Benchmark Senior Living

The Village has received glowing reviews from my two former sitters who have visited my father there. I am completely satisfied by the care my father is receiving. There is very little staff turnover. The staff at every level seem to be very good. Everyone in the place seems to know all the residents and what their care needs are. They have staff meetings often. My father's room is attractive and airy. There are a lot of activities. It is an excellent facility! It's expensive, but perhaps because of that I feel that the quality of the residents is high also. It is surprisingly easy to get to and has its own traffic light, which is a great help. It is near shopping areas, so you can bet other things done when you drive there for a visit. They also listen to my opinions about my father's care and try to accommodate my requests.

We used this community for a few weeks of respite care for my loved one, and I thought they did an excellent job. They really went out of their way to make sure that Mom got engaged in the activities, and she really seemed to enjoy all the different things they had to offer. She also said the food was great! Other than a few minor housekeeping issues things couldn't have gone better, and I'd definitely recommend them as an option for respite care!

They seem to have activities going on all the time. They frequently have musicians come in and play for the residents. The residents can go outdoors where there is a nice courtyard. They also have a small bus and can take a few residents out shopping, or on trips. They have at least two choices for every meal. In fact, I think they eat better than I do! The food is pretty good. Nashua Crossings is almost like a country club! We are pretty satisfied and happy with everything they do. One thing that was nice... is that I had to move all my mother's furniture and clothing in, and Rob the director is really nice... he had some of the staff help me carry the furniture in. I highly recommend Nashua Crossings.

So far we have been very pleased with the services provided by Haverhill Crossings. The facility itself isn't the nicest or the newest place we saw, but the staff are all very friendly and professional and they've been able to provide all of the care that my loved one needs.

She did not want to go and within two days she was in love with them. When she went to the hospital their nurse came to visit and tell her they were waiting for her to come back. They really cared for her. I can't say enough. I was just amazed. She was making. We are so happy that she was so happy. When you walk down the hall you would think you had known everyone for years. Even after my mother passed, they call me to see if there is anything they can do. I can't imagine anyone not giving them one hundred percent.

We were generally very satisfied with the services my loved one received at Sanctuary Care at Rye. The staff were all very friendly, and did their best to keep the place looking clean and well kept. Many of the residents were at the point in their dementia where they were not entirely aware of their actions and wandered in and out of other patients rooms, but from what I saw the management and care staff did their best to guide the residents, and were always patient and kind. Overall, however, they did a good job. They provided the care my loved one needed, it was always clean, and the food wasn't bad.

I was nervous moving my mom in at age 83 after living alone for years but it was the best thing I did. She loves it and has made friends and socializes. The staff are all wonderful and the residents are well taken care off. It is very clean and beautiful!

It’s expensive, but it’s good. From what we signed up for, the care services are very good. The activities keep my loved one busy – there are lots of them. My loved one is very, very happy. Everyone seems very friendly.

When my Dad's alzheimers got really bad I didn't know what to do. I called A Place For Mom and spoke to a wonderful man named Jeff LaGoy. He made me feel so much better. He gave me lots of information and different options. I was afraid that we would never be able to afford Greystone but he told me lots of things we could do to help with that - like using my Dad's Veteran's Benefits. We went to see Greystone the next day and they were WONDERFUL! Every person we met was calm and patient and compassionate. The staff there is great with my Dad and so upbeat and energetic. He is very happy there and my Mum can finally get some sleep. I can't say enough great things about Greystone or a Place for Mom.

They have a high male to female ratio … We were tired when we visited, but the woman was so nice that it just made it a good experience. She called us ahead of time. We were very pleased with them. We would have loved to be able to place our loved ones here. It would have been a good match personality wise, but state regulations and proximity to family members meant we needed to select a different community.

It's excellent, excellent. The reasons we were there was for the greater care. Our loved ones are very happy there. All the communities are pretty expensive. Another reason we went there was because their dietary service can meet one of my loved one’s food needs. In general, one of the things that turned us on to this community was how close it was to relatives.

It’s established with a very good reputation. I haven’t seen anything unpleasant in the multiple times I’ve been able to visit the community. My mother says the food is good. There are outside areas for loved ones to use.

I think they are excellent.

They've been absolutely wonderful so far! The staff are friendly, professional, and extremely accommodating. They were incredibly helpful during our search and move-in process and really saved the day during a stressful time. They're always very responsive in terms of both care and communication with families. The facility itself is always clean and well kept, and the services and activities provided are great. The only complaint I'd have is that they could have a bit more of a focus on evening activities, and I'd like to see them show more modern films when they watch movies.

It's beautiful and right on the water. Nancy was just phenomenal, even after we didn't choose them she would follow up and offer help. They just didn't have any availablility when we looked. We really liked this place.

I'm telling you, I cannot praise the staff enough. They were so wonderful to my husband and myself. It was a little on the expensive side. I saw the other residents really getting engaged and social in the activities. The parking seemed to be somewhat limited. They were the only ones of the places we looked at ready to help. And the director of nursing was able to see through the medication he was on during the assessment. They really embraced both of us, he passed away, and even now some of them will call and check on me and see how I am doing.

My only concern is the way the prescriptions are done, the pharmacy they use isn't a preferred pharmacy (at least for our insurance) and this may cause issues. They will work with you and let you change pharmacies but families may want to look into that, or be aware of it. Other than that hiccup we are happy. The food is delicious, I don't know how they get their pork chops so tender. They are clean and friendly, and quick to respond to needs and concerns. There are plenty of activities.

My mother is very happy with her care and her new surroundings! She loves the food and has met a lot of interesting people. Her apartment is very nice and just the right amount of living space for her. The staff has been very helpful to her (and to me) in helping her make a smooth adjustment to assisted living.

We've been very happy with our experience at The Atrium. The food is pretty good. I can't really think of anything that could be improved or done any better.
