I love knowing my dad is taken care of and I don't have to stress about him getting his meds, etc. Being a smaller community he gets more personalized care.

I toured this community and it was very nice and taken care of. The menu looked appealing. They offer a lot of nice activities for the residents. The staff was able to answer this I would recommend this for families to come and see the community for the care for a loved one.

I am very happy with this community. My mom is happy here and she likes the staff who are caring. The food is very good.She likes a lot of the activities.I like that the community is small and it felt like a good fit for my mom. I would recommend this community to others.

I like this community very much. The staff is caring and always helpful. It is a smaller community and we are pleased with the activiites and we are glad to know that he is participating with the other residents. We would highly recommend this community to other families to this clean community with great care and value.

The community is great, it's small and has a homey feel to it. If people don't like the meals that they are serving they try to make them something they do like. The guy that runs the place lives there with his wife. There are a lot of really good things about Bristol Manor I cannot think of anything bad. The staff encourages everyone to get to know each other and to eat together in the dining room instead of their rooms. They have a living room where they could watch tv together. The reason I chose this one is because the rooms are very large. They provided furniture. They also keep her room very clean.

Mom is still adjusting to living at this community. The staff are helpful and we have good communication. She likes the food. They offer some daily activities and they keep the community clean. I would recommend this community. I wish mom could stay here, however she needs more care than they are able to provide for her.

My brother stay at this community was short, but it was a very good experience for him. His family loved this community, they were very impressed. The community looked great and very well-kept. The staff was great, they cared for him very well. There are nice activities offered for the residents. He was happy with his time here and that was the most important thing. I would highly recommend this community.

The overall experience that I have had with the Ashbury Heights so far has been exceptional. They are very outgoing and I like that it is a small, close atmosphere of residents. I have been very pleased.

I have been very pleased with Essex of Ozark. They are very personable and right on top of everything. They take really good care of my mother. The food is good, all the people are good, and it has just been a very good all around experience.

We had to place my mom in an assisted living that was able to care for Alzheimer's, Ashbury Heights was a perfect fit, one because it is a very small facility and they are like family. The first week was very hard on us kids and on our mom and they were so patient and understanding and would give hugs and tell her they loved her and was so happy she was there with them. I truly believe they made the difference in her excepting where she is. She will tell me today that she would never be able to stay if it wasn't for a friend she has already made there and Shannon (the manager).

Bristol Manor of Lamar did a great job overall. It was a nice looking, well kept, clean facility, and the people all seemed very friendly. They also serve some very good home-cooked food!

We love it and mom loves it, it's more homey than she is used to. We love Suzy and hate that she's leaving. It's perfect because of how small it is. She has found a rummy partner, so she stays busy. I liked that she is eating meals with someone rather than alone. She likes the food, and has even gained some weight. I get peace of mind too, because they administer her medicines. I knew it was the right place the first time I saw it.

The difference in my mom since she has come here is fantastic. Her medicine is regulated, she is eating normally again. They are very good. I think compared to other places the value is excellent. There are no nurses on staff, it's not really what I would call assisted living, they have a nurse and a doctor that visit regularly, but are not on staff there. They do have someone that is legal to dispense medications, and does a very good job.

We've been very pleased with everything at this community so far! The staff have all been very friendly and professional. Sandy, the director, in particular was a real sweetheart, and I definitely trust her to take great care of my Mom. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and the care and activities here seem to be very good as well.

He was not happy and he made that pretty well known. He tried to run away and at one point when my sister picked him up for church, he said "Either you take me home or I'm hitchhiking." This was really frustrating to us because he'd had a month to decide if this is what he wanted to do, and it was HIS IDEA up until the day the move was supposed to happen. He is 98 years old and had been living on his own, so I think this was just too big of a transition. I felt really bad for Elle and her staff. She and Susan, the lady who cooks, are both really nice people. The facility is clean, and they were very responsive and took good care of him. We were very disappointed in my father.

I liked the Essex property from the first time I went inside to take a tour. It smelled like home cooked food and everything was very neat and clean inside and out. The staff and residents are very friendly and welcoming. Mom has only lived at the facility just under 1 month, but has already made many new friends and settled into the routine. They provide housekeeping and laundry services and serve three meals a day. I toured other similar facilities, but the Essex stood out as a superior place for Mom and I couldn't be happier with their services. They provide superior care at an affordable rate.

It's a nice place. It just wasn't right for my mother. My mom has a lot more serious dementia than we thought and they just don't have the staff to accommodate someone who needs as much attention as she does but we really liked it there. It had a really homey atmosphere. The people there were great. Suzie, the manager there is very sweet and she was very attentive to mom. She didn't have the training to deal with dementia but she keeps the place really clean and mom was always clean and dressed and up. They don't have daily activities because they don't have enough staff. Mom just didn't fit in at Bristol Manor.

My loved one loves it here. The community feels homey and cozy for them, and exactly what they wanted. The rooms could be a bit bigger. They seem to be short on staff currently. The community has puzzles, games, and tv for the residents.
