Brookdale

I am a resident at Brookdale Beckett Meadows in Austin TX and want to thank [name removed], the Business Officer Manager. He is a true professional who devotes many hours to assuring that all of the residents who live there are receiving appropriate care, attention, proper and tasty meals, etc. he often conducts tours of the facility and asks residents how they are doing and to inform him if they have any requests or comments regarding the staff and the facility. He has taken the time to show me the proper way to walk around the facility and meet other tenants. He is a true gentleman and professional. ([name removed], resident)

My father has recently been admitted to Brookdale Dublin Memory care. I have visited him every day. The caregivers are friendly and helpful. I have already gotten to know most of them by name. The food is also very good and my father enjoys it. He was able to adjust quickly to the facility and now calls it home. I have also been in contact with the nurse, and other staff, who answered my questions promptly.

Great place. My dad loves it there. They offer; Bathing medicine physical therapy transport dressing food housekeeping laundry

5 on all the categories. Great staff and management. My mom is very comfortable there. Yes, I would recommend Brookdale Hendersonville East to other families based on the experience so far.

Quality of care drop down to a four only because they have a few not so great aides that would rather chit chat then do their job. That being said they have very caring and amazing staff! Their response time to a pressed call Button could be quicker but they have a lot of patients and are probably short on quality staff, as everyone is in California. Our family has experienced a friendly staff, great dining room and food, fun and plentiful activities, prompt and efficient Administration. I would recommend Brookdale for your loved one.

They keep it maintained very well and clean often. Staff is helpful and delightful. I love the food and making new friends. I have the freedom to come and go as I wish, but I still feel safe and secure. [name removed], the shuttle driver, takes me anywhere I need to go even to Providence in Novi. [name removed] in maintenance hung my TV the week I moved in. [name removed] at the front desk is very knowledgeable and helps me when I need her.

My husband recently moved to Brookdale First Colony. The staff was extremely welcoming and the apartment was in excellent condition on move-in day. He eased into life at Brookdale with ease as he made friends with the lovely residents and is enjoying several of the many activities offered at this facility The grounds and gardens are beautifully maintained and he is spending lots of time outdoors with friends on the covered dearies areas. I’m extremely pleased with the transition.

I had a great tour of Brookdale Salem. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. I witnessed a care staff talking with a resident and she was so gentle and caring while she spoke to her. Everyone was busy working and the place was clean and free of clutter. The hallways are spacious and the place smells good. The rooms are very nice and clean. My experience while touring was very informative. I am gathering information for a future move for a loved one. I felt like all my questions were answered and was given a business card if i have anything additional i need to inquire about.

The best would have to be three good meals a day with dessert included with lunch and dinner. If you want to sleep in or sleep too much or you miss a bingo game where most come and it is a fun activity. There are also movies and crafts and exercise at mid morning. If you are in need for medicine they will give it to you daily or provide it for weeks at a time to take when you wish.

Administrator and residents are caring. Administrators are though and truly care for each resident.

Only been here for a few months and everyone is so friendly. Exercise has helped me become more mobile. All my neighbors are friendly and helpful.

They provide excellent care in this facility, more so than other facilities my mom has lived. The staff are kind and attentive and you can tell they really care about the residents there. It’s a smaller facility too, which I believe makes it easier for the staff to be attentive to the residents.

This is the second time my husband has been a patient at Brookdale Dublin. The first time they did such a good job that they put 40 pounds on him and grabbed him back from a psychotic break – – she was able to come home for two years. This time he needs a different kind of care as the dementia progresses. Again their care andtheir knowledge of what someone with dementia needs to feel safe has him functioning and participating again. I can’t thank Brookdale enough for improving both of our lives.

Everytime I come to visit my mom she seems happy. Surrounded by caring staff She is well fed and is always busy. She watches TV, plays games, listens to music and on nice days relaxes in the court yard.

I don't have to much to say other than everyone was just great and very loving towards my mother in law.

My mom has dementia and our family members cared for mom after dad passed away for almost a year and a half. As her dementia progressed she needed more and more care 24/7. We were overwhelmed that’s when our journey started to find a place for mom. A place that cared a place that showed compassion a place that understood mom and her memory needs. We found that at Brookdale and so much more. Wonderful people that understand how to deal with her needs. Mom is kept busy with lots of activities to going on bus rides to exercise classes to Bible devotions to games to art classes. Mom is monitored closely by the medical staff they’re doing an awesome job. Mom has made friends and enjoys talking, watching tv and eating together. Mom’s words “they’re good to me here.” For me and my family Brookdale is our helping hands.

It is an older facility, but it well kept. Size of room was good. Staff were responsive and helpful. The food was good. They had daily activities and had special activities for holidays.

The staff are attentive and responsive. The dining room is very well run. The activities are well planned. The only suggestion I will offer is to write the date on food containers to assist with food safety. The apartment is the perfect size.

Choosing this community has give out family huge peace of mind and that is chiefly do the caring, dedication staff. From the management to the care tear facility maintenances everyone treats our oved one warmth and respect. The smaller community makes it feel more home like. The community is well maintained and staff works hard to keep things clean. I've only noticed infrequent instances where a common area ight need a quicker trying but overall its excellent. There is a variety of activities. Offered and the actitives coordinator is dedicated and energetic. It's a pleasure to see so many resident attend Bfit chair exercise classes and movies in the theater in the evening. While the current selection is great. I would love to see a greater focus on in-house, in person church service- for residents who can no longer attend out side service in the future. Spiritual fellowship and personal connection that come with a minsters presence is so important to many resident. Even more at this season of life of life. The care coordination has been extremely effective during my loved ones critical first few weeks. Transitioning to a new environment is always challenging but staff provided prompt action and individualized implementation to ensure need were met. The responsive approach answered the early weeks were smooth, comfortable and truly tailored to specific routine and needs. This level of attentiveness is what gives out loved one and family the greatest peace of mind.
