Very nice facility - smaller than reg homes. Doesn’t feel like a nursing home. No smells which is great

Overall I'd give it a 5 for cleanliness, as well as the attentiveness and friendliness of all staff members. They offered a variety of activities that residents could participate in if they chose. The apartment was the perfect size for my sister, understanding of course that the size is up to the individual living there.

The representative showed us around and went over everything and was very helpful and friendly. The facility was clean and decorated nicely. Residents were playing games and waiting for an activity to begin. It is a very nice place.

[name removed] gave me the tour and I found her to be warm and very helpful. The facility is clean and bright. I was impressed with the activities and the food options available to residents. I found their prices to be competitive. This location is probably too far from our family members and medical providers. However, I would recommend it to anyone.

The staff are all very nice and helpful. The food seems to be good, my mom enjoys it. There are a variety of activities and she does several of them. It keeps her busy.

I was pleased with the people that helped me see and understand their facilities and how they worked with the people in residence there. I have one or two more facilities to check out and I then plan to meet with my attorney on the [date removed] to make sure I am doing everything I should be doing. I will update you after I meet with the attorney.

What we like the most about the community is that It is a safe place for our mom. It is close to most all of us. The staff seems to be friendly to everyone. Yes, we would recommend The Gardens at Barry Road community to other families.

This is a beautiful place. We toured the Memory Care side of this Senior Living facility. It has a homey feel, not at all like an institution. We did have a hard time getting calls returned from the marketing side, and that was frustrating. We have chosen to place our family member here and feel good about this decision.

The facility is beautiful, clean and fresh. The meal was like a 5-star restaurant! (I imagine new residents gain at least 5 pounds!) The staff was amazing and treated us like family. They are very genuine and driven to help the residents in every way. We were visiting with a resident and they brought her medicine to her since she wasn’t in her room. I think this is a perfect match for my 91 year old friend!

Value for cost would be a 3, reason I say that is because initial when we first inquired it's was $[removed]less and did not know it would increase $[removed]starting the new year. Fixed incomes don't increase $[removed] year over year. We are waiting on [community removed] so hopefully it will ease the cost increase.

Warm,friendly,and the your manager was awesome and clarifying. A wonderful inviting experience. A full understanding of the needs and possibilities for my parent. Good resources and assistance. A pleasant experience. Enjoyed seeing an excellent facility at a good rate. Security. Level of care. Room review and meals and activities were all well toured and explained. Services at Collinwood are all encompassing and the atmosphere is conducive to a warm and stimulating environment.

Clean with good care and staff. I would recommend to others.

Mom seems pretty happy there and everyone has been nice and helpful. We have a tight budget, so Life stream was the logical choice. Mom likes the Youngtown location too, but that one requires walking outside to get to dining, and Sun City is easier and safer for her to get around with a walker.

5 on all. Very pleased with all facets. Director of facility is very knowledgeable and listens to needs and helps find the right housing solution. Facility is well maintained and very clean. Food from what I hear is decent. Only have breakfast and lunch but a lot of residents eat half and take the other half back for dinner. Pricing is very reasonable for the amenities you get.

The staff is friendly & responsive & help to understand what needs to be done.

My mom was very apprehensive about moving into the facility because she did not know anyone there. That was all quashed on her first day when she went to lunch. All the residents and staff were so friendly and super helpful. She has met so many wonderful people. There are several activities everyday and she loves the food! She has settled in nicely and is loving living there.

Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The activities schedule is incredible and meets the needs of all abilities.
