Brookdale

Brookdale is a great place and my mom really feels at home there! Many of the staff have worked at Brookdale for a long time. They don't seem to have much turnover. The executive director is very compassionate and competent. The care staff even send me pictures if my mom doing activities throughout the week. My mom has complained about the food at other facilities, but she likes the food at Brookdale. I highly recommend this facility.

When we had to move my mother-in-law from Eden Estates, there were no openings at Oak Hollow. We placed her at another [community removed] and we were terribly unhappy with the management. After 3 months we knew we needed to make another move. Thank God Oak Hollow had an opening! Oak Hollow has been excellent from Day 1! The management and staff are remarkable!! The food is exceptional and the chef takes pride knowing the residents enjoy it. [name removed] started a Support Group for family and those that might be thinking about moving their loved one to Oak Hollow. A few months ago, it started with 3 participants. I believe there must be 20 now. Everyone is going through something different - yet the same. We could not be happier with the care, love and laughter my mother-in-law receives!

They are WONDERFUL! My mom loves the place and is doing not just better health-wise but also tells my sister and I all the time how happy she is. She loves the interactions with the other residents and has so much fun/looks forward to the activities they host. Thank you for all of yours and your teams help. I sing your praises all the time.

My 93-yr-old mother and 68-yr-old special needs brother have lived at Brookdale Champions for 3 years, during which time they have been well taken care of by the caregivers. The staff is very attentive, helpful, and caring. The maintenance man and housekeeper are very sweet and do a great job. The activities directors provide a lot of opportunities for entertainment and education and seem to truly care about the residents. The nursing staff is knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. Food is very good, with many different choices every day. Last, but certainly not least, is the excellent executive director, who listens to the residents and families and cares very much about making them happy. I would strongly suggest putting your loved one at this well-run “place for mom (or dad!).

Very nice, very knowledgeable and professional. All area are very clean and has a nice odor. [name removed] in food service was quiet to jump in as the MOD had an emergency.

Yes, I wish there were regular updates from the nurses as to mom's condition. Lately we have found her very confused and I don't know who to call to ask about a more clinical assessment or observation. They are not communicative with the family.

The friendliness of the staff and the quality of care services gets a 5+++. The staff is so incredible. [name removed](Brookdale at home and [name removed] DNO) ARE INCREDIBLE! [name removed]isn't selling units but connecting w families. They truly care. I love the community that has welcomed my dad.

What we like the most about Brookdale Colonial Heights is the friendly staff, their personal attention and that the food is mostly good. Yes, we would recommend Brookdale Colonia Heights to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

I would say truthfully that he is totally happy at the facility. The staff is excellent! The overall care is wonderful and more than I expected. The food he loves and is awesome. I rest easily knowing that all of my concerns are put to rest. I would recommend Brookdale fallen Creek to anyone looking for a facility for their loved ones. I am very picky and they have met all of my expectations plus much much more! I am amazed at the Care given to him, the love and the joy that I see on the staff's faces while taking care of the residence. If someone is in doubt about a facility for their loved ones, please consider Brookdale fallen Creek in Hickory North Carolina. Not once have I regretted making the choice to place him there. I know he is in safe hands.

The Staff is warm , friendly and makes my Mom feel very comfortable. Everyone has been so helpful with her transition to Brookdale. The food is very good and the options are great. The facility itself is kept up very well and housekeeping weekly does a fantastic job. My Mom says she is very happy there .

The staff is attentive and accessible to my mom as well as to me and my family. They know what she needs and are kindly accepting of her sometimes grouchy ways!

Staff is very friendly and welcoming. My mom is happy with the activities and feels very comfortable and at home there. She is treated like family.

I am thoroughly pleased with Brookdale the care taker love their residents. The activity director has exercise for them every day makes sure they drink water. The staff tries very hard to take care of any problem that arises.

My dad just recently moved here and already we feel like a part of the family. Everyone is very kind and attentive. We feel that we can ask any questions and they are answered in details. My dad loves to eat there are zero complaints. The staff and management have made this are easy and effortless transition to his new home. We grateful.

Clean, good staff

I probably am not the best judge of the activities because my friend who is the resident, there has only taken advantage of the happy hour and not gone on any of the external trips or done any of the other activities at the facility. Brookdale Lake Tavares has a very Upbeat and positive vibe. The location is beautiful and serene and the lake gives it a very peaceful ambience. The staff make you feel like family and are very fun and friendly. And the apartments themselves are spacious with excellent storage space and the fact that my friend was able to bring his dog and his cat makes it really feel like home to him. in addition, the location is great and close to shopping, restaurants and medical facilities. After looking at several places, finding Brookdale Lake Tavares was like hitting the jackpot!

Accessibility to the on site nurse. Everyone made a point to call me by name. Promptly answering the door. Most were willing to help with messes

Truly this facility treats residents and their families like one big family! I cannot like this any better! There are several room sizes available. A wonderful chef provides delicious food. The activities director keeps residents busy and happy with numerous events throughout the month. Bus trips, music, arts and crafts and games are evident. The Solace room has activities families can use with their loved ones. There is a TV room. Sensory activities are everywhere. The attentive nature of the caregivers is what impresses me the most. Additionally there is a Family Council that meets once a month to help family members learn and bond. The "family" at Brookdale Oak Hollow is exceptional. Sometimes we have speakers and other times we have opportunities to share while doing something unique. We had a paint and sip night. We've had a pot luck. Once in a while these gatherings allow family members to just "be" and take a breath.
