My husband and I moved in the last part of April. It was a difficult decision to leave our home of 40+ years. It has been the best decision we ever made. The facility is clean and refreshing. The staff is always pleasant and very helpful. The staff is remarkable. They clean your rooms and remove and trash daily. They do your laundry twice a week and vacumn weekly. Most of the time you don't even know it is done until they are thru. The meal planning is done by and excellent chef and he offers a large variety of choices for each meal. He also offers sugar free desserts. The activity director keeps us as busy as we want to be. There is always something going on. However if you don't want to participate you can just watch or not get involved. They post a monthly calendar of events and also a daily post in the Bistro area for review of the days events. If the director knows we are interested in a particular event she will come to our room and remind us. We say this facility is like being on an extended cruise that never leaves port. it is truly our home now.

Warm,friendly,lovely,a happy place. Activities are varied and well attended but privacy is respected when you don't want company.

Love this place for my Dad. Old people just seem to find something to grumble about no matter where they live. The big complaint here though is legitimate, cold food! The food may be good but when it's cold YUCK! It doesn't matter who you talk to they seem to think they have to live with it since they have complained but it hasn't changed. When you pay almost $3,000.00 to live somewhere it is not unreasonable to expect hot food. The people and staff are so friendly and the grounds and common areas so beautiful. The holiday decorations from fall on were wonderful. There are so many activities, there is always something to choose to participate in. If they fix the food issue and once the hallway lights are upgraded, which is on the agenda, this place will be even better!

The staff here is great. The apartments are nice and have lots of amenities. Anytime something needs to be fixed, maintenance comes right out and gets it taken care of. Overall, Village on the Park has been great.

This is a great place with a wonderful staff. The facility itself has a warm comforting atmosphere and the residents seem so happy to be there. Great place.

I checked out several facilities before choosing the Carriage Inn in Bryan, Texas. I could hardly believe the friendly, caring staff I met there. The apartments are bigger than I expected. My partner and I had two meals there to check out the food and found the food was tasty and well prepared. Our loved one required available travel service to her church and they accommodated her in this regard. She seems to be extremely happy there as she is a true "people person" and likes lots of things going on. They have activities every day if she wants to participate. I would gladly recommend this home for anyone's love one.

My father spent a short time at Village on the Park Oklahoma City, OK but during the time he was there we felt like we entrusted him to family. There was loving care given at all times. My father was able to gain weight, continued to gain strength and was happy and comfortable.

It's a very clean facility. The staff are pretty friendly, though I'm not sure they have enough staff. They are pretty observant and proactive with the care, offering the therapy that will help, and it is. The food is terrible, when they put the food down it looks like they are feeding a small dog, the portions are small. There is no imagination there, but they just got a new chef, so perhaps it will improve. I liked the size of the community, it's not too big. You look out over ranch lands and it's beautiful.

All the staff there at Carriage Inn at Bryan is very helpful, friendly, courteous, and kind. They are very outgoing, know everybody name, and greet everybody all the time. They seem to work hard at being cheerful, and succeed at it. I have eaten there once, just before Thanksgiving, and the food was excellent.

We truly love having our parents at Carriage Inn. The residents and staff are all loving and warm and make you feel like a part of the community from day one! Even our children and grandchildren love going to visit them at Carriage Inn. The staff has gone out of it's way to make sure all of our needs are met.

Carriage Inn is a beautiful facility with friendly professional staffing. My mom is happy to be living there. Her apartment is spacious, clean and opens to a patio and court yard. The cafeteria serves great food in a wonderful setting, and the staff is superior.

My in-laws moved into The Carriage Inn about 2 weeks ago. They left their single-family home of 32 years to move into a one-bedroom apartment at The Carriage Inn. They are still in the adjustment period but find the place classy, clean and bright. For the most part, they find the meals delicious with few exceptions. They find everyone there both staff and residents to be very friendly and inclusive. They are easing into some of the activities offered at The Carriage Inn. Fridays are the best! After lunch there is an ice cream social followed by Happy Hour and live entertainment.

Everyone I've worked with here has been very friendly and helpful, and the facility is well maintained. The rooms themselves are also quite nice. The only small issue I've seen is sometimes they are not overly aggressive when it comes to small cleaning details in the rooms, like dusting. However, they're very responsive and will happy take care of any issue you're having immediately!

They were super super nice. The cottages were great. It really depends on what you need and what you're looking for. I thought this was a really really good facility. They had a mixture of people which was good an they are pet friendly.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Apartments are a generous size. Many great amenities offered for the residents to take advantage of.

The resident is enjoying activities. We have had some hiccups with the medical supervision. We hope things get better soon.

We had a few issues with their required Pharmacy services however, all in all the staff is kind and caring and it is a very nice environment. I would recommend it to others.

Staff were very professional and did well maintaining good communication with the resident's primary point of contact. However the facility is not suited for residents who reside in memory care and are diabetic. They are unable to perform daily blood sugar tests and must use home health care to do so. Home health will not test everyday. Also facility medical staff are unable to administer insulin as well.

Accommodations are nice. Staff is ok. Food quality and service could use improvement. They will only deliver food to the room at the end of cafeteria service and it's hit or miss that you will get what you ordered. Kitchen is small in unit - not ample counter space.

It has been good. There has been some turnover in the office area that has slowed some things in the transition process.
