Just make sure you speak up if you find things aren't satisfactory. I feel I was heard and things improved. I go daily to make sure all is going smoothly and my husband is happy and clean and well cared for.

My mother has a particular mix of needs and was bored in a nursing home memory care. She's somewhat advanced in her cognitive decline, needs help with many ADLs, and is a big fall risk (no clue what the "stupid" walker is), but she benefits from lots of structured activities, physical exercise, and socialization. We were very happy to find The Atrium, which meets her at that sweet spot. We also like the levels of care cost structure, so she's paying for what she needs at the time. The best part is the staff - the Directors are engaged, and there is a nurse alongside an activity leader and plenty of care team members on the floor. They bring energy and fun to the work! Family members, therapists, hospice and medical providers, as well as outside performers and sometimes the chef, circulate frequently too. All of it together constitutes a lively community, where my mother seems quite happy.

All good, just wish they would keep me in the loop on things. Example, unbeknownst to me they ordered an ultrasound for her leg. I had already done that right before she went there and knew the issues. Except for the memory evaluations I don't hear from them. The other assisted living facilities I dealt with for other family members always called me

At this point we would give 4 stars. The Care is good. The Food is good. The Activities are very good. We wish they would clean her room more often, but not a huge deal. But, overall entire facility, location is very clean.

The Arbors in Bedford is roomy and lovely. The staff is quite efficient and always willing to assist and listen to me as her guardian. They have an amazing Activities Program! The food is decent however, always pretty much late with morning coffee that seems very important to the residents, that look anxious on the waiting. The RCA aides are ok. They seem a little lazy, and quite attached to their phones. We are working on the sides to understand the sundown times (2nd shift) when Doris gets anxious. The administration are always working on running a tight ship. Overall we are pleased as her guardians, my husband and I. Her room is wonderful...It's the nurses that are simply great!!!

My husband's room is quite large-closet is also large. Although he would prefer to be home he does like it there. Based on the experience we would recommend The Atrium to others

It overall is a nice facility. The studio apartment was on the small size. But the place was clean and staff friendly.

Happy to visit the facility and saw how well it is maintained. The programs were impressive and the staff very friendly.

Overall 4 stars. No issues other than the food. My sister is a vegetarian and this leaves her very few options since each meal is centered around a protein. I'm told that the food appears premade and does not taste very good. This is unfortunate since meals are a big part of the socialization there. Also, I will not eat there because they charge $[removed] for a something like a hotdog.

Overall, apartment and closet space is huge. Very generous. Overall design and cleanliness is great, activities are varied and multiple options daily. The food is also above average and flexible, generous schedule. Staff is helpful and kind.

Staff are very good so far . Activities are ok . Place is pretty clean . Room is a small one bedroom . There are larger one bedrooms . None were available. I think she is doing pretty well . They are way more helpful than her previous assisted living. So far , very good !A few things with air conditioning and kitchen was being updated but now seems ok . Most staff is friendly and kind

Overall the staff was very good. Especially the leadership team in the memory unit where my mom was. The food was fine and they did some activities but as you know they are limited in memory care.

The place was really nice. We enjoyed our tour. The bedroom was fairly large, and it is someplace that we MIGHT consider in the future.

Only not 5 stars as my 90 year old dad, a former college president would like a few more men to have cultural discussions. He had that at their over 55 condo complex in Holden. My mom is thriving however- she needs PT and help with dressing due to arthritis and some tones weakness due to Lymphoma. Food is high average, not my parents favorite but they recently switched chefs at Tatnuck Park and I think they will be more able to recommend menu items. My parents are mainly pescatarians and more people in their generation eat meat. Staff is very kind and responsive. My parents have their minds and communicate well, which helps. Dad still drives so they don't take advantage of the shuttle service which seems to run only on certain days to their doctors or church etc. Cost is high as is many places but the care they receive is worth it. They have 3 small rooms, bedroom, living room with kitchenette and second bedroom they use as a den. It is a good amount of space but 3 smallish closets are not really enough. Keep on mind they came from a 3,000 square foot condo with a two car garage.

Great experience. Currently filling out the application for my dad. The low income program option has made Putnum Farm the top option so far.

Positive- staff is friendly, the place is clean, food is good, the common areas are nice (both on the memory care floor and regular areas), provide wheelchair transportation to doctors appointments, allow us to reserve rooms to have party or family gatherings. Negatives- I have had to follow up multiple times about getting hair washed or at one point bathing, applying lotion. My mom is supposed to wear hand braces and the staff are often not trained to use them or do not use them. It's expensive

The people are very kind to my mother and myself which I very much appreciate. They are accommodating. There was a bit of a hitch with sending my paperwork to the insurance company because it said respite care and not adult care and when there was a change in staffing because the business person left I had to make a few extra calls but that doesn't seem to be the normal day today happenings. Even though I still am in the process of fixing this problem.

My husband is happy there. They are going above and beyond for his care. They do not have all the amenities of other facilities, but the staff is doing the best with what they have and that counts for more than astechics. We are glad we came.

The cna staff on the memory unit are not overly ambitious. The food is inconsistent. For example, last Sunday dinner was a chicken salad sandwich or a crabcake. No salad /chips/ or pasta. Nursing was informed that I needed advanced notice when he would need refills because he gets them from VA and he missed several days of different meds because I wasn't given notice that he needed refills. The activity staff were great. I will add that they did work with us when dad was running out of money.
