Bethesda Gardens is a bright and homey living option. We enjoy the personal service, the maintenance, and the convenience of the building layout. The halls are warm and bright,and the apartments have much natural light with lovely natural views.

nice and clean, 3 wonderful meals included daily, apartment cleaning and laundry included weekly, activities and "field trips" daily, expanded package cable TV included - phone is the only thing not included but the price is very reasonable compared to other places

My father had to move into an assisted living residence quite unexpectedly. And we're we fortunate. I couldn't be happier with the facilities nd staff. He gets specialized personal care round the clock. The staff is so friendly and caring. They are always close by with their personal assistance. The activities are varied and frequent. They have worked with us to accommodate Dad with the best rooms available for his needs. What I appreciate is that we aren't nickel and dimed for every service they perform. The monthly price includes everything! No additional or hidden charges! They even take care of his medications so that aren't monthly trips to a pharmacy. They have one in-house! We couldn't be more happy with Autumn View Gardens! We would recommend it to anyone looking for a place where they know their loved ones will be taken good care of!

I moved into to The Gardens the end of September. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Moving in or out anywhere is a very trying situation so i am very grateful for the friendliness of the community. Moving is a big adjustment but with all the activities you get to meet a little of people who are willing to help if needed. I believe my decision to move to The Gardens was the best one at the time for me.

Bethesda gardens is a good place for the price level. Love the woman, [name removed], who manages the front ( sign in ) desk. [name removed] the activities director and [name removed] are also great. We also appreciate [name removed]( first name) In nursing department as well. Seems like the maintenance department is quick to respond and thorough too. We like how Bethesda Gardens orders , refills, and dispenses all of mom's meds several times daily as well. We really love the fact that all ( most?) Bethesda Gardens rooms have a front door which leads to indoor hallway AND a back door with a wooden door and a security all-glass door that leads to either a sm porch or the courtyard filled with sidewalks , trees, flowers, ... we LOVE the back door! It makes a place much more like a home. She can open her wooden back door and allow the light and view in through the glass door. They are allowed to have pets there and Mom's cat , Trixie, loves looking out the door. Some rooms overlook a field filled with little bunnies hopping around at dusk and dawn.

There is always room for improvement. Overall, it has been a great environment for Dean's mom. The apartment sizes are great. She seems to like the food. The staff that we have interacted with are wonderful. The only other feedback for improvement would be to have some communication about outside services that we get billed for. I'm talking about the podiatrist, it would be helpful to have some kind of confirmation of service so we know that the billing is valid.

My mother in law enjoyed the staff and activities. The food was ok. I thought their meals were a little high in carbs and sugar for people with memory issues, but they did make clear that they did not provide a therapeutic diet so that was to be expected.

My Mom really liked it there. Her studio had a balcony and she really liked that. It does need to be upgraded in certain areas, but all in all she really enjoyed it there

Unfortunately, [name removed] did not adapt well to the environment. She also had a setback that forced us to find a higher level of care for her. I would still say it is a good place if the elderly person is of the right mindset. In our case, we were very frustrated in the end. We felt like that they did not work with her at the level that they had let us to believe that they would. We had to move her into a higher level of care though so that might be the reason why. Overall, we thought Bethesda was a very nice facility with a lower turnover rate in employees. That seems to be a constant in all nursing homes at all levels. The turnover of employees is pretty astounding.

Staff's interest and care of the residents. Yes we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

My experience has been good. The staff seems to care and take good care of dad. They've addressed anything that I've needed and the food seems good so our experience overall has been a wonderful experience

I liked having a receptionist and sign in/out. Layout of the gardens from entry to dining area is very inviting, clean, food wasn't bad, liked being able to "run a tab" so we could eat w/mom. Didn't like the pharmacy used-take advantage of convenience of delivery etc and prices were crazy. Mom enjoy daily excercise class and staff was pleasant. I loved being able to ring the dog for visits too! Other residents enjoyed as well!!

Overall this is a very nice community - clean, spacious, attractive, with a beautiful dining room, attractive private or shared rooms, and staff that really seem to care about your loved ones' health and wellbeing. And The Gardens at Broadmoor Court is noticeably cheaper than our last facility. My only desire is that perhaps they hire a few more administrative staff. This place is understandably popular and seems to be hopping most of the time, so the staff sometimes seem like they're rushing to keep up. Still they do a great job with what they have and I'm very happy we moved my grandmother here, even if she says the food is just "okay". I've tried it several times and think it's actually pretty good.

I give the health in the food quality is poor. Other than that it is good. I loved it until I found out the food was making us sicker. I would rate it a 4 star or less until I can get the food nutrition quality improved. I am working on that. So a 3 or 4 because the food is not the quality it was advertised to be and it wasn't straight forward . I pray for changes soon.

They are excellent, with a couple of minor glitches. Almost 5! Everyone, from nursing to dining staff to maintenance is so very caring, and will troubleshoot with you about solutions to problems. Activities are great. The most like "home" of anyplace we visited.

I have had no negative interactions and observed no negligent actions to date. Everyone I have encountered has been courteous and committed to the residents. They contact me often with care needs and medical concerns of my father. I have no major complaints.

My mom is happy here. The staff is wonderful, especially her aide, [name removed]. Right now they don't have an activity director, and she misses exercise classes. They are hiring a replacement. [name removed] at the front desk is amazing. The food (which is such an important part of daily activity) doesn't have a lot of variety. Overall, thought, it's a great value and we are satisfied.

What they could improve on would be Contact information for everyone that works there; Name, email, phone. Or at least the administration contacts. Maybe Schedule of activities posted on web page or bulletin board at the entrance. Bulletin board maybe somewhere already, not sure

It's a great place to be. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. They don't do light housekeeping like I was told when I moved my mother in. Other than that...that is my only "gripe" with the facility. Pricing was the main reason we chose this facility. There is not an upcharge depending on the level of care.

The environment is very laid back, there are lots of families coming and going. The apartments are basic, but very nice. The dining experience is always busy and friendly.
