Awesome activities director! Administration have answered all questions and concerns quickly! Memory Care facility is warm and inviting. Staff seems to care for residents!

I have had the best experience at Brookdale in Zanesville Ohio. I have had my 90 year old dad living with my husband and I. It was a blessing but dare I say a curse. At 90 my dad has dementia but is still unbelievable and able to do a lot of self care. But he was bored and sometimes I felt that even though I gave him the best “care” I wasn’t able to care for his mind or his interests or being around others. And he needed their beautiful walking paths and fitness options. Finally the staff is amazing!!!!!!! I spent months getting to know them before I chose to take my dad there. I have made true friends there and the staff have always had my back!

Beautiful facility. Everyone was friendly and dressed so nice. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Loved the home like feeling of the community. It was very high on our list for my stepmother to potentially go to. But its small size turned out to be a negative for her. Otherwise, we would recommend the community to others looking for a place for mom.

The staff were very friendly, and the residents were very welcoming. The facility is clean, offers lots of common spaces and activities for residents. Meal choices were good. The only downside was how small the studio rooms are.

The staff was very helpful and professional. The rooms were a good size and had all the accommodations that were needed. I liked the amenities Brookdale offers and the price fits in my budget. Best of all I can bring my pets.

The staff is great. Very attentive and want to please. Lots of activities. I love my apt. It is spacious. I have noticed a change in the food. Portions are less and not as good as they were. They are changing management co [Date Removed] from Brookdale to Pegasus. Don't know how that will change things.

Every time I speak with anyone on the staff they are always so kind and seem very happy in their jobs.

What we like the most about the community is the friendly atmosphere and clean. My mother's room appears well maintained. Employees are friendly and I can see the care about the residents.

What we like the most about Brookdale Utica is that it is clean, friendly, and they have good food. It is brightly lite with lots of windows, comfortable porch for nice weather. Mom really doesn't participate in activities. Activities could be more.

Mom has been at Brookdale for almost 2 years now, and they take very good care of her. She is always clean, and she is always happy. We can visit 24/7, which is great. I don't have to worry about mom she is well taken care of.

The facility was immaculate, light and airy. The residents were cheerful and friendly. [Name Removed] was a gracious host. It struck me that all the residents and employees greeted her. [Name Removed] took time on a Sunday afternoon to show the facility of which she is very proud. The dining room was spacious and welcoming.

The residents all were laughing and enjoying themselves. The facility was clean and neat. The staff was incredible and friendly. They answered my questions and helped me with areas I hadn’t even considered. This place is for my mother. My wife and I both agreed this is where we want to go to when the time comes. Everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

We are so thankful we found this assisted living community. Making the decision wasn’t easy, but it has truly been one of the best choices for our family. From the very beginning, everyone made us feel comfortable and welcomed. The staff is amazing — kind, patient, and always willing to help. They really take the time to get to know each resident, and it shows. It’s comforting to walk in and see smiles, hear laughter, and know your loved one is surrounded by people who genuinely care. The building is always clean and inviting, the activities keep everyone engaged, and the meals are something our loved one actually looks forward to. Most importantly, we have peace of mind knowing they are safe and supported every day. We couldn’t ask for a better place. Highly recommend!

My Mom is happy and content with Brookdale Tanglewood Oaks . She has mentioned to me numerous times about how nice the staff looks after her. I myself can tell you that everyone at Brookdale is professional and very friendly. I knew the moment I stepped foot into Brookdale Tanglewood Oaks that this was the place for my Mom. The staff is top notch in not only their attention to detail but their attitudes and positive spirit. My mom really likes the food. The last two years have been the hardest of our lives for both my mother and myself. She had a house she lived in for 40 years that had stairs and understandably refused to give it up. She had a very bad fall in [date removed] and had to go to assisted living against her will (and to my relief). She has lived at two separate facilities before brookdale which seemed like they were doing much less than they should but I had no point of reference. Once we got to Brookdale I saw how much care and attention to every detail they give. Then I realized exactly how much her other places had been neglecting her.

This was my brother's first time needing assisted living. The first 2 weeks were difficult for him. The staff went out of their way to make him feel at home. Having good food was a big plus. After the initial adjustment, he loved living there. They let him use a room to have bible studies with his friends from church. He was able to impress them with the coffee machine that dispenses great coffee, cappuccino, and other drinks all for free. They convinced him to try some activities. He quickly got addicted to playing bingo and often boasted about his winning. Every Friday they had good entertainment that he enjoyed. The only reason he had to leave is because his condition worsened and he needed higher level of care.
