My father has resided here for 4 months. He lives in the Dementia ward. His caretakers are wonderful. They have concern for the well-being of their residents. They provide activities, music ,lunches out, and love. He is getting what we could not provide. Thank you

From the moment we arrived, Mom and Dad were welcomed with open arms. Everyone from housekeeping to administrative staff have been so pleasant and helpful. The surroundings are lovely and the staff took time to answer our many questions and made us feel a part of their community. Everyone is friendly and take pride in nurturing a caring and loving environment. We were encouraged to keep in touch with nurses and staff as much as we felt was needed. Our mom and dad love the food and all the choices they have available. It was comforting to know the staff is checking on them if they do not show up for meals. Their room is nice and clean and the perfect size for them. We were able to experience one of the activities which they thoroughly enjoyed. We feel so good knowing our Mom and Dad are in such a safe, happy community with people who truly care about them. In their words, “We love it here.”

Beautiful facility. Residents seemed active, engaged and happy. Lots of activities scheduled daily, but some seemed to repeat very frequently. Off property trips could be improved.

Moving your loved one to Assisted Living is one of the hardest things you'll ever do. I moved my father to Willow Crossings a few months ago. I knew it was the right place during the tour, and not just for its affordability compared to other facilities. I wandered off and met residents on my own. Every one of them told me they were happy, my father would love it there, and that they would look out for him! Some (as well as the staff) gave me tissues! Unfortunately, my father declined rapidly and is now in the Memory Care Unit. But Willow Crossings gave him the chance to remain as independent as possible for as long as he could. They treat their residents with dignity and that meant the world to us. My father made many friends in Assisted Living and they were still there for him when he went into the Memory Care Unit. Now, moving into a memory care unit is a bit of a shock, I don’t care where you are. But my experience at Willow Crossings’ Memory Care Unit is one of love and kindness and not just for my father but for me. They understand how hard this is on family. I couldn’t handle all of this without the incredible staff at Willow Crossings, from the Director all the way down to the staff in the kitchen. I’ve gotten to know so many lovely residents and staff. It’s not easy getting old, let alone losing your mind and mobility. I love chatting with the residents that can talk, smiling at the ones that can't, listening to stories, making bracelets, coloring, folding. It’s like a little slice of heaven where you remember what’s truly important in life, love!

Bay Square is the model of a kind, compassionate residence for seniors. To call it "Assisted Living" doesn't do it justice. They DO assist in every way but MORE -- they focus on supporting their residents to live as fully as is possible to the very end with activities and a joyful spirit. The staff, with exception, are helpful, happy, and kind. Prior to Bay Square, Mom lived at two very comfortable Senior Residences and one Rehab Center prior to Bay Square and Bay Square outshone them all in every way. We could not have been happier, and more grateful, for their care for Mom.

My Dad has been at The Atrium at Cardinal Drive for the past 4 months & my siblings and I are extremely happy with the care he is getting. The facility is immaculate, decor feels like a comfortable home & the staff is very caring & loving. There is always something going on to keep him engaged & interested. I am so happy that we found this wonderful home away from home for him!

My mom has been here about 3 weeks now. We came here because her previous assisted living/memory unit insisted that she needed a higher level of care and that we needed to hire a private duty aide 24/7 on top of a two person assist and hoyer lift or explore skilled nursing. They said she was combative and aggressive during care. We thought she was scared because they were rushing. We thought that a third person was extreme. She weighs about 110 pounds. Fast forward to The Village at Buckland Court. My mom is very happy there and says "everyone is so nice". They haven't seen any aggressiveness or combativeness. The reason seems to be that the staff are better at what they do, they care and have compassion. We thought the other place was just falling down on the job and we were right. In addition to not needing a third person they are no longer needing to use the hoyer lift for her ??. She has improved so much in just three weeks. You can feel the good vibe as soon as you walk in. It's a great atmosphere. They really do care. The communication with all the staff is nothing short of fantastic. The food is great and the variety is fantastic. My mom is very very happy with the food and we couldn't be more pleased with her care.

I have been very pleased with the attention and care given to my Aunt. The entire staff is very friendly, courteous, and there when needed. I have reccomended the Benchmark facility in Shelton, CT to anyone who is thinking of placing a loved one in an assisted living facility. Again, I am very satisfied overall. The team at The Arbors is very caring. They provide very high-quality dementia care. Their reputation spans decades of devotion to people living with Alzheimer's and related memory loss issues.

