You are able to participate or not participate as much as you want. I love not having to cook or clean house any longer. I especially appreciate the people are friendly and compassionate. I am happy!

Have only here a short time. Moving from a house to here and the lose of my husband has been very hard. The people are very kind and helpful

Apartments are rented knowing the individual does not qualify for Independent Living. 1. Extreme Dementia 2. Extreme physical issues.

I enjoy it here. Staff is friendly and helpful. When one is down, people pick you up. People are friendly. Sometimes food is too good - I am getting fat. I would like more trips out in real world, not just Walmart.

My experience with the staff has been wonderful! They are willing to help in any way. If they don't have the answer they will find the answer and get back to me.

They do their best to make the residents comfortable and feel like they are at home. There is some evidence that staffing may be a little short. And they seem to be short on operating funds. Overall I would recommend Village on the Park at Steeplechase to others looking.

The person we were talking to was very sweet, helpful, and responsive. They went out of their way to give us a good viewpoint of what it was like there. We chose another facility for the food and the fact that they offered a garage.

I have resided at The VOP for a little over a year. The activities directors are outstanding and make our activities lots of fun. Most of the outings and restaurants are good choices. My housekeeper is excellent. The dining room food needs to be improved.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought it was a really nice community overall, but the location played a factor into our decision making.

They have good food and lots of activities. I don't have a lot of interaction with the staff, but what interactions I have had have been okay. My loved one tends to refuse their help sometimes, but they provide good care as much as she'll allow them to.

I would tell them to call around first to see what facility fits their needs and get on the waiting list if possible. The facility itself is amazing and the activities are awesome. However, I think they should change how you have to enter/leave the memory care and they need to improve the dining to run more smoothly.

After living in an assisted living place & my wife passing, I needed to move to an independent living apartment. After visiting 4 different places, I chose VOP because their program fit my needs & I have not been disappointed. I am pleased to be here.

It is a good facility for the money, but they seem to be short staffed which makes it hard for everybody need to be met. No fault of the persons here, they are all great and super friendly, but they could use more of them. The facility is very clean, but her room is not cleaned as it should be. My loved one is in memory care and there are no activities that they say that they have - that has been one of the biggest disappointments. It is a new facility and all of the rooms are nice, private rooms. Overall I would recommend them to others, especially for the area.

Our loved one is safe being at Stoney Brooke and it looked after 24/7. Based on our experience so far with this community we would recommend them to other families.

I would look into this community for your loved one because it is a good value for the price compared to other communities I have seen. This community seems to be pretty well run from what I have seen. They are currently under a management change and there have been some bumps in the road with these adjustments but other than that things are good.
