Brookdale

I really have not been able to participate in the activities. For the value for cost is seems about similar to others in area. Everyone has been very welcoming. Names shared repeatedly so I have learned quite a few -- of residents and staff. Also, we heard complimentary comments from community residents. Some had relatives who spent time here. Others had heard of the facility in a positive manner.

Place was great. Very attentive and well staffed. Yes, we would recommend Brookdale Farmers Branch to other families.

The staff is wonderful. Very caring and consistent with great care from the cleaning person to the administration. I think portions are good maybe more choices. They are trying though, they have introduced 2 seating times so the waiting time to be served is shorter. Unfortunately the cost of everything affects the quality.

The staff is very accommodating and the facility is always clean. The room my dad has is super cute. They clean and to laundry. This facility meets our needs. They need to season the food. Very bland. The rolls are as hard as a rock. The only meal the my dad really likes is breakfast. He only goes down for dinner is to visit with his friends at the table.

It was truly a great tour with [name removed], [name removed], the Sales & Marketing Manager, representative at Brookdale! I’m looking forward to my possible future at Brookdale in Novi, Michigan. Thanks for the opportunity!

We love the decision that we made for Brookdale. My mother in law is very happy and she is safe. [name removed] is the best! The studio size is perfect for Nana and she loves all of the woodland around her.

Brookdale seems to be a great place based on the smiles on the residents. [name removed] gave a great tour and a lot of good information.

All a 5. They went out of their way to help and still do when needed. From [names removed] the exec team) down to the hourly team they show such kindness and compassion. They will keep in touch with me if concerns come up and handle things quickly. The facility is very clean and they clean the rooms weekly and in between if needed. All the departments do their jobs and you only hear good things when they are talking amongst themselves. They have a monthly calendar and many activities for all the residents. A resident even plays the piano after dinner. It is a smaller Facility which feels like family. I could go on. I go there quite often unannounced. And it is always the same - warm and welcoming feeling.

We have been very happy with Browns Creek and our family member is thriving quite well.

I have not visited my in-laws in over a month but I talk to her every day. She mostly comes across being very happy at Brookdale Charleston Gardens. She always says positive things about the staff. I don't know what more I can say other than my husband and I feel they made a wise decision to move there and we do not worry about their care. We live 12 hours from them thus the reason we could not give them help on a daily basis. We look forward to seeing them again in two weeks and hope we find things there was positive as when we last visited.

5 on all of them! The workers are great, the Cleanliness is awesome, care is great. Yes, they do have plenty of activities for the residents to participate in. My aunt enjoys the music when someone comes, the church service and bingo. She doesn't do the crafts.

[name removed] is a wonderful hostess and she made me feel very comfortable. The tour was very informative and I was very impressed with the facilities.

I would give Brookdale a 5 on all categories. We are very happy. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It's also more affordable than most places.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The residents were all trying to make my brother welcome. The food looked great. The rooms were very nice and the staff helped with his needs.

Beautiful facility. Like the a la carte approach; however the a la carte fees are what puts us over budget in affording Brookdale Cushing Park. Love the 'UN'scheduled model. [name removed] in Adminission was perfectly wonderful. Answered all our questions. Stayed in touch with me throughout inquiry/tour process. Never rushed me off the phone. Brookdale Cushing Park is just outside our budget. Wish there were a Brookdale Junior that eliminated the a la carte fees. Eliminate some of the 'upper'amenities and focus on daily resident care. Perhaps pare down menu choices to bring down your budget. There seems to be a Black Hole for moderate income families. Most facilities are just out of reach; lower cost nursing homes are, well, sadly just a little too institutional. Thank you for allowing me to comment on Brookdale Cushing Park.

We are looking for a new place for my parents. My mom has dementia but my dads has not been happy where they are now. So hopefully he will like Brookdale. We have another tour set up for Saturday so they can visit and see what they think.

When I visited Brookdale, everyone couldn't have been more outgoing and friendly. The residents are obviously a happy group of folks! [name removed], as family, was particularly welcome at all times - meals and social occasions while transitioning her brother to Brookdale and his new "buddies". Everyone expressed their fondness for her and showed their fondness for [name removed]. He loves it there and he was initially resistant because he did not want to let go of his dog and bird. The fact that Brookdale welcomes residents' pets is brilliant - and it was the deciding factor in our choice. [name removed].'s dog is good for others, as well. He is so happy there! He got acclimated much faster than we had ever imagined.

The person I worked with was so flexible as to coordinating a visit that my brother and I could do. He was in person and I live in another state so I was virtual. So helpful.

A little expensive. But they're great. People with lots of help. Good food. Nice atmosphere and pretty decent apartments plus you can have a pet.
