients ... they only care about making money.
