We chose The Atrium at Faxon Woods because it was recommended to us and it just seemed like it would be the best fit. It was the best value for the money and it felt like they were really trying to meet our needs. Everyone here is extremely friendly and everyone knows my name. My friends mom is here and her mom tells her that she makes her feel like she is the only one here. I would absolutely recommend to others looking I am able to visit 2-3 times a week inside.

They made the whole move-in process very easy for me. And it's a complicated process to move from one faciltiy to another, especially during Covid with all the checks and everything. It had thbe coordinated with hospice. Eveyrthing had 4-5 different steps to it, and they were very helopful making it go as smoothly as posisble form their end. There is one person who has been my main contact. If I don't know who to talk to, I send her a message or a text. And she'll let me know who can anser my questin. Isntead of just hunting and pecking for who to contat, I hav point perosn, andtha'ts been very helpful Very clean, limited access to the facilty There a couple of days for move in. The staff have reached out to me and made phone calls. When we were moving in, the management stoped by, offered help. really wen tout of their way. The care my loved one is getting is great. My lvoed one says the food is great, and they're assisting her with eating. SO she's getting three solid meals a day. That wasn't happening at the last place we were in. Her preferncef sometimes. The activities sound good, but my loved one is not able to participate. Nor is she a joiner bynature. For what I'm geting there for the money, it seems like a good value. They send out bills, they detail it, they provide a summary at the end of hte year for tax purposes. It was just all very nice. Everything has been a real positve experience for me.

The community does a great job with my loved ones. they have given him a job to do every day and this really makes him feel needed and he really enjoys it. Spend some time at any community you visit and get to know the community. I would recommend this community to others.

They are great! The staff is very friendly. The nurses are very friendly, along with the receptionist. The administrative team makes you feel comfortable. They take really good care of my father. The communication is great and will let me know of any changes of my loved one. This is a really great place to put your loved one, since they really care about the residents.

The cleanliness of the community was excellent, however we still could not go inside the community due to the covid restrictions. They took excellent care of our loved one there, there was one woman in particular that treated my mother like she was her own. She would go in after hours and tend to her, and on the night she passed she stayed with her throughout the entire night and never left her side. Our mother at one point had to go into rehab at another facility and the manager fought for us to try and get her back in this community quickly so they could continue caring for her. We highly recommend Orchard Valley, we were very fortunate.

Our experience so far has been great and the care takers have been great. They still are able to engage the residents in some activities, our loved one is doing puzzles, coloring and bingo. We have not heard much feedback about the food, but she has said over the phone that it is good. We also think the value is excellent.

Our loved one unfortunately was only there for one night, but the people there were absolutely phenomenal. They went above and beyond for us, we have nothing bad to say. It was a wonderful experience, and the lady who runs the place is terrific she really went above and beyond. We highly highly recommend them to people who are looking for a place for their loved ones.

My mom moved into the Village of East Farms a little over 4 years ago and I was bracing myself for her complaining that it’s not her home and bad food but I figured in time she would settle in but I was wrong. The entire staff was so welcoming and courteous she felt at home almost immediately. They got her out of her room and introduced her to people who were new there too and who have been there awhile. And 4 plus years later the staff still treats her with dignity and respect. After that amount of time I’m still impressed how they all know her and what she likes to eat. All of the staff has been very helpful to me as needed. If anyone is looking for an assisted living facility I highly recommend The Village at East Farms.

When we are able to visit our loved one we can see the meals and they seemed to be adequate, and we do think the value is pretty fair. The care at this community is so much better then our loved ones previous community, we have been very pleased and we would definitely recommend to others.

I would tell others that if you have a deep enough checkbook send your loved one here. They all care about what they do. The Director of Care will come with tea for my loved one and allow them to choose which cup. She then sits and visits with my loved one.

We would recommend this community to others, they treat them all like individuals and really get to know each and everyone of the residents.

My mom is happy here. The communication with the staff has been good, with updates of my loved one. The staff is always willing to take my call. The community is having activities and my mom enjoys them. She is up all day participating in them.

The staff is available for questions and they are quick to respond. The communication is very good and I feel comfortable asking questions to the staff. I would recommend this community to others

As a worker in the field of dementia care in homes, hospice, and facilities, I highly recommend the Arbors of Bedford. My friends have placed their loved ones there with great satisfaction of care. Anyone with loved ones in care facilities should always be involved in the life of those in residential care - it’s best for everyone involved. Those taking complaints to the internet cause all to wonder why did people keep themselves or their loved one there if they perceived in their minds difficult issues? The Arbors is a part of Benchmark now, where accountability, excellence, and ever seeking improvements is the standard and culture.

The activities they have at the community are excellent, and we absolutely would recommend this community to others.

It is a great place. They seem to really care for my loved one. They are allowing me to get my loved to appointments. It is a bit expensive, and due to this I will be moving my loved one to a new community.

The care services that they provided were excellent, the staff members were friendly and always kept us well informed. I would recommend this community to others.

Our mother has been living at River Ridge for a year and a half and we have been very pleased with her experience. She had only been there 9 months before covid restrictions were put into place. River Ridge has done an amazing job putting safety measures in place for the residents and staff. As frustrating it is not to be able to see mom when they are in lockdown, the knowledge that they are keeping her safe outweighs the frustration. The staff is very attentive which is so appreciated. Our mothers medications have always been brought to her in a timely manner. The staff works diligently to try to make things interesting for the residents in this strange time. Mom says the food is good and varied. The building is very well kept. The rooms are very nice and the weekly cleaning is a very nice plus!(as well as laundry!!) It’s easier to reflect on pre-covid as there were many more activities available for the residents, trips to restaurants or museums, the Bistro in the lobby, daily ice cream socials and happy hour, movies etc. Hopefully this will be back sooner rather than later but in the meantime they are doing a great job and working their hardest to make River Ridge a great place to live! They are succeeding!

My mother is a current resident of River Ridge. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am extremely hard to please but I can genuinely say that I am extremely pleased with our experiences thus far at River Ridge. The staff is amazing, thoughtful and caring. My mother is gluten-free and on her move in day she was greeted with a Welcome Basket full of gluten-free treats that I know the Executive Director went out and bought herself. My mother moved in to River Ridge during Covid so it is hard to say what the activities will be like once Covid is a thing of the past, but I've got to tell you that the daily ice cream delivery to my mom's apartment is a great treat. I strongly recommend River Ridge....trust me if it's good enough for my mom (and my high standards) it will be great for your loved one!!!
