Brookdale

I find the Brookdale memory care facility to be outstanding. Is the most cleanest facility I've seen in a very long time. The rooms are beautiful. The staff I was standing they're very courteous and respectful of the people that they're survey. Overall, I rate this facility at 10. Everyone that works there is very personable and caring. I couldn't have chose a better place for my family member. Thank you so very much for assisting me in finding this place that meets my needs for my Aunt!

The staff is caring & very friendly. They're always willing to answer any questions or concerns that I have or that my mother-in-law has. She's 92 & has adjusted better than I expected. I think the hard working & caring staff is the reason for this. She's not much for activities at all, but since convincing her to play bingo, she looks forward to playing every week! She misses her home, but says she feels safe at Brookdale. Considering she moved from her home she lived in for over 60 years to an assisted living facility where she didn't know anyone, Brookdale has been a life saver for her & our family.

Out of all the facilities we looked at this had the best room size for both one room and studio. The staff is friendly and helpful always ready to do whatever they can. Food is excellent and abundant. You can get something all day and take snacks back to your space if you want them for later. Residents are checked on several times a day and night to ensure they are ok. This facility doesn't smell like a hospital or care facility, you would think you were in an upscale hotel except for the walkers and wheelchairs. Each day is filled with activities that you can choose to join or not depending on each residents preference.

I am very happy at Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens. The Staff is very nice and helpful. I appreciate everyone who works so hard to keep us active and safe. I look forward to the amazing buffet breakfast.

I love it here! I have the best time with my friends. I am a resident ambassador and like to welcome new residents and help them get acclimated. I love the food and there's always something to do. It's worth coming to see - if you see me in the community - say hi!

I would rate them all except food. That I would give a 4. My parents are picky. The staff is very accommodating. Our flight was later in the day/evening. They had staff held later to check my parents in and provide much needed meal. Both my parents got an appointment with their primary onsite doc. They are going to be using their onsite, dental, PT, and hair salon. Both seem happier than when they were in Port Orange FL at the Gallery. It's very homey, with way less residents. I would strongly recommend. They've even met some friend. They also have planned daily activities.

We found the facility very nice, clean and welcoming. All of the residents that we met while on the tour told us that they were happy there and considered it home. Our guide was warm and caring and answered all of our questions thoroughly. We hope our loved one can call it home as well.

We were taken to two apartments, once it was established what size we needed. The apartments are refurbished when residence move out. The people we met were pleasant and highly pleased with their experiences at Brookdale. They described, interesting activities, great people, both staff and residents. What especially attracted us to this location was the landscape and the fact that there were walking trails between places on the property. It’s very pretty.

My dad has indicated that they serve chicken too much. I scored the activities a five because they offer a ton of activities. I score my parents a 1 because they don't take advantage of all of the activities… Ha ha ha. It seems to be a good value compared to the other sites we looked at. I like friendly staff because my mom literally talks to everyone and they always stop and truly listen to what she has to say to them. And I am literally talking everyone from the facilities guy to the front counter person to a staff member walking down the hallway.

I toured this facility on [date removed] and was very pleased. The manner in which my daughter and I were greeted, immediately gave us both a very comfortable feeling. [name removed] (Sales Manager), met with us initially before the tour to discuss the folder of information she provided. Our interaction with her was exemplary in both situations. The facility was nicely decorated, clean and very inviting. The staff and some of the residents present during our tour were both welcoming and engaging. Overall, out of the several facilities I’ve toured, Brookdale was the best and I know my 96 yr old mother will love it!

I was very impressed with Brookdale. The only reason we did not go with it is because it is on the east side of town. I needed something closer to my dad's house so he can visit my mom daily.

The person who showed me around knew basically everything about the property and has been a longtime employee on this property. They have staff that’s been there for 25+ years. I met residents, nurses, well, everyone I saw briefly. The first time I was there was during lunch. It smelled good- my husband and I almost stayed. The facility was clean, the people were friendly, the residents were clean. It’s a bit older but so is my dad. The library/ puzzle room is great- I’m a book and puzzle person. The pool table room was nice, there are card tables, too. The pool is big and the deck area is nice and has grills. They’re pro family visits, aka I can hang out with my dad and my husband can hang out with us or make use of the amenities. I toured a good number of places in two cities and Brookdale South felt homey and comfortable(I was not expecting it). I cancelled my remaining tours and chose them. Their google rating was tanked by a fired employee and folks who didn’t read the contract

The overall staff is very caring and friendly on a daily basis, the facility is clean and cheerful, and my family members enjoy the food and the variety of choices.

My father loves the food, facility is very clean, they do a lot of activities and my father likes the veteran stuff and acknowledgement they do. The facility is one story and easy to navigate with some nice outdoor areas. Nurses and staff are friendly and do a great job keeping up on what my dad needs.

Brookdale Carmel is able to provide a higher level of care than many assisted living communities, especially for loved ones living with dementia or Alzheimer’s. That is a huge factor for families, along with the warm environment and the caring, experienced team. I have had the opportunity to work with [name removed] and several members of the staff, and it is clear how deeply they care about their residents and families. I would absolutely recommend Brookdale Carmel to anyone exploring senior living or memory care.

We toured looking for my mom. We toured several communities and we were very impressed with the layout and the staff. Very friendly and seemed very engaged with the residents!

The staff was very helpful with everything that I needed to do and getting her in there the car is very nice activities. Look like they would be fun. Food looks good. The place seem to be very clean. The apartment size was adequate for one person and I had enough space in there for one person. It seem to be very nice. The only thing I had to replace was the bed mattress because Myrtle did not like it so I replaced that otherwise my experience has been very good.

Everything has been top notch. The care is great. Everyone is very nice and respectful. I would definitely recommend them to others who are searching for senior living for their loved one.

We are still very pleased with Brookdale Richland Hills and would rate a 5 on all categories. I will say that [name removed] does complain occasionally about the food but it is usually because they served something that wasn't his favorite. With that in mind, I would still rate it as a 5. [name removed] is a loner and doesn't like to participate in many of the activities but I watch the calendar and find the choice of activities are quite adequate for the clientele that are currently there.
