Bethesda Senior Living Communities

It's a lot of money but I think it's probably average for what assisted living costs. Staff are very friendly and nice, good care. My mom enjoys the activities and meals. I feel good with her being there. She has the 1 bedroom with a little living room and it's just right for her.

This place is amazing! Besides management, the staff overall is kind, patient, and truly treats every resident like family. Their care and compassion mean everything! Truly a great company families could trust with their loved ones. Highly recommend!

Everyone that I have met is very friendly. So far everyone is older than me and they all have fun with each other and with the activities they have here. We chose this community because of the Close proximity to doctors offices and closer to my kids and grandchildren.

It is a wonderful faith based facility that lives their mission everyday. The room sizes are great - the 'suite' felt like a mini apartment with a kitchenette, seating area bath and bed area. The only questionable thing was having full carpet in living areas vs some type of hard surface covering. In a true and astonishing story: i moved her from a more expensive place where her care was adequate, but not outstanding. not long after her relocation (as noticed by several people) she actually improved! her demeanor, countenance and attitude was up lifted. I also think she was just plain happier:)

I struggle to find my father a place until I found The Gardens @ Barry Road. The first time I walked in with Dad I knew that this was the place where he would be cared for. The staff is amazing, they listen, they are very friendly with the residents. I absolutely love how each of the staff members acknowledge visitors and make them feel welcome. The meals provided our delicious and there are so many options to choose from. This is one place that I have ever felt comfortable with the care provided for my dad.

Have mom living at the Gardens at Barry Road. They offer the best amenities, trained staff and well tailored food of any Senior care facility I ever visited. I absolutely hate having to place mom outside our home and I continue to struggle with my decision, yet it is obvious she is getting the care she needs from these great people.

My parents were at The Gardens briefly a few years ago until Mom needed memory care (and there wasn’t any room at Thw Gardens so we had to move facilities). Recently, my dad has needed more care / oversight and since mom’s passing, has been very lonely. He is really enjoying his time there again. There have been a few hiccups but the staff are easy to work with and easy to approach with questions and concerns.

I would recommend to others and I have already. We were attracted to them because of the professionalism of the staff, smaller than others I saw ( I liked one floor), a warm feeling, the décor, clean, and all activities offered.

My father-in-law was in the hospital prior to his move. Having a place that did a virtual tour which worked for both of us. They were willing to take the contract to him or provide transportation to and from his old place so he could finally look at the place in person. They really were great to make him feel welcome. The discounted rate, the meals included, activities, transportation to doctor appointments, and cleaning were huge pluses for my husband and me. Yes definitely would recommend to others. My father/in-law said that they just raised the rent prices and many of his other friends have had to leave. I'm hoping the prices don't increase too much as elderly people are on fixed incomes.

I am very satisfied with Carrollton Gardens. My Dad has been there a little over a month. The staff has been great and he was welcomed with open arms. The residents are very nice too and he’s fitting in great. He likes the food and the activities too. It’s really great for him to be social again. A+++ after 30 days! Thank you for helping me find this wonderful facility.

My mother [name removed] is a resident of Bethesda Gardens! She loves it there! The activities director, director, & care partners are all wonderful & empathetic… The chef & all the kitchen staff provide delicious meals!!

I picked them because of the staff attitude, openness of grounds ,apts. I would recommend to others.

This is a small community where a good number of apartments open into secure outdoor areas. This was very important for my Mom and a big reason we chose this community. They get to know the people and their families. They are very responsive to request or to resolve any issues or concerns. They are on the pricier side, but as my mom always taught me, “you get what you pay for”. Bethesda has allowed my Mom to have as much independence as possible while keeping her safe and this gives me tremendous peace

I checked into countless facilities for my 90+ mom, some of which were referred to me as being the very best. End of day, none could really compete with Bethesda. This is a lovely faith-based facility that when presented to Mom along with other options, she only wanted to be here. Then when plans to move her got a little bumpy, staff went above and beyond to help and made it happen smoothly. All staff, whether nursing, cleaning, cooking or administrative, is phenomenal. Mom loves them all and says "they are the nicest and most helpful people." The activities are great and varied (she really loves music days), and the services/amenities are bountiful. They even offer weekly trips out to go shopping. I like the beautiful well-lit dining hall that overlooks two courtyards. This is a lovely and welcoming place for Mom to socialize 3 times a day in addition to all the other activity options. If you have a loved one that needs assisted living, you can feel at peace placing her (or him) here.

We moved my sweet dad in a little over a year ago. He was no longer able to live alone and mu husband and I were no longer able to care for him. We are so thankful to have found Bethesda Gardens! The staff there is wonderful to work with… all very caring and sweet. They are gentle and respectful to my dad as they encourage him to do as much as he can, but they are ready and willing to help him with anything he needs help with. They are encouraging, kind, precious! Also, the staff is professional, respectful, and responsive to my husband and me when we come to visit or if we need to address any issues that have come up. Those problems are always taken care of quickly and even in those situations our conversations have been positive. I would highly recommend Bethesda Gardens!

Bethesda Gardens is a lovely assisted living facility. It is well managed and maintained. The administration and staff is wonderful, caring, attentive and interactive with my mom. I know my mom is very happy and loves her neighbors - the BG lovely residents. Also, the activities are thoughtfully planned, well-executed, and attended by many residents. BG has been and hopefully will continue to be a blessing for my family in the years to come. I am very grateful to have found it!

My mom has been at Bethesda Frisco for just over three years. During that time we have seen nothing but improvements. We were never unhappy with the care that Mom received, but since Sumner came on board, we have seen better care, more consistent staff, and better communication with families. I highly recommend taking a look. I wish they would open their memory care section…it has been promised since Oct, 2021, but ground has never been broken. Mom’s needs are changing (as we knew they would), and I am sad to think about having to leave the Bethesda Frisco family.

A very warm and friendly community for seniors. I always hear how great the food is and care. It’s nice how they keep activities going in that it provides joy and entertainment to its residents. Nice location and the best staff

I was from a bad place to here and was very extremely Lucky to have found lifestream Glendale!!! Staff and resides alike were very and still are friendly and helpful!!! This was heaven sent for me and still thriving !!!! I font know what would’ve happen to Me if I did not come here!! This is A very caring. And loving place!
