Bethesda Senior Living Communities

My Mom really likes Autumn View and I do too. It's safe and clean and the food is good and the staff is friendly. They have a lot of nice activities and a wide variety of food is available.

Our loved one seems to like this place a lot, and we've been very pleased with the service so far! The staff have all been very friendly, and the food has been good overall as well. We haven't had any issues with security, we feel like our loved one is safe here. The other residents in the community are very friendly and seem very sociable.

I am very happy with the people there. She is now on hospice, but she is allowed to stay at Hickory and she is using the hospice care that they recommended. We moved her in in August and she just got out of a 3 week stint in the hospital. Even after this, the staff has already bonded with her. They called right away when they noticed that something was wrong. Hickory is a smaller facility, probably only about 50 units. When I first walked it, it reminded me of the atmosphere of embassy suites. There were skylights and an open atria in the front. There is no hospital smell. If my mom would have had to go on Medicaid, she could have stayed in her same room.

We were looking for an assisted living facility for my Dad who we were relocating from Florida. The staff were friendly, and very helpful.

My experience with Autumn View Gardens has been wonderful. We moved my mother in two weeks ago Monday, and what made it stand out [removed] it was in my price range; the size was appropriate; and the people were very accommodating. It just fit. I highly recommend it - it's been a very smooth transition for my mother. Everything was just perfect. Nothing was out of place. We've had no problems whatsoever. My husband's aunt has been commenting on how much nicer my mother's new apartment is than her old one, and it's a smaller apartment than her last one! There's always 3 nurses in the office at a time - I don't know if they're RN's or CNA's, but everytime I see them, they're working. No one's sitting around. The activities have been lacking lately because the activities director is just getting back from medical leave, so now they're picking back up again.

We chose this community because the staff really pays attention is and is very helpful to their residents and any visitors. My mother used to have a lot of panic attacks and tries to leave the community and the staff is so attentive that she has not become comfortable being there. Deciding on this community was almost like hiring a private nurse. The food is excellent, the care is excellent, and the doctor is wonderful everything is just excellent. I can't say enough good things about Bethesda Gardens. The staff calls me by name every time I am visiting. They really know what they are doing and go beyond to make it better. I literally looked and research at every assisted living community in the Arlington area and Bethesda Gardens really outshined the rest. I am a very particular customer when it comes to my mothers care and I am very pleased and could not be happier. I enjoy this community so much that when the time comes I would love to move myself in. I would highly recommend this community to my closed friends and family.

The grounds are beautiful and the food smells good. The people are friendly and speak to everyone and they make it a point to know their names. They use the same caregiver staff so everything is consistent. They also keep everyone’s medication looked up in each person room to reduce the chances of medication mix up. Plus my father has plenty of intellectual stimulation; some of the residents are former pastors and preachers, which is right up my dad’s alley.

I toured Bethesda Gardens Assisted Living in Ft. Worth, Texas. I was very impressed. They handle everything for you. The food was good, the facility was beautifully furnished and comfortable. Lots of activities, beauty shop, personal bank. They send an aide with your loved one to the doctor and furnish transportation. She loves her new apt. and cannot believe everything is done for her. Consequently, she is doing way better than her original assessment by the hospital! That's what happens when people thrive and are happy. Glad I listened to my senior advisor, who encouraged me and explained things to me. I could not have placed my Mom without her.

Love, love, love this facility. Their concept is wonderful.

I really liked this place and the way things are arranged and decorated. The pricing is very good.

I believe that this truly is the best value in the northland. It looks like a senior living resort. It's clean, the staff are friendly. I wish some of the monthly costs could have been pointed out more especially for a resident on a very tight budget.

I recommend; however make sure you check medication distribution and go there often.

Bethesda Gardens Loveland was a beautiful facility. Their memory care unit was under construction and while it was almost finished, we were unable to see that area at the time that we toured. But their residents were out and about, and they were so friendly with one another. They seemed like family taking care of family. It was really cute to see how everyone knew each other. They didn't have a vacant apartment to show us, so they showed us an occupied apartment with the resident's permission. She enthusiastically got up and showed us around her apartment like she was our tour guide, and we loved meeting her. I really liked the apartment layout. Really the only issues were logistical ones. Because of the location, we would have had to transfer doctors, and they just didn't have apartment availability in the tight timeline that we needed one.

This was our second choice. It felt dark inside and they were going through a remodel. This was the drawback.

This was our third choice. The tour was nice and had a perfect room for them,and it was very close to the kitchen area. They just did not have memory care avail at the time.

The care is there and they are always looking out for the residents. They have figured out how to get my loved one to get involved and engage in the activities. Overall it is a really nice place for your loved one.

Our family is so thankful for Bethesda Gardens in Frisco and all their wonderful staff. Our parents have lived there since Feb. 2019 and when Covid hit this year, we were so thankful with our decision. Everyone at Bethesda has been welcoming and caring to our parents since the first day. They go out of their way to help each resident feel at home.
