Brookdale

What stood out, is how clean it is. And the people there seem to really care. They make her stay enjoyable

Location and the staff is what stood out the most.

Smaller community. Yes, would recommend. It's too soon to tell if anything could be improved.

They cook, clean, and do laundry for her. Everyone is friendly and they have lots of activities. She LOVES it.

Brookdale has been such a blessing for my dad. The staff is wonderful and take such amazing care of him.

From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcomed by [name removed] and [name removed]—they have both been wonderful. [name removed] at the front desk is also amazing and always helpful. The rooms are just the right size, which works well for someone like my aunt who has dementia and is used to living in a smaller space. I also really appreciate how residents are placed in small dining groups so they can build friendships and feel more connected. I recently attended a family chorus event on Saturday, and it was outstanding. Residents sang in the chorus, and they provided sweets, soda, juice, beer, and wine for everyone. It was a great time for both the residents and their families. I’m really glad we decided to choose this community.

[name removed] on the nursing staff is amazing as well as [name removed] the chef! [name removed] the activities director is absolutely wonderful!!! Praying they hire someone for weekend activities very soon.

Its been hard to decide to put my dad in a different living situation. I don't understand what he needs. The staff at Brookdale Cypress Lake helped me understand how everything works. They were genuine, respectful, empathetic and full of great options for my dad. I feel confident that Brookdale is the right place. Its not a huge place and feels friendly, not like some fancy , cold ,stuffy, and expensive place . The staff and people are knowledgeable and full of energy. It seems like a happy place and I like the variety of food and activities. The Florida hallway was so bright and happy. The rooms were nice and the price is right. Thank you Brookdale Cypress Lake .

My sister and I loved the care and consideration given to both of our parents at Brookdale Beckett Meadows. They were both in memory care and the staff were always above and beyond in the care they gave each of them. After our father passed away, they took our mom on field trips, out to eat, and she got to participate in many craft projects. My sister nor I could have ever offered that level of care and taken care of our own lives. [Name Removed] was one of the first people we met when our parents joined Brookdale. She was someone that would contact us if they needed anything, she would let us reach out to her when we were sad or needed help understanding this journey. She helped us through a very difficult time. [Names Removed], everyone in Memory Care rocked. We have fond memories, although not the memories we would have asked for. The people were very kind and interactive we had a tour of the building and left with the feeling that people are well cared for.

The health center which is a rare find in Rhode Island is amazing. The nurse [name removed] is so kind and responsive. My dad had dementia so i did not know dementia could live there! its great because they can do more than other dementia places!

The staff really gets to know each resident, as well as the families. They are extremely gentle and kind to the residents, helping them participate in activities and understanding their needs.

This place is a hidden gem, it may not be the newest but is sure is the best. The team is so kind and it is not to big for my aging mom to get around. The entire staff was welcoming even though I came in unexpected.
