Great residents and wait staff… and the food is pretty good, I’m generally always full, ice cream, activities, definitely worth high price. Do the math. I did and it comes out in their favor… Felt like home the minute I moved in. People are absolutely precious here.

I like the size of the living space and the common areas are nice. The staff is responsive to concerns of the residents and their families.

I found that aids and med techs are always changing - only a few are there consistently. My mom's only been there 2 months, so we're still learning roles of people.

Great staff! They were easy to work with. I would recommend to others.

It was an adjustment for her as her husband had passed and she wasn't able to stay in her home alone. She is 94. She finally started getting involved in activities and has made her apartment her own. Everyone is so nice there. Food is not always great.

VOP is a nice community,however it is a bit more expensive than other facilities. I was disappointed in VOPs response to Hurricane in 2024 because I was told there would be generators, an emergency alert system and safety lights. None existed. Staff was great from the front desk to housekeeping. Dining hall could use improvement as the quality of the food was lacking. The quality of the food was lacking and the salad bar wasn't always clean. Overall, the experience was good.

What we like the most about the community is that it has nice apartments and I feel safe leaving her there. Yes, we would recommend Carriage Inn at Katy to other families based on the experience so far.

They are friendly and cooperative. They seem to care. They could have a better variety of food at meals. Also could improve nutritional value. I am sure it is okay but seems bland and limited.

The residents are very friendly in side and cottage residents. Weekly happy hour events include live entertainment and snacks in the ice cream parlor. The variety is enjoyable and fun. The elected residence officers work to improve concerns that come up at the monthly meetings. Holiday events for resident family and friends are well organized and give residents the opportunity to socialize together.

Overall it has been a good experience. The food is not as good as we had hoped it would be and the options are limited. The staff is amazing and very loving and helpful.

My parents have felt very comfortable there. It's been a good transition for them.

The staff at Village on the Park at Oklahoma City are great! I am a builder in construction and the facility is just average for the price to live there. It definitely needs some upgrades, etc.

I like the place but the company that owns the place is "cutting back" on things and I am WORRIED that they may not keep the place going.

I am basing this rating on what my aunt has said. She is in Independent Living, and says that in her opinion, works orders take a while to get completed. There was a period of time that the food was not that great, but she believes it is getting better. Housekeeping does a fairly good job, but could be better. So, her overall experience has not been great, but I believe that they do their best and she is a complainer and never happy. Just a big change for her after owning her own home.

I believe that the staff at Carriage Inn make sure the patient's needs are being met. They seem to be genuinely concerned about the residents' happiness and keep an agenda of activities to stimulate and bring them together so they have a sense of community. I believe in general that the staff and facilities are doing everything they can to make living there a pleasant experience for residents that are in the latter years of life.

Carriage Inn is a wonderful facility. It is very clean and has great amenities. The only concerm I have is with the person running the facility. They can be rude and impatient at times and not very accommodating. Aside from that I would not have any problem recommending this place. It is a wonderful place for senior living at a very good price.

The management staff has been together a long time 5-10 years in some cases. Their teamwork and commitment shows in their presentation and product. I would without a question recommend Village on the Park at Friendswood to anybody who is looking.

I chose that place place because I had 3 or 4 relatives/friends whose parents/grandparents were there. I highly recommend their independent living but the assisted living I'm not so sure about & I have no experience with the memory care side. My mother was in assisted living. She is no longer there as she lives with me now. When she moved in, it was a month to month, but after 1 year, the fee was being raised $[removed] & required a lease. I bought a house that would accommodate most handicap necessities & we both moved in there. I hired a caregiver. Everything is going well at considerable less cost. Highly recommend for independent living. Food is great & lots of activities & social events that include families.

I'm very impressed, and would recommend it. My mother is very happy there.

Overall I would recommend this place. They have very nice rooms, a clean facility, and the head staff are all very solid and seem to care. The food is really good. Some of the nurses are through agencies and they can vary in their work ethic but that is probably everywhere. They seem to be a little short staffed especially on weekends, but again I have a feeling this is universal. Overall I am very happy with our decision to move my mom here.
