Best Care Senior Living LLC

Very nice ALF/Nursing home/Day care facility, very clean & modern. Smells great. The staff is super friendly. My mom was here for about 3 weeks attending the Day Care program (Monday thru Friday 6 hours daily) & was not so happy to be there. She basically only speaks Spanish now a days & could not communicate much there. On her 3rd week at the daycare she was [Removed] by another resident during one of the activities so we did not bring her back ever again. They did make arrangements to move the other resident to another side of the facility, we just didn't feel comfortable leaving mom there any longer.

We came and saw the community during lunch time. I did not see any one talking with each other during lunch. Compared to an independent facility this was much more. This was not the place for us because that is not what we wanted to pay.

We are trying to get use to how it goes in this community. We are not use to a small room and it's like a new world to us. The staff are helping as much as possible. I have no complaints and I would recommend to family and friends.

I can not say enough about how accommodating the staff is. The nurse is fantastic and they have a doctor and podiatrist that come to the community. My mother in law likes bingo and exercise class. They also offer trips out. She has made numerous friends. This is an older building that they keep spotless inside. I would recommend taking a look at this community.

My wife has moved in to The Palms of Punta Gorda. She likes everyone there and gets along great, she is friends with everyone. The staff are outstanding! The accomodations and food are not the best or fanciest but that can be expected for it to be mediocre. Once a week they have a man bring in puppies and she really enjoys that. There is also a banjo band that comes in and plays, which is also enjoyed.

The rooms are small, but the facility is clean and run well. The staff is very attentive to the residents and they are always so nice. There is a pleasant atmosphere here and we are satisfied with the level of care.

Everything is going well so far. The staff is great and the facility is nice, clean, and well taken care of. The residents are taken care of as well.

The staff at The Cottages treated mom really well. Their strong point is their staff, they are friendly and there is an abundance of them. The residents there treated mom well too, they were very warm and welcoming. It was an all around good experience here.

I am very very pleased with The Hawthorne Inn. My mom is doing very well there. I really like the community. It's not too many residents there. There are four wings, and only 14 people in each wing which makes it even more wonderful. Daily exercise is offered, and they even have singers as entertainment come in weekly. It is an awesome place! Staff is top notch, very friendly and open for suggestions. They have a doctor on staff who responds very quickly to the needs of the residents.

Mom was rejected from the Windsor of Lakewood Ranch after living there for 3 years with her boyfriend of 25 yrs living next door. She is 98! she got pneumonia, in the hospital,the Windsor would not take her back unless she had rehab which we did for six weeks but it was another new place. The Windsor evaluated her twice and she was rejected twice. The Windsor is under new management with a new executive director and nurse both I found very cold and uncaring..they obviously didn't want Mom back. I was given 2 weeks discharge notice from the rehab place and the only place that would have her was the Cabot Reserve. They were warm,welcoming and Mom is getting good care. Her boyfriend who is 95 is lonely and distraught but he manage to have is daughter bring him over to visit and they sit and hold hands.Awful experience!!

Cabot Reserve is an older community but is very clean and well kept. Very friendly staff and Mom says the food is great.

I toured Superior Residences because it is close to my home. I did not like it because they had things like a set bathroom time, where they would take the residents to the bathroom at the same time rather when they have to go. it was not what we were looking for.

My friend is doing very well. She has a good environment. The community is excellent and great but they have one downfall. The director of nursing is not able to communicate with me nor follow through with doctor's order and getting some medications. I am disappointed with the way she does show concern in the residents and some of the staff follow her ways. Ellen is a brand new staff and she is very great at following through with anything. I now have a contact to communicate with.

We’ve only been there a short time. There is always room for improvement. They’re very simple. It’s not like assisted living that do all kinds of things. Their focus is different. In my own experience they work hard to help the new resident adjust.

He was only there a couple months before he received an eviction notice because he was beyond their level of care. He couldn't get out of bed by himself and they are not licensed for that as an assisted living facility. With my limited experience, I thought that the people were nice and the facility seemed fine.

The people are friendly and they focus on the care of their residents. The property is an older building but seems to be well kept and clean. My mother lives in the memory unit and requires full care. She is kept clean and well cared for overall.

Pretty much everything about them is average from what we've seen at Canopy at Walden Woods, but they have given us an all-inclusive price that's less than half of what the previous place charged. Same problems with some of the staff, laundry mix ups, etc but at a great price

I like the size. It is a smaller community. They need to improve on keeping track of residents' clothing, bedding and supplies. Communication about health issues could be better.

The meals are always hot and nice size portions. Staff is always willing to assist and answer questions timely. Activities are good and family allowed to participate.

A majority of the staff are friendly and caring towards the residents. The facility is kept fairly clean compared to other facilities of its kind. I would recommend it to others.
