I am part of a coffee group that visits the facility each week. I am very impressed with the care the residents are given and how happy they are. The staff is wonderful to each person there and meet all their needs. They are clean and their rooms are very clean. The food is excellent too. It seems to be a great place to be when you need a little bit of extra care. I would highly recommend this facility.

As the daughter of one of the people that lives there, Ashbury Heights in Fayette has been a God-send. The personal attention and watch care given to the residents is more intensive than most homes of this level of care I've seen. This is no small thing when you consider all they are responsible for, even though it's a small home. My mom has lived here for about 5 months, having moved from her home of several years, and it's been a hard adjustment for her. By virtue of regulations there is a loss of self-direction, but she is trying to make it her own. She likes the food, and getting her manicures. :) Her family appreciates knowing she's safe and warm when bad weather hits, or when we're out of town. The people that work there have good insight when something is bothering her, encourage her to make her wants and wishes known and are great at communicating with family when needed. I am thankful for their service and assistance to mom.

So patient and sometimes even know what my grandma needs before she asks! When considering a place for her, we were also looking at a larger facility. Bristol Manor is a great place to live. I have lived here 5months. The staff goes out of the way to please you. The meals are great, on time and hot. They help you with problems that you may have. They are courteous to your family and friends. The place is clean. My son's didn't want me to come to a place like this and I have improved so much. They don't have to worry about me. The administrator is very good at her job, she knows her job and does her job. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Why,because the administrator picks upon changes in her residents. That is a great thing, that's also a good nurse. It is a home not a room. We have entertainment, have movie night with popcorn and soda. Bingo music and school kids that comes in with entertainment. The residents are like a family. To me, this place is home,nice, clean,warm and friendly. I was a charge nurse in a nursing home for 25 years. I know and notice things from the staff and I am quite comfortable and happy.

I have been at the Bristol community now going on four months. This is my first experience with an assisted living facility. I could not be happier. The facility is very accommodating to my needs. I really enjoy the food and activities. It is super clean. Would recommend it to anyone. I even noticed that they have a 2 room suite for a couple and is pet friendly.
