My mom was there for only a week, she fell the first day. They took our money and did not provide the service they promised. She was in the hospital 3 times in one week. I would not recommend this community.

The community is not what there advertised. My room is not being cleaned once a week like they said they would. The laundry is also sometimes a problem. The food can get pretty slim towards the end of the month. I would recommend this community if they need a place to go.

We have been associated with this facility for several years now (7). We have experienced an unusual amount of employee turnover. We have made acquaintances with several facility managers. Some where able to endure the excessive hours and lack of help better than others. Most, not all, have begun their managing position with enthusiasm and expectations that over the course of vastly extended hours and days became demoralized and eventually left the position with disappointment, moving on with their career ambitions. We have not seen too much company support for the facility to make available activities for those living there. The cleanliness over the years has been from moderate to good. The dietary schedules have also been from moderate to good. As for the care services we have witnessed (through several managers) poor the excellent. At present we feel very confident with the in house facility management.

The meals are good and on time. Employees are very caring and do well by the residents. The building needs maintenance and improvements. The employees work very hard and I feel that at times, they need more help. New furniture was brought in sometime back, but that is the only improvement, I have witnessed recently. Last summer, the lawn wasn't maintained well. I am thankful, that we have an assisted living facility in our community, so we can see our loved one on a regular basis.

The community is charming. Our family member has lived at the facility for several years and we have been satisfied with the care.

Staff members are friendly and adaptable. Meals are usually on time. Peaceful environment.

More of a senior living with mild assistance. also no open rooms as of 4/21/18

We are not happy with Ashbury Heights our experience so far as not been good one. The place is not very clean I have my concerns about the up keeping of the community and it has't gotten better. The facility had one owner that did everything and she wasn't very good at and now there is a new owner and he very hard to understand and the residents aren't really taken well to him. The food is cooked by himself and it isn't that good, but he only cooks what he knows how to. We are waiting to see if things improve with this owner. The location of this community is not a good for our family and things haven't been very good here we are considering other places.

It was ok. Donna is friendly and answered my questions. It was clean; rooms are pretty spacious. The one staff member I met was young, sweet.

Bristol Manor's promotional page is not completely truthful ! At least not with what I know about the location I'm familiar with. They mention healthy meals, I would not consider bologna sandwiches and chips especially healthy which they are often served for lunch. They also mention numerous activities, at this location there are few to no activities or no participation. Also mentioned is help with medications, due to lack of communication or other issues my relative there has had several medication discrepancies. The building is also older and minimally maintained For a lower budget type facility, the overall quality is also low. And what is especially alarming is the employees are currently not required to wear face masks around the residents. With the continuous spread of the covid virus all residential care facility's should require employees to wear masks!

Our family has been pleased with the facility. Good meals and clean rooms.

We toured this community. It is a smaller community with not a lot of residents. We were happy to have our questions answered by the care. We did not like seeing other residents outside smoking. they have home cooked meals, This community needs some assistance with the care and responsibilities of the residents. Families might consider taking a tour of this community.

Not the best but not the worst. Yeah they have bed bugs but that's because they do not keep the residents rooms clean like they should. And the residents hygiene is horrible and staff does not address it like they should and corporate does not help out staff to help reinforce that. After having bed bugs for a month they finally got around to taking care of the situation. They've been cited by state for numerous times for bed bugs. They've been through several admins and have had troubles with those administrators stealing medications from residents. Current admin is doing the best they can to get the place back in shape and is by far one of the better admins that I have seen. Bristol has a long way to go to get back into shape but I believe that they can. With the right people in place and I believe that starts with the administrator. And the district supervisor. And right now they have that going for them.

The language used by staff in front of the residence is not acceptable! One of the positives about this facility is my loved one has their own bathroom, we did not find that at other places we looked.

I was disappointed by the tour and it didn't look clean. I knew within minutes of walking in I wouldn't feel comfortable placing my loved one here.

Assisted living & memory care residents mixed in 12 bed facility, so memory care residents have to be able to find their way to correct Fire exit during Fire drill with loud alarm and fire system lights, this facility would not work for a person who's Alzheimer's has progressed and often needs clues or re-directing to function in a home environment. No secure outside area for memory care residents whom are apt to wander.

What is going on at Bristol Manor in Oak Grove? It has become so rundown in the past two months. Staff taking blood at the dinner table with other residents there. HIPAA Violation! Manager laying in bed with other staff and when my brother knocked on door to tell them he was bringing my mother back, one of them yelled “she was saying she doesn’t need any f—-ing help”. I guess they thought it was a resident or something. Kids there with staff most of the time, creating an unsafe environment - For the kids also. Trash in parking lot and by doors. Bugs inside of back door by roach trap not cleaned up. Knocked on door when one resident fell and managers spouse yelled “what do you want”? In a loud, harsh voice. Told them someone fell down and they did come out and help. Bring back [name removed] and give her a big raise! She was serious about following the rules and making sure things were the best they could be!wasnt a commune environment with everyone sleeping there.