We recently transitioned my 97-year-old father to Haverhill Crossings. He is a very active senior. This made the decision to transition him to an assisted living even more difficult. However the staff at Haverhill Crossings have been tremendous. The transition went very smoothly. Everyone knows his name now. The food is fabulous. In fact he has gained 5 pounds in a little over two months. The place is spotless. I highly recommend Table crossings For anyone that needs to make this important decision.

My husband was admitted to Shrewsbury Crossings Assisted Living 2 weeks ago, and his adjustment period is still ongoing. However, I am already seeing some very positive changes. He is trying to communicate more, he’s smiling, he loves the food and the staff members, and seems generally more content. For my part, I’m able to get some rest knowing that he is in good hands every night. So thanks to everyone at Shrewsbury Crossings for helping to make my husband feel welcome and for improving his quality of life!

Not only is the campus beautiful but more importantly the hand picked staff and administrators are beyond compare. Their caring, compassion and kindness is evident everyday, and on more than one occasion I have caught someone doing something really nice for my mom. Every visit affirms we chose the right place . I highly recommend River Ridge to a anyone looking for an assisted living facility!

We are recent arrivals at Meadow Ridge and are extremely pleased with our apartment, the friendly residents, the food, the friendly staff, the activities, the beautiful grounds and views, and the overall appearance of the common areas. There is a magnificent plant-filled atrium with water features. It's an indoor garden for the colder weather and a place to socialize at any time. You have to take a tour to appreciate it.

Meadow Ridge is a wonderful and inclusive community where people engage with each other and are offered multiple activities and special classes or presentations daily. Set in a tranquil greenspace area between Ridgefield, Danbury and Norwalk, all amenities needed are really quite 'local'. Doctors, Hospitals, Shopping, Dining, Gourmet Groceries, Culture, Ridgefield Playhouse, Museums, Historic sites and Nature Preserves are all within a quick trip in the car. It's delightful to be so close to all things that make life more enjoyable. We chose Meadow Ridge after viewing more than twenty other Senior Communities up the east coast. The difference we found was that Meadow Ridge holds a quality of people and community and active interests that the other communities did not match in the least. Another amazing factor that stood out to us is the natural light quality+quantity in the architectural blueprint that Meadow Ridge so intelligently designed upon construction. All apartments and common areas are generously flooded with natural light, establishing a mental and physical wellness alongside vibrant, natural environments throughout the Meadow Ridge community. And through those open windows and vistas are the most beautifully landscaped gardens and flower beds. Meadow Ridge was the last place we toured during our search, and I'll never forget the feeling once we got once back in our car after the tour. It was a feeling of relief, to finally have found a community that could be a comfortable and inclusive 'home'.

Ridgefield Crossing has been great. Having worked in health care and our local emergency services for the past 30 years, I have had the opportunity to interact and work with many of the assisted living facilities within Fairfield County. This experience made it easy to choose Ridgefield Crossing when we relocated Mom to our hometown of Ridgefield. The most important trait that we have enjoyed about Ridgefield Crossing is the staff. Their care and dedication is second to none. From nursing to the dedicated patient care aids, I feel that they are always going the extra mile to provide the best compassionate care. On top of the great patient care staff the support staff has also become part of our family. Thank you Ridgefield Crossing! Keep the family first as you always do!

Grey Stone has provided great care to my 89 year old mother in their Harbor Memory Care unit 24/7. My mother depends on 1:1 assistance to meet all her needs throughout the day, including the use of specialized adaptive equipment. You’ll find the staff is friendly and caring beginning right at the desk when you walk in through the front door. The sales, administrative, cafeteria, and staff in general are always available to make their residents and families feel comfortable in their living environment. The nursing staff is very caring and readily available to assist with any medical needs that arise as well. The aids who work directly with the residents and provide their day to day care are phenomenal. They work as a team and are the backbone that supports the needs of everyone who resides there. As Grey Stone does cost somewhat more than others facilities in the area, I do feel they should offer higher salaries to the aids who work within the Harbor unit, to enable them to remain and establish a long term career there. It is a very demanding job that is both compassionately and professionally met by everyone who works there, which makes me feel very comfortable when I leave after my visit with my mother. I would highly recommend sending my loved one to live at Grey Stone in Salem, NH

Benchmark Senior Living at Ridgefield Crossings was very nice and the people were super nice to everyone. When you walk in you can tell it is a clean place. The staff was very helpful and always ready to help. Ridgefield is one of the best towns in the Connecticut and this place has to be one of the best in order to service this great town.

Wonderful, caring staff. Well maintained facility. Highly recommended.
