The Atrium is an inviting environment. I believe they pay close attention to their residents, and they try to get them all active and participating so they're not just sitting there. They have multiple activities throughout the day. They catered to my mom's needs and were able to get her motivated. It's just a very clean, inviting, and cheerful atmosphere.

Overall, this place was great for my uncle and I would highly recommend them. He hasn't participated in the activities yet. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Dining seems good to me. If you ask my uncle, he'd tell you it's ok but he wants less chicken! Facility is very clean. They did seemed to be short staffed for awhile. There were a few times where my uncle said he waited almost 30 minutes after pressing the call light for assistance getting to dining, etc. But that definitely seems to be improving. The facility has suited our needs remarkably and I would recommend it to others!

When it comes to the staff members and the quality of care has been very good. The activities themselves are very good - the residents and even our loved one really enjoy the pool noodle game where they bat around the balloon - they all seem to really love that. Based on our experience so far we would recommend Benchmark Senior Living to other families.
