What we like the most about Brookdale Southside are the conditions of the apartment, friendliness and staff. The staff helped me with setting up my mother a month before she moved in and answered my questions willingly.

I was so pleased with their treatment of my mom. From [name removed] and [name removed] handling the onboarding and day to day to [name removed] scheduling activities and family nights. All of the staff were amazing. My mom was very happy there and she had that glint in her eyes!! I really love those people over there. They have the calling to do those jobs and I am grateful that A Place for Mom directed me to them. 5 out of 5!

I have three pages of complaints. Obviously they aren't bad enough to take my mother out. It's essentially the poor quality of care by the heath and wellness staff. Everyone else there is lovely and very caring. I think anyone wanting to put a parent in Brookdale should know is that they have to be a strong advocate for their parent and to keep a constant watch on their care.

The NA are because I leased an apartment moved in all belongings and parent passed away before moving in and spending 1 night. However, Everyone was very helpful especially the administrative staff. They refunded a lot of our rent and the one time buy in fee that they didn't have to do.
