Brookdale

Our experience with Brookdale in Stillwater has been all positive. My mother-in-law is thriving there! Before she started living there, I didn't think she would live much longer. But today, she has 3 awesome meals a day, they help her get her showers, & they check in on her several times day & night. All the staff are so positive. One of the nurses said she tries to treat all of the residents like her grandparents & what I see from the staff, that is the climate at Brookdale. She has her own apartment with her own furniture which makes it seem more like home. Brookdale is small enough that all the staff knows each resident by name. The layout of the facility enables residents to have indoor places to walk & get exercise. They are so observant to the residents needs. My mother-in-law was having difficulty holding the silverware at lunch & the staff provided her with weighted silverware, which has helped her eat. And one day when my husband had surgery & she was sad & worried about him, they noticed & called one of her sons to let him know. On several occasions, they told us as we were leaving to please let them know if they can do anything else to better meet my mother-on-laws needs. We highly recommend Brookdale to anyone looking for a place for their loved one!

I have family at Brookdale and they absolutely love it there. The staff treats my parents like their own and that is important to us. My parents praise the staff and managers about how it is a big family there and how it is a close knit facility where everyone helps to make the place a home for their residents. I never have to worry because I know they are in good hands. I recommend this place to anyone wanting care for their loved ones.

Brookdale is a very clean and loving environment. The staff is super friendly and has many activities that the residents can partake in, including outings and activities here in the facility. My friend loves living there and enjoys it very much. I would recommend this assisted living to any person who is seeking a place for their loved ones.

5 For all categories they were truly exceptional. Staff interaction with residents were warm, caring, and attentive. Loved the courtyard and view from room was great. Communication was open and responses to questions quick. Great memory care and transition to hospice services were seamless. Classes for families were informative and relevant topics. Overall, an excellent experience...very supportive of families. My Dad loved the music entertainment.

My mother doesn't participate in anything so I can't rate the activities. What we like the most about Brookdale Monrovia would be probably the friendliness and the nursing staff's willingness to accommodate my mother's sometimes unique needs. Also it's location is very convenient. Close to several medical facilities and a pharmacy. every time I'm visiting, usually twice a week, all of the residents are cheerful and friendly. This is not always the case in assisted living facilities

The people who work there are amazing. Kind and caring! The food could use more variety on the menu.

We would like to express our sincerest gratitude and admiration for your exceptional team. Over the weekend, my dad faced a serious health issue, and thanks to the attentiveness and quick thinking of the staff, he received the urgent care he needed. The staffs keen observation set everything into motion, next another staff ensured the concern was swiftly communicated, and finally decisive action in calling for weekend assistance ultimately led to relief. Had this team not been so diligent, I truly believe my dad’s life could have been in grave danger. We have always appreciated Brookdale - Weddington Park, but this experience has shown us just how invaluable your team truly is. Their dedication and compassion made all the difference, and we will be forever grateful.

When we were searching for that right place for our Pop, they went above and beyond our expectations in working with us on getting him moved in and settled. He had a large amount of medications and the nursing staff did a great job coordinating those and helping him with showering, and other things. Not one person was ever short or unkind to him the entire time he was a resident.

My experience with Brookdale so far has been a very comfortable and warm experience, the staff answers my questions make necessary adjustments and always work to make me feel comfortable as they take care of my mom. They often say “thank you” to me for letting them care for my mom. They acknowledge that this is not an easy process for my mom and me as well. So far the experience has been good and I would tell anyone to check out Brookdale if they have to place a love one.

I love the trees and my patio. The property is very pretty. They have an awesome crafting center, ceramics, stained glass, painting, quilting and so much more. Everyone is very friendly. Yes, I would recommend Brookdale Club Hill to other families

The staff here is great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They appear to be "short staffed" but those that are here try very hard to take care of residents. I live in a studio apartment. I think it is big enough, although I would like a bit more storage space ( LOL). The one bedroom is very nice. You have a "living room" kitchenette and a bedroom plus bathroom. I think the food is good overall. There are a few things that I don't like but they have good alternatives available. They are willing to try and make meals you like. Even asks for recipes.

5's across the board. Truly. Excellent on every level and category. We are eternally grateful!! Every staff member I have met has a kind generous spirit. The food is great! The director initiates meetings twice a year with me and my siblings. If there is a concern, on their part or ours, we meet or talk on the phone additionally. We had a bridge loan before our mother's previous home was sold. The business office, [name removed], was wonderful with working with us through all the financial transitions. They are compassionate with our mother, and also with us!

Everyone is willing to help with paperwork and answering any questions.

I have found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Room sizes and amenities are more than adequate.

Brookdale Novi is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a warm, friendly environment at a price that’s manageable. The staff and residents are amazing! Definitely recommend if you’re in need of a place for your loved one!

The nursing care is excellent around the clock. They make sure that I am comfortable and listen when I tell them that something is not right. They communicate with the doctor to alleviate my problems. I am sleeping better because they told the doctor when something is working or not working. The PT/OT therapists listen to me as well and adjust my program to my needs The activities are interesting and give individuals the options to participate as much or as little as they choose. Their field trips are excellent and tailored to my limitations and interests.

I am so happy we chose Brookdale Westover Hills Assisted Living for my dad. He has been there about a month and a half. The staff are wonderful. He is loving it. It has given us such a peace of mind to Know he is happy and well taken care of. The most positive thing is that he is around others and is able to enjoy the social aspects.

I moved my mom to Brookdale from Southern California about a month ago. While it has been an adjustment for my mom the staff at Brookdale has done a great job making my mom feel at home. They are all very kind, patient and helpful. My mom says the food is good as well and maintenance has been very responsive.

This is the best place for our mom, I can sleep at night knowing I have nothing worries, and the staff is absolutely wonderful in making that possible. I wish every elderly person could experience this type of care. I’m so thankful that my mom is there and it’s a part of home in Brookdale ??

We felt welcome the moment we stepped in. The staff was wonderful and helpful. So accommodating. The residents were also wonderful without being in your face. Highly recommend So many activities in the facility and day trips.
