This was a nice community. It was a little older and dated but it was still a place that I would have considered for my loved one.

overall the facility is nice, modern, and up to date. The food is good and they provide a great diet. The admin was a little rigid but the main concern is the safety of their residence. My brother received good care while there.

My dad really complained about the food, the quality just was not there. Staff was very sweet, They really worked with us on many levels. Was hard to get a doctor in to see my dad. It was a confusing process. Since he moved from out of the area we had to find him new doctors and that was not easy.

My mother came to Ashbury when she could no longer live unassisted in her home. The move was very hard for her. Not only was she recovering from a broken hip, she also had to give up her independence and the privacy of her own home. The Ashbury staff helped her make this transition in a very caring way. Thank you Ashbury for giving my mother not only a new place to call home, but creating a new community of friends for her.

Wonderful place if u cannot keep your family at home ...this is the best home away from home. They treat them like they are their family and I know that made my grandma feel so at home.

My experience with the Essex of Sedalia has been very pleasant. The facility is clean and the staff is great. I appreciate that they take time to listen to my family's needs and they are always willing to go the extra mile. Thank you staff of Essex for all you do. :)

I placed my aunt in this facility and I am pleased at the care she is getting and the staff is always very friendly and the manager is always available and very pleasant and I love the home feel I get when I am there

My mother in law is living at Ashbury for approximately 3 months. We are very satisfied with the staff and how they really really try to help with your family member adjusting to their new residence. Staff always willing to talk over any problems with us. The rooms are very roomy and private and wonderful windows to allow sunshine in room. Most people don't want to leave home but when it happens Ashbury Heights has been a really good fit for our family.

My family is happy with our choice. It's a quiet place and our family member has been satisfied with living there.

There down the street from a lake with a park there keep there building amazingly clean and organized.they provide 3 home cooked meals a day with 24 hour on hand care . They provide Several actives through out the week for there residents all there employees are certified to administer medicine to there residents as need they have an amazing family feel when you walk into the building .

As far as services go, Bristol Manor is Great! There is certified staff that can pass medications 24/7. Services included with living here are housekeeping such as laundry and cleaning, medication administration, meals ( including delicious desserts). Bristol even supplies basic furniture if you do not have any at time of admissions. I feel like an update on carpet and interior design would be nice, but staff keep the building clean. My favorite part about the interior is the skylight window in the hallway where there is a little library nook perfect for a peaceful reading session. The only downside I see with Bristol Manor is that the price is high for the location, and although cable is included with living here, internet is not, which most places offer now since there is a rise of seniors using internet devices such as tablets.

The staff are friendly and helpful. I wish there was more variety to eat for vegetables, however we have constant snacks that are great and change every week.

One of the reasons why I chose this facility for my Mother is because it is a low capacity community with only 12 residents and it does not feel institutionalized. The staff members themselves are open, warm, and communicate with me very well. They do offer a lot of activities like puzzles, books on tape, and a radio to listen to. The meals are at the same time every day and they have a specified dining hall. The facility itself is kept up with very well and it has a family feel. It’s always clean here and it looks like a home. It is an older building and they could get a little more creative with the colors. I would recommend this facility to other families.

At times my love one can be nothing less than challenging.Very rarely do they have anything positive to say so for this person to rave about the staff is amazing. They are friendly and personable and extremely patient. The food must be delicious because again from a person that complains about everything to say it's good it must be extremely good. The community offers lots of activities such as card playing.

My friend uses to live at one of the sister communities to this property and his experience has been much better than where he was. He is doing very well making friends enjoying his new surroundings. He still works so he is not there a lot but when he is there he does try and participate in active and social hours. He has said the food is good and the staff is very nice and considerate. It is a much better choice location wise for him than other places. I would recommend this community to anyone
