Brookdale

The staff here is incredible! We did not move here in the best of circumstances as far as our health but have been helped every step of the way, from coordinating the move with my relatives to helping my husband get released from a nursing home when he was ready but they wanted to keep him for their own reasons. They also have available and coordinate getting very good primary medical care, PT and OT right here in the facility. Some of my early days have been tough and they will deliver meals to our room when ill or (for a fee) or when I just didn't feel like going to dining room. They accepted a package for us and delivered it to our room. It's truly well thought out and comprehensive help. They also promote community among residents and though we're still new here we have met many people, even without yet (for our own health reasons mainly) being able to participate in activities. I highly recommend Brookdale Farmington Hills and A Place for Mom!

I had a wonderful experience. Staff is very patient and explained the process. The referrals were excellent. My parents love where they are. I am so grateful for the referral. I love where my parents are. It is a perfect place for my parents.

It has been a great move for me. If you like activities like I do they have many to join. All the staff have been very friendly and helpful. I have met many nice people. Food has been great and they have other options if you don’t have what they are serving. Overall I would rate them 10

My mom needed to be placed in assisted care to leave the hospital. Brookdale Tanglewood had a small room open with a larger room opening later. When my wife and I visited we immediately noticed how clean Tanglewood was, how friendly the staff was and how professional the nurses and medical staff were. They interacted with the residents with a level of care and concern that I had not expected. A month later we feel the same way. The staff enjoys working here, and the management cares as much for the staff as they do the residents. The residents have daily activities and the option of attending weekly shopping trips, so they aren't "trapped " with no where to go. You can take your loved one on a walk along the Trinity, and visit Trader Joe's across the street. Tanglwood is set up to transport residents to doctors appointments which is great when I can't. We are pleased with Brookdale and would encourage you to visit, check out the amenities and see if it would be a good fit!

My daughter and I were pleased to find a facility as nice as this one for my husband’s care. Brookdale staff is friendly and caring. They call clients by their names and are upbeat. They have a good time while working around the clients. And they decorate the public rooms for the holidays, just like being at home. It’s a very comfortable place with something for everyone.

Moving my dad to assisted living was one of the most emotional experiences I have ever had. However, [name removed] and[name removed]helped me navigate it both procedurally and emotionally. My dad's nurse, [name removed], immediately made him and me feel like family. Communication is good, and they are all patient with my incessant questions. I have had just one complaint, and it was taken care of immediately. Staff is extremely friendly.

Mom was very active in her neighborhood before moving, so she needed a place with the amenities she needed, plus a community of friends and plenty to do. Brookdale has been perfect for her. The residents and staff have all been very welcoming and helpful.

A Place for Mom shared Brookdale Charlotte East for my sister who has a tight budget. Wow! It’s wonderful! Never met so many nice, friendly people in one location. The staff, the residents—everyone has made my sister feel welcome. The food is excellent! Activities galore. My sister had some health issues first week there, and the staff were so helpful. Highly recommend!

It has been such a blessing finding Brookdale! The staff is so helpful and friendly and all of the residents are happy and so friendly! The facility is clean and inviting and the activities are plentiful!

Everyone was so easy to work with and very accommodating. Everything was explained to us and if we didn’t understand anything they were very patient. [name removed] seems to be very happy and actually seems to be thriving well.

My uncle is 79 y/o blind/and his health was on was on a steady downhill slide. Took him for a walk through and he loved it it and made a decision that day, that was 3 months ago now he’s happy and laughing again his health has gotten better he’s making lots of friends there and getting his strength back and able to walk longer and learning to navigate on his own to the dining room where if you walk by all you hear older adults laughing and talking while they are enjoying life. When you walk through the front door you meet the sweetest little old ladies that are having a good time having their own social time and will be glad to invite you into the conversation and have you laughing right along with them, no bad smells , smells like home

