Bethesda Senior Living Communities

My father is doing really well, he is adjusting and the staff has been very helpful. The facility is clean and organized. What we liked most about this place while choosing was the availability and price. Also, we liked the fact that it is all on one floor, so we don't have to worry about stairs.

The entire staff at this community are easy to get along with and seem to like their job. They have a low turnover rate. The caregivers are encouraging. The food is great and they do a great job with activities. This is one of the cleanest communities I have seen. This is a not for profit community. Any profit they may receive is used towards mission trips overseas.

The community is a great place and has fantastic staff who provide care for the residents. Although it cost greatly, it has been worth it. I like how excellent and friendly every staff has been with grasping Alzheimer, we liked the community for my mom. She was cared for very well and she loved it.

Since my mother has made the move into this community she has made a lot of improvements including her social skills. She has involved her self with all of the great activities they have to offer throughout the week and really enjoys the company of the other residents. All of the staff make you feel like an extended family. They all know my name and make sure to keep in good contact with me about any updates or concerns of my mom. Overall I am very pleased with her experience so far.

We liked it enough that that is where my friend now resides. It was the fourth facility we toured and it seemed to put more "assist" into the "assisted living" .

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff is at this community. The community is clean and well taken care of. The food is not that great. They offer a variety of activities to enjoy.

As a family member with a long term resident at Villagio, I find it saddening that people put such tacky reviews to their experience at Villagio. I have seen first hand the way some family members treat and talk to the staff and I can assure you that if I had any job where I was treated and disrespected that badly, then I would quit also. I applaud the staff and management at Villagio of Carrollton and would recommend them to any friend or loved one. If I felt that my loved one was living somewhere that was as bad as some of these reviews claim, I can assure you that I would not let them continue living there, especially for 5 years.

This community has nice, welcoming staff. It is kept clean all around the place. There are activities but my dad has not stayed long enough to be interested. My dad enjoys the food. I would recommend this community to any one who needs assistance.

My mother is 90 years old and had reached the point that she needed more care than could be provided in her home. After months of research (A Place for Mom was a tremendous resource!), I chose The Gardens at Barry Road for several reasons. It is very close to all our family, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly and most have been there for many years, which says a lot to me, and during my research I learned of several people I know who had relatives or friends there at one time or another and all of them spoke very highly of The Gardens. There have been a few glitches with scheduling some personal care services, but overall a very positive experience. My mother was not in favor of the move (to be expected), but she has settled in very well, has made friends, and is doing extremely well in her new home.

Our experience with Autumn View Gardens has been a very positive one, overall! It's a very nice looking place, and the people here all seem very friendly and caring. I toured quite a few places in the area and Autumn View really stood out in terms of the level of care and service they provide. Really my only complaint is that I think the evening meals they serve could be a bit better, but other than that I've been very impressed by everything here!

We're very pleased with how things have gone at Bethesda Gardens, I'd give them high marks across the board. It's a nice looking place, and although the move-in was a bit rocky my parents seem to have settled in well. The people here are friendly and professional, and while I do think some of their admin processes leave a little to be desired, overall it is a very nice place.

All the people at Bethesda have been wonderful in helping my mother in law become part of their community. They have answered endless questions from us and my father in law and helped ease our transition.

The staff was very friendly and genuinely cared about my mother. At times responses to her needs were a little slower than we would have liked but this is an assisted living facility not a nursing home. The staff did a nice job of keeping up with her medicine. They were knowledgeable about her activities, eating habits and any concerns I had. They also made her feel welcome and part of the Autumn View community. One very nice feature is each apartment has a patio, so she could go outside easily, which was a big bonus for taking care of her dog, who lived with her there. She had a very smooth transition from her private home to Autumn View. We were very pleased with our experience.

Beautiful building, close to shopping which is important to my mom. Close to I-25, important to me. The staff was very friendly and genuine in their concern for the residents well-being. Like the fact that it is a non-profit.

Bethesda Gardens is a bright and homey living option. We enjoy the personal service, the maintenance, and the convenience of the building layout. The halls are warm and bright,and the apartments have much natural light with lovely natural views.

nice and clean, 3 wonderful meals included daily, apartment cleaning and laundry included weekly, activities and "field trips" daily, expanded package cable TV included - phone is the only thing not included but the price is very reasonable compared to other places

My father had to move into an assisted living residence quite unexpectedly. And we're we fortunate. I couldn't be happier with the facilities nd staff. He gets specialized personal care round the clock. The staff is so friendly and caring. They are always close by with their personal assistance. The activities are varied and frequent. They have worked with us to accommodate Dad with the best rooms available for his needs. What I appreciate is that we aren't nickel and dimed for every service they perform. The monthly price includes everything! No additional or hidden charges! They even take care of his medications so that aren't monthly trips to a pharmacy. They have one in-house! We couldn't be more happy with Autumn View Gardens! We would recommend it to anyone looking for a place where they know their loved ones will be taken good care of!

Staff is very attentive to residents needs, any staff member encountered is resident first. Always willing to help and the piece of mind that gives me is unmeasurable. Everyone wants a place close to home for convenience of traveling back and forth to see your loved one. What we need to be focused on is how our loved ones are being treated with respect and dignity as an individual and not just another resident. Autumn View Gardens on Schuetz rd has been a great decision for my brother and I. Would highly recommend. The call made to A Place For Mom was an immense help in getting things started with lists of places in the area. Please make sure you do your part in checking these places out first to find a place for your loved ones.

My dad has enjoyed his experience so far. The only thing is I wish they would have like a welcome community and introduce each other. Over all it is a great place and really happy with the staff

Medication adjustments seem to take a while to happen. Meaning the time frame between when mention is made till a doctor gets scheduled till they get it changed in their system seems to take a while. I think that the food is always good it's just that for my dad wearing dentures a lot of times the food is not something he is able to really chew and you would think that their potentially are others living there that have dentures or teeth issues. The staff is always very friendly and very caring with my dad and always engage with me and remember if I was headed out of town or something I was doing and ask about it so that is nice.
