Benchmark Senior Living

The staff from top to throughout is warm and caring. Not sure if they are yet fully staffed. Good amount of activities for the Memory Care side. Perhaps the meals on Memory Care could use a little attention. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

We are very pleased that our sister is living comfortably and safely there. We picked this community, because It had a locked memory, and assisted living. [name removed] worked with us to get our sister in there quickly, which we needed. We hoped we could have found a less expensive place but do not think we would have been as happy with an other facility.

The Birches was helpful in getting my loved one in. It's very expensive, but they've done quite a bit for her. The food is really good. The nursing care has been really good. The administrative side is not quite on that same level - they've been a little bit slower in their responses.

Middlebrook Farms at Trumbull is in a nice, quiet residential area. There is plenty of parking and it is easy to get to. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and they take very good care of their residents. My mom is a foodie - there are 2 sittings for the meals and she says the food is cold when it is served and sometimes they do not have enough of the specials. There are some things that she likes and some things that she doesn't. Overall I would recommend Middlebrook Farms to others.

This was a beautiful place, with lovely outdoor space. I liked that you could walk along a private path to a nearby Starbucks. The rooms were very small with kitchenettes instead of full cooking. I thought the memory care unit at this facility was far superior to Maplewood. Cordingly Dam has a memory unit on the top floor with a dedicated garden/patio. It is flooded with sunlight and very upbeat. At Maplewood memory care is in the basement, dark and overcrowded.

The thing that sticks out most to me about The Arbors of Shelburne would be all of the caring staff members.

The staff is very caring and go out of their way to make residents feel known and safe. There are some inconsistencies in services that need to be monitored by family members.

They struggle like every other place that is managing large numbers of people. Sometimes things are cancelled which is disappointing. For example they say you can have anything you want for your birthday food wise but it is not entirely true. So there are just little things like that. Overall my mom is difficult and they are handling her beautifully. We have been very happy with the nursing staff and the care she is receiving. I would absolutely recommend Greenwich Farms at Warwick to others looking.

I think Benchmark is a good place. I like that the services are a la carte. Sometimes communication is broken, and it 's hard to get return phone calls.

Greater transparencies, especially for extended family if they wish to contact or speak to members of the staff or to their loved ones, especially during Covid outbreaks. Better inventory processes as it applies to clothing and personal items. Otherwise, care and attentiveness to patience is spot on.

The Atrium of Rocky Hill is a memory care facility only. Ater very trying experiences with facilities that SAY they can handle dementia patients if became quite clear they could not. The Atrium DOES. Now to be perfectly honest its not an experience I would relished but my Mother was safe, observed, engage in appropriate activities, well fed and reasonably happy.

My mother has been at the Atrium for 2 years. The location is convenient - right off the highway and close to many stores. The common areas are bright and homey and individual rooms are similar to hotel rooms with private bathrooms. You have the option of a private room or a room for two people; you can bring in your own furniture or it will be provided for you. There is a separate dining room that is sunny and roomy. There is a lovely fenced in courtyard with benches, flowers, a gazebo, shade, seating areas, a vegetable garden and a circular walking path that the residents really enjoy. We have found the staff to be KIND, PATIENT AND HARD-WORKING. The turnover leaves something to be desired but I attribute that to Covid. Performers come in to sing and play music. There are activities scheduled daily such as games, crafts and exercise and there are supervised outings on a van. Their SPECIALTY is memory care. The visitation policy is great. Excellent Covid protocols. It is SAFE.

It's like a Disney hotel. They have several activities, even taking the residents out for ice cream. They have a concert every week, one of the staff plays guitar and sings. Very clean and the staff is very nice, high energy, and engaging with the residents. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

The staff that I have interacted with are friendly. The facility is very clean. I think my father is well taken care of here.

I thought Orchard Valley was very nice. But the facility was kind of dated, and we preferred a newer facility.

Our first impression of the community was great except for the cost. The facility has no department for getting benefits if and when our loved ones money runs out. Our loved one needs the highest most expensive care level and unfortunately when our loved ones money runs out we will have to move them. However the place is really nice.

I have lived here for three years and overall I have enjoyed it. They have trouble keeping staff and the management has changed frequently. Atria corporate policies affecting quality of life are arbitary and uninformed. Be prepared for annual rent increases from 10 to 15 percent with no changes in quality.

We picked this community because of the location, and the overall feeling of the community. They are really nice, and kind to my loved one. They have been very supportive. They have been great. I would highly recommend them. The staff is really accomodating, and kind to the residents.

When I toured this community the staff was very nice as well as the community itself, This was my second choice, however the other facility we looked at was just closer and I wanted my loved one to be closer to me.

We really like how responsive the staff members have been, anytime we reach out by phone or email we usually get an immediate response. The common areas of the community are very clean but the house keeping of our loved ones apartment could be a little better. We do wish they had more of an ambassador's program for the new residents moving in. Our loved one received a lot of good information during the move in process from the staff which was great, but it was very over whelming so our loved one has forgotten some things, so it would be nice if residents could be apart of the program to show the newer residents where things are and how things work.
