Brookdale

The staff has been very accommodating to the needs of my aunt. The staff has also been easy for me to communicate with.

My wife and I were researching elder care for her sister who was suffering from dementia. We visited 6 locations each had their plusses. We had narrowed our choice to 2 locations and chose Brookdale Dublin due to: 1. Care offered specific to my sister in-law’s needs and small enough for personal care 2. Brookdale stood out by [name removed] l was our initial contact and we were impressed with her understanding and ability to help us with all of our questions as we have never been through this process before. She was thorough and followed up This made our movement of my sister in-law less traumatic 3. We worked with [name removed], the director, as well He was warm and always had time for us. He also has promptly prepared insurance paperwork. The insurance company commented the thoroughness of his timely paperwork submitted Unfortunately, he has moved on to another job 4. [name removed] was very patient with the difficult process of getting my sister in-law into the home. 5. The staff is very attentive and promptly reacts to needs 6. Finally, the dining services manager [name removed] is a prize to this facility My first experience was the apple pie she gave us on our initial visit. It was delicious ! Her meals follow that as well. Unfortunately my sister in law passed away in January

It is private pay. But the money was worth it. My husband had been in and out of many place. But on Medicare insurance beds. This was our first private pay. He died almost 3 weeks from being admitted. Getting back our money just took a few days, getting the unused month and our down payment. Compared to when my mother was in a facility it took months to get the unused money back. I had to put in a formal complaint Into LARA. If people are able to go private pay I would highly recommend it.

Everything besides food and value are 5's. Food and value 4. My Dad is at the highest level and it's really expensive. It's not fancy but the people are really helpful. It stays clean and doesn't smell. Yes I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

My mom lived at Brookdale Sevierville for over three years prior to her passing in [year removed]. Although hesitant at first - at age 82 who isn’t resistant to change - mom soon learned to like her room, her neighbors, the staff and I could once again be the son instead of all the other roles that I was assuming The field trips and the food were often highlighted during our visits. Moms and my relationship with Brookdale changed during the last several months of her life. The care and compassion- both medically and socially - adapted to our needs. What a comfort they provided. And comfort and peace are great assets to have. Brookdale Sevierville provided both.

The main thing is that my mom likes it. She loves the food, says the staff and guests are friendly, her room is just right, the social activities are a big hit, and it's bright and airy. Not depressing. From my perspective, the administrative part has been straightforward. Expectations were set appropriately so we're getting exactly what we expected.

What stood out the most is that hey really care about providing the highest level of assistance to their residents.

Get clear instructions on how laundry is handled, who has the get it together and who has to put it away once returned. Also, determine who has to change bedding, when, and how many sets of sheets and blankets are recommended. Overall, I would have to say that this facility was better than the other facilities I visited. Felt staff were more involved with the residents

Very pretty inside and out, good food, 3 meals included, laundry service, housekeeping, local to UCI. Trader Joe's, Target, CVS across street with restaurants. Assisted Living or Independent. Many activities: poetry club, philosophy club, creative writing. We have gym. Daily activities. Many outings, Shuttle Bus, everyone is very helpful and nice. I am very happy here.

I rate them all a 5! She was well taken care of and they had activities that she enjoyed. The friendliness was superb. She had her favorites of course but they were all so helpful.

If you need assisted living this is the finest place to live.

Food is generally very good with a good variety of choices and wait staff very efficient at helping residents order both food to be eaten in dining room or to take back to room. Staff very friendly and helpful from management level to cleaning people. Community kept clean and tidy. Very nice library. Swimming pool great with very good organized pool exercise and activities. Nursing staff keep informed as to residents' changing medical status and needs and provide excellent assistance.

I give them a 5 because Exec. Dir.[name removed] and Sales Mgr. [name removed] work with you on any issues you may have. Staff are friendly and courteous as are the residents. I visit my sister in law at least 5x a week and she is happy there.

The facility is beautiful! The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make the families feel welcome when visiting their loved ones!

My mom was a challenging case for them since she had some behavioral issues. The staff worked with us and was transparent about the process. The move has been great for mom thanks to their approach with memory care residents. It has also been great for my family and I since we have the piece of mind that she is in a place that will have her best interests in mind at all times and can handle the challenges mom's behavior have caused in other aspects facilities in the past. I'm thankful that you guys recommended the location. My family and I were lost with what to do and you guys helped us navigate through it without losing our sanity!

Room sizes are larger than other places/ plenty of amenities offered for residents. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We recently toured Brookdale Durham, and from the first conversation, we felt genuinely welcomed. As a Jewish family, we were pleasantly surprised (and deeply appreciative) that they offer Shabbat services right on site. It’s not something we expected, but it really made us feel seen. The staff are kind and attentive, and there’s a calm, comfortable energy throughout the community. It’s clear they care about creating a space that respects different backgrounds and traditions. Brookdale feels like a place where our loved one can thrive—not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually too.