I give it a wonderful Five I also give that a five it is an open space waiting for happiness There is a lot of activity going on both inside and in the back small courtyard for those who enjoy smoking or listening to music sharing a craft or just general chatting in the rocking chairs that are in the back everyone has a smile for you and will greet you by name if they remember otherwise wear the tag and they'll greet you by name. They are Johnny on the spot They stay with you while the ambulance is there while you are in the hospital they call and cheer you on when you return home They have a staff that is on top of all of the activities and is there to answer any question you may have even the personal ones they take an active interest and will help you through it to make you feel part of a community that cares yes I know only one to five but their food is made by world chefs, and 95% of the time the food is hot. It is brought to your table of four people. There are many tables for you to enjoy your dining pleasure with friends and family when you return from a hospital stay they will serve your meals in your room for a short period of time at no extra charge to you. The activities there are diversified many games going on all day in addition to structured exercise program as well as exercise equipment for on your own doing there's a pool that's available at certain times, but you must have a buddy in order to use the pool at non-pool times there's a hairdresser and a nail tech Arts and crafts as well as a store little tiny convenience store. I'll get together on Friday afternoon movies and outside entertainment in the evening they come in. I was sad when I had to give up my apartment at Brookdale independent living, senior solutions and come to Overture @ Crabtree only because I have made friends. I had just gotten that apartment to look like a home welcoming charming so if you're looking for value as well as a home atmosphere with not so much on your own activity Then fail is the way to go

They have excellent communications, no matter what's going on. The staff is always friendly. Mom has been there a year and she absolutely loves the place. The food is really good and there is always something to do. We couldn't have chosen a better place.

Brookdale is a beautiful, friendly and warm establishment. I found the staff to be very caring and engaging with the residents. It was clean, organized and there were lots of fun activities for the residents. I would recommend Brookdale to anyone looking for a place for their loved one.

Staff very friendly & are able to pick up my mother's likes & dislikes. Within a few weeks, my mother is happier and feeling much better than she was before. She loves the meals and activities that gets her out of her room. Before she was depressed, but now, she is excited about what is gonna happen the next day! The physical therapy has progressed so well also. Kudos to the Entire staff!!

They were our first interview and I was impressed with the facility and the rooms. The staff and managers have been very honest with us and helpful. They understand the stress and anxiety that goes into making the residents feel safe and cared for.

After touring a few places, it was an easy choice to have my father live in Brookdale Cypress Station. They have all of the support he needs, good food, wonderful staff and kind residents. I could not be happier that my father is getting the attention he needs from everyone there. He has a very comfortable apartment equipped to meet his needs. Brookdale Cypress Station’s staff—the director, the sales representative, the receptionists, nurses, chefs, and everyone in between— share their passion, caring, and understanding of each resident’s needs each day as they help build a community-like atmosphere. They love their jobs, and I’m sure it is why most of the staff has been there for a while. Moving a cherished family member to assisted living is not easy, but they made the experience so much better. I can’t recommend this senior care living community enough!

This facility is by far the best one we have visited. Mom liked it so much that she moved in and has not been disappointed. Staff is extremely helpful and always friendly. Mom is living in independent Living however I would almost consider it assisted because the staff does so much for her. They clean her apartment once a week, do her laundry, and they cook three meals a day in the dining hall that she is welcome to go to. There is also on site medical staff 24 hours a day that is only a call Button away. She loves involving herself with the many activities that are available there as well. And all this a much better price than any of the other places we toured.

My sister-in-law loves it here ! Daily activities and outings she couldn’t be happier . Very clean , loves the food . Everyone watches out for each other and has made a lot of friends . Affordable pricing and enjoys the daily workouts.

From the beginning, the people at Broookdale Emerson impressed me by the kindness to me & to the residents. I met with the head of Sales who knew residents’ names. When I brought my mother back, we had lunch with him and the executive director. My mother also felt the care & kindness at this meeting. Now that she has moved in, she tells me how happy she is. The nurses, caregivers and even the staff in the dining room are so friendly and helpful. I can honestly say that we found the right place for Mom.
