Bethesda Senior Living Communities

We liked it enough that that is where my friend now resides. It was the fourth facility we toured and it seemed to put more "assist" into the "assisted living" .

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff is at this community. The community is clean and well taken care of. The food is not that great. They offer a variety of activities to enjoy.

As a family member with a long term resident at Villagio, I find it saddening that people put such tacky reviews to their experience at Villagio. I have seen first hand the way some family members treat and talk to the staff and I can assure you that if I had any job where I was treated and disrespected that badly, then I would quit also. I applaud the staff and management at Villagio of Carrollton and would recommend them to any friend or loved one. If I felt that my loved one was living somewhere that was as bad as some of these reviews claim, I can assure you that I would not let them continue living there, especially for 5 years.

This community has nice, welcoming staff. It is kept clean all around the place. There are activities but my dad has not stayed long enough to be interested. My dad enjoys the food. I would recommend this community to any one who needs assistance.

My mother is 90 years old and had reached the point that she needed more care than could be provided in her home. After months of research (A Place for Mom was a tremendous resource!), I chose The Gardens at Barry Road for several reasons. It is very close to all our family, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly and most have been there for many years, which says a lot to me, and during my research I learned of several people I know who had relatives or friends there at one time or another and all of them spoke very highly of The Gardens. There have been a few glitches with scheduling some personal care services, but overall a very positive experience. My mother was not in favor of the move (to be expected), but she has settled in very well, has made friends, and is doing extremely well in her new home.

Our experience with Autumn View Gardens has been a very positive one, overall! It's a very nice looking place, and the people here all seem very friendly and caring. I toured quite a few places in the area and Autumn View really stood out in terms of the level of care and service they provide. Really my only complaint is that I think the evening meals they serve could be a bit better, but other than that I've been very impressed by everything here!

We're very pleased with how things have gone at Bethesda Gardens, I'd give them high marks across the board. It's a nice looking place, and although the move-in was a bit rocky my parents seem to have settled in well. The people here are friendly and professional, and while I do think some of their admin processes leave a little to be desired, overall it is a very nice place.

All the people at Bethesda have been wonderful in helping my mother in law become part of their community. They have answered endless questions from us and my father in law and helped ease our transition.

The staff was very friendly and genuinely cared about my mother. At times responses to her needs were a little slower than we would have liked but this is an assisted living facility not a nursing home. The staff did a nice job of keeping up with her medicine. They were knowledgeable about her activities, eating habits and any concerns I had. They also made her feel welcome and part of the Autumn View community. One very nice feature is each apartment has a patio, so she could go outside easily, which was a big bonus for taking care of her dog, who lived with her there. She had a very smooth transition from her private home to Autumn View. We were very pleased with our experience.

Beautiful building, close to shopping which is important to my mom. Close to I-25, important to me. The staff was very friendly and genuine in their concern for the residents well-being. Like the fact that it is a non-profit.

Bethesda Gardens is a bright and homey living option. We enjoy the personal service, the maintenance, and the convenience of the building layout. The halls are warm and bright,and the apartments have much natural light with lovely natural views.

nice and clean, 3 wonderful meals included daily, apartment cleaning and laundry included weekly, activities and "field trips" daily, expanded package cable TV included - phone is the only thing not included but the price is very reasonable compared to other places

My father had to move into an assisted living residence quite unexpectedly. And we're we fortunate. I couldn't be happier with the facilities nd staff. He gets specialized personal care round the clock. The staff is so friendly and caring. They are always close by with their personal assistance. The activities are varied and frequent. They have worked with us to accommodate Dad with the best rooms available for his needs. What I appreciate is that we aren't nickel and dimed for every service they perform. The monthly price includes everything! No additional or hidden charges! They even take care of his medications so that aren't monthly trips to a pharmacy. They have one in-house! We couldn't be more happy with Autumn View Gardens! We would recommend it to anyone looking for a place where they know their loved ones will be taken good care of!

Bethesda Gardens has been. Perfect place for my mother -in-law. It's clean and comfortable and they take good care of her. They allow her to do what she can on her own and step in when needed. The staff at Bethesda Gardens has gone the extra mile to be sure our family member feels loved and cared for. While she was in a skilled nursing facility, the staff nurse, Barbara went to visit with her. She assured her that she was missed and they were anxious to have her home.

Dad is very happy at Autumn View Gardens. He is 93 and has a few medical issues, but they have multiple people onsite who provide 24-hour care. He also has medication management for an extra fee, but it's worth it. He gets all of his meals in the dining room, and they have a great menu. There is always something to eat. If you don't like the entrée, you can choose something like a cheeseburger, salad, or soup. He enjoys the company of the other residents, and people are friendly and say hello because they're all kind of in the same boat. The staff is very good to him. He also receives physical therapy occasionally. Since he's been there, he has had to go to the hospital, and they handled everything beautifully. They got him into the ambulance, took care of everything very efficiently, and when he was ready to return, they checked on him and made sure he was good to come back to the community. He really likes it there. They have activities, and while he's not big on participating, he'll play bingo and listen to music. He's not interested in outings like trips to Walmart, but they do offer different outings for residents. I would say it's a really good fit for him. It's not too fancy, but it is definitely well maintained. He has a studio apartment with his own bathroom, a nice shower, and a small kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, counter, cabinets, and dishes. I bring him little things like Boost drinks and bottled water, but there is also a water station right down the hall where he can fill up a water bottle. Overall, his needs are being met, and he's not lonely anymore.

When we toured this place, we were very impressed with everything about it. It was clean, friendly, spacious. Everything I think my parents would love.

Most things are good. always difficult to stay hydrated in Colorado. Doesn't get as much exercise as I'd like. Could be a little more protein in the meals. Overall really good though. I would recommend to others.

Greeted by friendly but distracted staff. Told me history of building which is interesting, a bit unique for area, but does seem to work well for residents/staff. Beautiful 'wild' grounds with walking paths and seating. As staff explained to me, they don't offer many options for exercise, group activities, etc. since ,most residents would rather be outside in nature with trees, wild grasses, etc. The whole living area is not as over-furnished and decorated as some other residences I have visited, but I felt very relaxed there. It is quiet and there are many sitting areas with 2-4 chairs just waiting to be discovered.

Whether I would recommend this community really depends on the personality and preferences of the individual. Someone who is outgoing, social, and enjoys participating in activities would likely do very well here. That said, there are also many quieter and less social residents who seem perfectly happy and comfortable in the community. Overall, it can be a good fit for different personality types depending on what someone is looking for in senior living

This facility was always bright and assist, with an extremely helpful staff. When my Aunt's time came to leave this world, they were very compassionate.
