They probably could improve by adding more staff. Sometimes it takes a little while for them to respond to the call button. My aunt stays very busy there. She loves it there. The food is good. I've eaten there myself. We looked at other places but this seemed like the best place for her.

In terms of service and care and working with the family, I would rate them 5 but in terms of expense I would give them a 4. It's expensive but the care and activities are good. They've been really good with my dad. They're very responsive to him and to the family, and the staff really pays a lot of attention to him. He's on a memory care unit with 24 hr staffing. We were planning to move him into the regular assisted living side but the nursing evaluation determined that he would have difficulty in the open setting without the staff support. They have been very supportive of the family through the process. All of us live out of state and they're really good at keeping in touch. The unit director and activities director are wonderful, the nursing staff is great, and the resident assistants have been terrific. My dad seems to have settled in. His room could be a little bigger, but the biggest drawback is the expense. We're lucky he has the resources.

I like that the atmosphere there is beautiful and that the staff really cares. They're really great. I mean, mom has her little quirks and they do a great job accommodating her which is lovely. The care services are very good but sometimes there are certain of the aids and caretakers who don't really do as much as some other ones do. But other than two people or so everyone is fantastic. I think the activities are very good. My mom doesn't really participate but that's just her and her current situation. She can't really participate but there always seems to be things going on. Also, they are always available to take her to doctors appointments and things too which is important.

I give this place a 5+ and a 5++ for the staff! It really is a great place. My brother couldn't be more happy. We like the cleanliness and the warmth of the staff. Starting at the top with the administrative staff all the way down to the servers in the dining area, everyone is great. We also like that it's a very open institution. I mean, the family is welcome to come at any time and that's wonderful.The staff is a very stable staff and I like the amenities. There is always coffee available and fresh lemon water that you can just go and help yourself to. They have a wonderful library and the act are great. Maybe they need to work with the dining room chef because people are not always happy with the selection. They quality of the food is good but the options could be more diverse.

Outstanding staff and level of care. Extremely well run and managed. No weak links in the chain - every member is well suited, quailified and trained.

I could never have gotten better support anywhere than what I got at Middlebrook Farms. The people were outstanding and tremendously helpful to me during this very difficult time. They loved my sister as much as I do.

My parents will not be moving in for another couple of weeks, but we couldn't be happier with this facility. The people on the staff are kind, caring, and loving. It really seems that their goal is to provide loving, caring support for all members of the community. They try to provide a friendly, nourishing environment for all residents. We are very pleased with Bedford Falls.

My mother is doing well. We took her off some of her meds, and she is doing even better than before. That probably wouldn't have happened if we wouldn't have moved her. I think that she is getting much better care than she was at her previous assisted living, and this community is very well suited for her. They do a lot of very small group activities, which really get all of the residents involved.

Excellent. When forming an opinion of a facility, observe and rate the personnel at all levels first, then the physical facility.

Everyone was very kind and helpful, they helped to turn a very bad situation, that our family was going through into something good. It has only been a few days , mom seems to be adjusting already, everyone has made her feel very welcomed. Hopfully soon she will call it her home. THANK YOU EVERYONE !!!!!!

Everyone was extremely helpful getting my father in rapidly, and making him comfortable.

They're amazing, that's all I can say. They have people who have worked there 5 and 15 years and I sit there with G and I just watch the whole milieu for an hour at a time and I know they're not showing off for me, they're happy to relate to them at whatever level they're on. It's a great place, they're really good, they're on top of what's going on with her. The only issue is she had a problem with one of her toenails that maybe we should have heard about it sooner. Her husband had been diagnosed with lewy body dementia and had really gone down hill fast, we didn't have to hire any extra aids, they had the right equipment, they did the two person transfers, the care when he was here was really good, it was better than the 24 hour aids in many ways. Pretty much everybody there is out in the common areas most of the time and the place is designed for people specifically with memory issues and it's quite spacious out of the ones we looked at. It doesn't have a sort of medical feel to it, the staff aren't allowed to wear medical uniforms, they were regular clothes and they have a very active staff. A month ago they had a Hawaiian luau, they invited all the families to go and they have a monthly support group also.

It's expensive but it's a pretty good value. I'd highly recommend that place. It's excellent! They take a personal interest, it seems, in all the residents there. Everyweek they have a new activities calender. On a regular basis, almost every night it seems, they have movies. People come in every week - they've had comedians, musicians, they had a cellist. They have field trips to the beach or the shore rather. Every week is chock full of activities of varied kinds for varied interests. My parents weren't keen on moving into a place like that and even they have to admit that it's excellent. They feel like they're being very well taken care of.

My brother and I toured this facility, both assisted living and memory care. Both my brother and I liked the facility very much, but once again, Mom is not ready to make a move. Fees are a concern.

They have a good collection of activities for those who chose to participate. The staff friendliness is just superior to other communities. It just felt like the right choice. It was warm and welcoming. I would recommend them to anyone. You really can't describe it but this community just felt like the right choice for us.

I thought that Middlebrook was a very good place, their directors were nice that we spoke to, their caretakers seemed to be nice. Only one of my brother would have been really close to her so the rest of us would have had to drive a bit longer. I'm the main caregiver for my mom so driving out to Trumbull would have been inconvinient. It was also a little bit more expensive than the other place we were looking at but I liked their food (my mom didn't) and it seemed like a nice place.
