Brookdale

The care and treatment that my dad has received is exceptional. He has improved significantly in the short time that he been a resident. He loves all of the staff and they encourage him to take part activities, which makes him feel important.

Enjoying employees and the residents that I met. Everyone was helpful and nice. The sales department went the extra mile to include my mother. Ex took her lunch from the facility as well as providing her a small birthday gift.

Food is very good, lots of variety. Residents are very friendly and welcoming. Our villa, a duplex of 1305 sq fr, is roomy and comfortable with a beautiful back area, appearance-wise the mature trees everywhere add great appeal.

The executive director [removed name], the sales manager [removed name], the food servers, the front office and all the staff are above & beyond what we expected! No complaints at all. The only issue we have is the WiFi. It goes down constantly! My husband was an IT tech fir years & can tell you exactly what's wrong if you're interested.

My MIL lived at Brookdale Lake Highlands for right at 2 years and her care was exceptional. We originally placed her in the assisted living side, but it became apparently quickly that she needed memory care. The facility worked with us on this and was very accommodating along the way. In addition, Brookdale assisted us in securing Hospice to add an additional level of care for her. Every time we visited (unannounced), my MIL was very clean and well cared for - her hair smelled nice, her clothes were clean, and she was NOT just sitting in her room alone. In addition, her room was always tidy and clean. We did not know what to expect in terms of care for an elderly Alzheimer's patient, but after 2 years, I can honestly say that we would 100% choose Brookdale Lake Highlands again! The primary concern with anyone in this stage of life is their physical well being and without any doubt, this Brookdale facility took great care of her.

I recently had a virtual tour of the facility and from what I could see, residents have a clean and very community driven friendly atmosphere there, with quality caregiving options. I will recommend to my elder relative!

My mom was a resident of Brookdale for about 18 months. The staff and In House Hospice worked together to provide her with excellent care. It didn’t matter if visited in the morning, afternoon, evening, or late at night. She was cared for well! She truly became a part of the Brookdale family. They were patient with her, took the time to care for her particular needs, and went over and beyond expectations. Communication was good. Compassion was evident. There were so many fun activities planned from holiday parties, fun get togethers, outings to restaurants, etc.. They bring in live entertainment regularly. They even have a secure outdoor courtyard for residents to go outside when the weather is nice. Even though I live out of state, I did not have any concerns knowing they were taking good care of her in between my visits. Don’t hesitate to put your loved one in their care.

Very helpful, understanding, and knowledgeable staff. She made the experience so much easier. I had so many questions and she provided all the answers. Very patient and understanding. Front and back of building was very nice.

The community is amazing. They care wonderful with all patients and residents. They work wonderful with everything. The community is always friendly and clean! All the staff is welcoming everyone should get a raise.

We really did like Brookdale and wish it could've worked out better. Find what interests the family member is interested in and ask questions about that. My mother in law was motivated by meals, so we made sure we asked about that. I think they needed to offer more choices for the residents to pick from.

The minute I walked into the facility staff and guest were all happy, friendly and greeted me so very kindly. Been here for my mom for 2 wks. Restaurant housekeeping and desk employees were all very welcoming and always smiled. It made me feel like this is were all very welcoming and always smiled. It made me feel like is where I want to be someday also.

Great visit loved the rooms.

My brother-in- law passed in August but was a resident for approximately 1 1/2 years. He was very happy there. The rooms are very comfortable, the staff outstanding, professional as well as kind. Lots of activities geared for those with dementia. The food was good as well as the snacks. In emergencies the staff is well trained and very thorough with getting proper care. Communication between staff and familes is very. Highly recommend.

I love it here so much -- I love the staff and the friends I have made-- I love everything about Brookdale Grand court- I have been here for many years . My family is always welcome and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else

My mother was a resident for ~4 months. I visited several days a week. Staff was always courteous and responsive. I also had interaction with regional manager who was great. I would recommend the facility to anyone in need of memory care.

[name removed] and Staff are knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. I would feel good about my father staying here. I didn't see any red flags. The residents seem happy and eager to socialize. I also am impressed with the time of service of many employees; 10+ years on average. This alone says a lot about the facility and the team managing it.

We are so happy that our mom is at Brookdale. She has so much fun there. She has gained so many friends and is the happiest I've seen her since dad passed away. Housekeeping would be the only thing. I wish could be a little more consistent. Overall, we give Brookdale 10 STARS!

I lead the mahjong club and love it here. I have lived here 12 years and enjoy inviting new resident to play the game.

My apartment is spacious and good sized. Everyone is so nice and the maintenance tech was very helpful. My apartment is near an elevator and the community access is great.
