Bethesda Senior Living Communities

Bethesda was overall wonderful. The community was amazing. The head nurses are phenomenal. The atmosphere is welcoming and rooms are updated and nice! The only negative was that one of the nurse assistants stole prescription pain medication (Fentanyl) from my father. And another employee stole $[removed] cash out of his wallet. So recommend that everyone have cameras installed. Once I did this, the theft stopped. My father has since passed. But I still would recommend Bethesda.

Mom loved it there. She said she never imagined she’d live in such a nice place. The staff were amazing. The residents were so friendly. She was so happy there. The Gardens are so clean and have so many activities. When I get that old that’s where I will go. She loved the food, kindness, caring and loving people there. Unfortunately mom [name removed] only was able to live at The Gardens for a little over 4 1/2 months. She passed away [date removed] in her little piece of heaven there. While she was in her final stage of life so many staff and residents came to pray with her, give her hugs and were so kind to our family.

Rooms are comfortable and sufficient room for dressers, bed, couch, table, and chairs. The food is very good and there is Sufficient amount of food in the two meals that are provided to easily last all day. All of the staff that I have encountered are pleasant and Helpful.

All the people at the Gardens have been wonderful. They are very well organized and have everything to make aove as smooth as possible. I have recommended this place to friends. They have also moved their family members to this facility.

5 on all categories truthfully. They are attentive, caring, and always friendly. The meals are enjoyed by my mom. The place is clean. They clean my mom's apt. I am very pleased right now. Based on the experience we have had so far, we definitely would recommend Autumn View to other families.

I LOVE my place at LifeStream. It is a blessing for me. The staff are great.

I was looking for a senior facility for my mother have independent living. I needed a place friendly, clean, social, and beautiful. This place fit all of those needs. My mother fit right in and made close friends right away. The food has been good enough. There has been some complaints but they took the time to listen to the residents and fix the menue. The free wi fi and cable have been a plus and money saver as well.... I visit often and enjoy being there. They are currently remodeling the front area and is a little bit of a mess, however I know the end result will be beyond amazing. Excellent home.

Staff are all down to earth, fun and "get it" when it comes to the nuances of aging. They've taken steps above and beyond. She is well cared for and as close to happy as she can be being away from our house. I absolutely recommend Hickory Villa.

This place is amazing! The facility is beautiful, clean and very reasonably priced. Lesa and Ashley were amazing in helping us navigate and pull everything together to get my mom situated in her new room. All the staff is so caring and nice. Good food and menu was awesome. My SIL and I called it the club med of senior living! If I could put in a reservation now for myself one day I would! Very pleased with the Gardens.

I would recommend them.

faith based concern/care with resident & their family responsive engaging nice place to call home Food was very bland which may be the norm for an aging population/ i believe (not confirmed) it prepared at the same time the assisted living side is served, then the memory care are served so it often seems 'warmed over' although, i have only eaten there a few times. the last time i was there she was prepared a burger since she didn't like/ear what was being served and it seemed fresher

I always tell people this: The size of her apartment is perfect for one person. The building is super clean and I love how the folks get to personalize their shelves outside. The special touches, like the cloth napkins, in the dining area make it feel "homey". The activity schedule is full with a variety of things ~ something for everyone. If they don't stay busy, or if they feel lonely, it's on them.

We chose Lifestream because we were so impressed with the community and staff. Location is convenient as well. The facility is AMAZING. Staff is incredibly caring and take amazing care of the facility and their residents. They offer weekly outings, on site activities and overall the community has a 'family' feeling. No negative issues whatsoever! Also... no one seems burned out! All the staff I've interacted with seem 'present'. All the staff truly care about their residents and it shows. Even the handyman who addresses any issues like fixing things etc is available daily.

They were great and super helpful! The value for the money is great and it really feels like home.

The staff are very kind. They have a button that must be pressed by a certain time otherwise staff will come do a wellness check. They treat the residents like family, they have a birthday calendar and my father-in-law just had his birthday yesterday and the residents and staff sang happy birthday at lunch to him. The housekeeping is great! They come in and do a deep clean once a month. Everything was spotless after the cleaning. (This was one of my high points of why we wanted a place like this. We wanted to know that he would be living in a clean apartment.) The food is okay. They have huge portions, so you could take some back for dinner if you wanted. He says that sometimes the residents complain about the food. Honestly I want to know he's eating each day something healthy and they do that. Sometimes that food may not be exactly what they want, but it meets our needs to ensure he has something healthy to eat each day. The moving in process was fantastic. [Name removed] brought lunch and snacks up to my father-in-law when he moved in, incase he wasn't up to going down to lunch for the day. Overall, my father-in-law loves this place. He says he has so many friends and they get together to play games and hang out. He says that there is night and day difference between where he lived before and now. We are grateful that we found a place that meets so many of our needs and he loves living there.

We did some price comparisons online and over the phone but The Gardens was the only place we really looked at because we liked the price the bset. They are all very friendly and helpful.

I don't think anyone's ever ready to see their loved one move out of their home into assisted living or memory care. Autumn View Gardens made my Mother's transition from her home at the age of 84, to their small community, easy and efficient. There is a attention to detail with everything they do there and I can appreciate that since I live out of town and am not able to be there all the time. Many have asked me how my Mother is doing since she moved in 3 months ago and I say that we have not had any complaints. The nursing staff is communicative and so are the other people who work there. I felt like when my Mother moved in, that she would be safe. I appreciate the family at Autumn View Gardens.
