Bethesda Senior Living Communities

We were not able to go inside to tour since it was during covid. The communication with the staff was nice and they do still keep in touch. The outside of the facility looks old.

As far as cleanliness, that's all there. The staff is friendly and polite. I think they might be able to provide a little more guidance to the residents. Yes, they give them a schedule. But my loved one is forgetful, and I don't think he realizes there are so many opportunities for things to do. I'd like to see them remind him a little bit more about activities and things. We are having some issues with personal hygiene. My loved one is uncomfortable undressing and showering in front of the female caregivers. So we've asked for a male nurse, and that hasn't happened yet. The food is kind of bland as well, but I understand why.

Bethesda Gardens was a nice facility, but it was just too large. It has tons of floor and hallways and I thought my mom would get lost here. The memory care unit alone has 60 residents.

Our loved one is very happy with the meals and dining service. Our first impression was that the staff were very friendly and it seemed like a smaller community, it seemed like a tight-nit atmosphere.

Autumn View Gardens was the first one we took her to and she really liked the people and felt they were very friendly. The apartment size was also big enough for what she was wanting. She didn't want to look anywhere else so it has all worked out great, she is happy here. I would tell others to make sure that you have specific doctors orders and keep an eye and make sure that they follow it and stay on them.

We did a virtual tour with Bethesda Gardens and it was very informative. It was not the right fit because of the visual impairs my loved one has, so we decided to move him into another facility.

Our family had an in person tour before the restrictions and our experience was great. We had a good feeling about the place, but we did not put our loved one there because at the time they did not have a memory care unit, they were just starting the process to open up a memory care unit.

We chose Bethesda because it was a one story building, a smaller community, and a faith based community. It has truly been a life saver for us. Both my loved ones moved in, and my father passed away shortly thereafter. The staff have been extremely caring towards my mother and check on her frequently They've been understanding of all the things that have been going on with her, and are very supportive and willing to help. The care has been excellent. They have taken care of all of her meds, and I no longer have to try to keep up with refills or anything like that . They have been very careful about making sure they're on top of everything. Any time she's pushed her call button, someone has come by in just a matter of minutes. I've been very pleased with the way they interact with her.

I chose this facility because I liked the size of the community and the rooms here are larger than any others that we had seen and had more privacy. The food could use some improvement, but it is good. The best part about the community so far has been getting involved with the other residents, they are all very friendly. The staff is also very helpful, friendly, and they are very approachable. I would recommend to others.

Park Regency is a newer facility and it is reasonably priced. Our loved one says the food they serve is alright, he is mostly happy with it. The rooms are clean and pretty nice, and we would recommend this community to a family or friend.

I thought is was very nice there. They treated my wife well and they took care of her well. The only drawback was the food. It could have been more appetizing and the portions were small. I chose this community because it was close to where live and on my way to work. The management staff were good, the nurses were good, but a lot of changes with CNAs. I would recommend this community to other families.

My Grandmother lived at Bethesda Gardens Frisco for three years. The team there was very attentive and caring. We live very close to Bethesda and visited my grandmother very often, we were always pleased with the care that my grandmother received. I'd highly recommend Bethesda Gardens in Frisco to any family.

My mother-in-law is a resident of Park Regency Thornton for 3 years. The 1st year, she and her husband shared a 2 bedroom/2 bath 800 sq. foot apartment. It was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Within the year, my father-in-law required Memory Care & was seamlessly transferred to an efficiency apartment on that unit. The staff was amazing, providing loving care - along with Hospice until he passed away within 4 month. My mother-in-law was able to have a deluxe efficiency apartment directly 1 floor over him, allowing her to visit him frequently, at all hours of day & night. Now that she is "single," she participates in several of the events and outings the PR offers. She has made good friends and is very satisfied with her arrangements. During this very trying time with the Assisted Living isolation requirements, management & staff have kept all the residents safe, well fed, comfortable and well cared for. They have done an amazing job - and I applaud them all - for all they do & have done.

Did a virtual tour. Seems very nice with lots of activities. I like that it is a faith based organization.

I give [name removed] two thumbs up!! She was amazing and truly had a heart of gold. She listened, was very patient, answered all my questions and even made suggestions that made me feel comfortable about my decision making. My 4 star rating was only because I wished there was just a little more square footage offered for the same great price.

I toured for my mom and loved the community. I wish they had private apartments for MCD but they were a very nice community.

Very good overall with moderate good quality.

The residents look happy and the community seemed busy. The staff took the time to greet me and the tour was nice.

We liked Bethesda Gardens & I revisted this week to show my nephew (he currently lives with my Mom). It’s still in the running.
