I would give our entire experience at Village Crossings a 5. The staff from top bottom is exceptional. I can't say enough positive things about each and every one of them. The facility is clean, there are activities almost all day long every day. Any needs or questions are addressed immediately by the staff. I would highly recommend this facility. Of course I wish the price wasn't what it is, but care is expensive.

The staff is very friendly and efficient.

It's clean welcoming warm and safe. Food is amazing and they bend over backwards to accommodate my Dad. Definitely would recommend it. They need more chairs or benches out front near the smoking area. Lots of the residents like to sit out there and there is only 1 bench

Staff are excellent. Room is good size but limit what you can have. Activity Director engaged with residents all day. She is excellent . Could use more activities directed for the men. Food on Memory side called Harbor is sometimes excellent and then just ok. Not always enough for residents. Need more comfortable chairs for visitors. Memory Director is excellent and very engaging. Sometimes difficult to leave have to wait for staff member to escort you out when not caring for resident. Private pay and very pricy. Plan on paying the max once you are there a couple of months. Can't say how wonderful, Professional and Caring staff are. Don't have to be told how to do their job. They really care. Not always clear who is in charge during different shifts when directors are not there. Place is so clean and so are the residents.

The staff are all super caring and friendly. They all remember you and your name, where you sit for dinner, your preferences for meals, and go out of their way helping.

5 to all -we love this place!! This was the best decision I could have made. The staff are concerned about the residents as well as their family members. I like that the facility is smaller, clean and has large open areas.

Most important: communication was excellent, transparent and timely. As caregiver I was always informed well and in advance or in the moment (a fall, for example) so that decisions could be made that were best for my brother. Collaboration was helpful and welcome. There was always a nurse there and she led the team professionally and with understanding for the situations of all parties. I can't speak highly enough of her and how she did her work. Also the other nurses, just wonderful. The way the team of aides worked had structure; I always knew who 'had' my brother on a particular day and how he was doing. The accommodation was lovely and the food was fine. If I am honest, that's more important to us, the caregivers, than to the patients with advanced dementia. They appreciate people connections more than trendy colors or biological food. The facility had a doctor there visiting patients every week and on-call always; a pharmacy connection, a hairdresser, provision for a car and accompanying aide for specialist appointments. There were activities and opportunities for making connections; the days had structure and lightness, Lots of smiles, laughter. And a lot of understanding. I recommend the facility with no reservations. The director told me: in en interview, I ask these young people WHY they want to do this work. Training is always possible, but motivation is most important. That was reflected in the atmosphere,100%.

Our family is very pleased with the Atrium. 5 for all. They are very attentive to our family member with great engagement and activities.

Definitely a 5. Because even though there were a few blips in the beginning (nothing and no one is perfect), they were handled immediately! Mom has been doing so well at Benchmark Hamden! Therese was a slight adjustment period but nowhere near what I'd expected. The pivotal moment was when she had to be hospitalized for UTI with behavioral changes and needed IV therapy. In the past, upon returning to her previous facility, she was repeatedly immediately sent back out for continued behavioral problems. This time, she slid right back in to her routine. Best way to describe it is at Benchmark, despite having severe dementia, she's happy, viewing staff as family and other residents as her friends! At a time when I was under so much stress and panicky about how to provide the best possible care I could for Mom, you came through, above and beyond! We would not be where we are today if it weren't for you!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart

What we like the most about the community is that they are proactive with individualized care plan; very professional and courteous staff ; commitment to client was apparent; thorough admission and assessment process.

Top notch. From management and activity personnel to the nursing assistance, food prep, and maintenance crews. All were Courteous, compassionate and understanding.

I don't mind giving feedback, especially to a place that is wonderful as Capital Ridge. This is the first time experience for me and my family member and One. I'll never forget in my lifetime. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience.

Super staff. Very attractive facility. No complaints from me about anything. I would recommend them to others who are searching for memory care for their loved one.

It was a 5. We all wished it could have been much much longer. [name removed] passed away one year ago today. His time at Evans Park was way too short. He blended right in. I'd get there every day and he be chatting away with other residents like it was meant to be. Sometimes I'd chucklle,, duck and go find someone to talk to myself so as not to interrupt what appeared so much fun for him. [name removed] made certain the move in was seamless and everyone, literally everyone was caring and pleasant. Sadly it was curtailed but again, [name removed] made my move out as pain free as I could possibly hope for. Bravo Evans Park. I told my wife I wouldn't hesitate for a moment if the need became present. She agreed. Other. Food was very good, housekeeping was great.

We've been very happy with The Atrium at Drum Hill so far. They have been nothing but amazing keeping mom safe and happy as well as helping us navigate whatever is thrown our way. Mom has been having more of a decline recently and has been requiring more assistance. The staff has gone above and beyond treating her with the utmost respect, dignity, and care. Of course there are always a few small things with every place to dislike but the good at Drum Hill greatly outweighs any negatives. Would definitely recommend the facility.

I would give Atrium highest marks on everything but price. Not sure your services could be offered for less but I worry about how long almost any family can afford your care for many years.

My Mom (92 years old with long term dementia, wheelchair) has spent the past year in "The Harbor", the secure Memory Care Unit at Nashua Crossings. It has been the best experience for both of us! Mom is happy, well fed, entertained with many activities, and comfortable with all of the familiar faces. It is obvious that she feels loved by all of her caregivers as well as other staff members. Lots of hugs are shared. She has a generous private bedroom with 3/4 bath and the entire building is very clean, no odors, with many friendly staff members in every area. The residents in other areas are often about and also seem happy and friendly. As the family member, I know that I can call at any time about any concern I might have about Mom- or the RN may call me if she has any questions. It is such a relief to know that my Mom is being lovingly cared for as I can not do myself. I needed to move Mom to [community removed] as they accept Medicaid and Mom ran out of money.....

This place is lovely...the folks that are working there are wonderful , their active programs create healthy alternatives and the grounds the facilities are beautifully maintained. It is so much more and still affordable. I couldn't be happier.

The aids the environment the location and the hospice staff I would rate a 5. Not as pleased with some other factors, 30 day assessment to determine continued level of care has not yet been done and it's over 60 days, family has some questions about medication and we're not aware of all prescribed medications. Family following up on these and hope to have them addressed successfully.
