One of the reasons why I chose this facility for my Mother is because it is a low capacity community with only 12 residents and it does not feel institutionalized. The staff members themselves are open, warm, and communicate with me very well. They do offer a lot of activities like puzzles, books on tape, and a radio to listen to. The meals are at the same time every day and they have a specified dining hall. The facility itself is kept up with very well and it has a family feel. It’s always clean here and it looks like a home. It is an older building and they could get a little more creative with the colors. I would recommend this facility to other families.

At times my love one can be nothing less than challenging.Very rarely do they have anything positive to say so for this person to rave about the staff is amazing. They are friendly and personable and extremely patient. The food must be delicious because again from a person that complains about everything to say it's good it must be extremely good. The community offers lots of activities such as card playing.

My friend uses to live at one of the sister communities to this property and his experience has been much better than where he was. He is doing very well making friends enjoying his new surroundings. He still works so he is not there a lot but when he is there he does try and participate in active and social hours. He has said the food is good and the staff is very nice and considerate. It is a much better choice location wise for him than other places. I would recommend this community to anyone

My sister is enjoying her time in this community, and so far things are going well. I do feel she is safe, and in good hands at this community. The staff is great. She has tried a few of the activities available for the residents. She says they feed them a lot, but overall the meals are good. This is a good, pleasant community. I would recommend it, my sister is well here.

We had an okay experience while touring. I was shown around and saw that the carpet could have been vacuumed. It seemed like it could be cleaned a little more. There was good interaction between the staff and residents. I thought they had quite a bit of residents here. This was a big community and not the place we needed.

It is real good for my mom but they will be ha changing managers again. We are hoping for a smooth transition. The current manager was very good, she will be missed. It is a clean community with caring staff. My mom likes the meals and the just had a good meal and she was tickled by it. My mom likes the residents, they are all nice people and not many of them. They all know each other well. The smaller environment is what we needed and liked.

I am very happy with this community. It is a older community, but very nice. The food is very appealing with a good variety. They have alot of activities that are offered. I would highly recommend this community for good care for loved ones .

For the most part the staff are providing good care and it seems like they really care about all the residents. The community make good tasting meals and has enough portions for all. The staff do a good job cleaning the facility all around. I was lucky to find this community and the price is very reasonable. I would recommend them.

Everything is going pretty well for my mother this community. She is still adjusting and getting use too the community. The community looks great and they keep everything very nice and clean. The staff is great, the communication between me and the staff is really good. She enjoys the food and is making some new friends. It has been a good experience. I would recommend it.

Dad loves it here..small facility means more individual attention..great food..laundry done and room cleaned..meds also given..Plenty of room to visit in common area and staff is always helpfull! Glad he can be in a facility in his own home town!

My mother seems comfortable and content after a couple weeks and that is my primary concern. She actually likes the food and the staff. I'm impressed with the overall cleanliness and the responsiveness of the staff

The food service needs to be improved at Bristol Manor Of Pleasant Hill. They serve a lot of hot dogs and junk. I know they have a lot more in the budget and I would like to see them spend it on more quality food. Sometimes they don't always empty trash and clean the bathrooms. I know it is because they are short staffed. I would like to see them hire more staff and be more thorough . Mom took a while to adjust but she is getting there. Overall it has been a good experience.
