My father was recently at this facility for rehabilitation. The staff was very supportive of our family’s efforts to celebrate his birthday in tough circumstances. Now that my mother is also seriously ill, we are close to making a decision to move them to assisted living. A smaller community like this could meet their needs well, though the apartments themselves could use some updates. The location is also very convenient for us.

Very friendly staff who seem to really care about their patients. I was able to tour the memory care facility and got to look in a couple of rooms. When we were touring, the ladies were getting their nails polished! I saw their schedule posted for the whole month and there was always something for them to do.

The administrative staff were truly awesome! As far as the food goes, I think they could benefit by offering more of a selection rather than the same thing everyday, especially breakfast, it's a mixture of sausage scrambled eggs a and cubed potatoes.

The main entrance area was huge and inviting with the library and seating areas. The dining area was nice and the staff took the time to explain things to my folks. They love prepared meals, but it was really cool that they offer casual "anytime" meals, ie, something as simple as a PB&J. If you start independent and then move to assisted care, you don't have to move from the unit that you started in. We also liked that if/when my Mom needs to move to memory care, she won't be in a different building than my Dad. My Mom likes to walk and she can safely do laps around the outside of the building and it’s also big enough to get steps in on the inside on rainy days. I really hope they choose this place.
