Benchmark Senior Living

There are many activities. The facility is very clean. All the staff go out of their way. My dad really likes the food too.

For me the staff and nursing staff in the memory care unit is what made it such a positive experience. My mom had a couple incidents they were right on top of. They take good care of people in memory care. I wish my mother could have experienced the other section with the dining hall. The community of residents was very nice there.

Staff who know the residents and genuinely care. Good communication. Programs that engage the residents. Especially live music a few times a month. My husband sang every song. Staff has ability to calmly redirect residents. Beautiful clean facility, with courtyards for outside enjoyment. Several open comfortable living areas. Good food. Extra hydration offered at end of a group activity. Very clean facility.

Don't expect resolution to problems or questions quickly, have had to ask multiple times. This problem seems to lie with maintenance, appears understaffed. Overall we are very satisfied with Benchmark

The tour was great. The facility manager was very knowledgeable about the facility activities and staff functions provided.

[name removed] was fabulous and very thorough. She answered all our questions and then showed us the facility we were interested in for my sister in law. We are waiting to see how she progresses after being in the hospital and if she does well, this facility is on the top of our list

We met many of the staff and were very impressed by their attitudes and dedication. A far improvement over where we are now. The proximity of it to our children. Is a major bonus, I asked them to hold the two units for us.

Both staff and residents are always cheerful. The staff is super caring. My friend had a fall and was hospitalized, while he was my staff contacts stayed in touch and were very caring to both of us.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the facility is absolutely beautiful. Pricing above [removed] à la carte just doesn’t work for me.

Great care and nurses. Communication with me could be better though. Very nice modern apartment. She likes the food. I would recommend

Great experience, people were very friendly, and the residents truly loved the place. My mother left the tour feeling like this may be a place where she would like to live.

From start to finish, our tour guide was fabulous, professional, clean, and really had that human touch. Can't get much better.

All 5. I like everything about it she is in memory care and they are wonderful. Yes, I would recommend The Village at Brookfield to other families based on the experience

It was exceptional. The staff was absolutely amazing. The head staff, chef, nursing, LNA, down to housekeeping and volunteers were amazing. Staff would always come in to say hi to [name removed] and help her when she got terribly confused and the staff cried right along side of us when she passed away at benchmark. We were all surrounding her. She felt the love and compassion benchmark gave her each and every day. And I was there almost daily so I feel I had a good look at everything going on daily.

The staff has been amazing. They made it possible for us to bring her there when she was not willing. Totally scared us to have to do this. She was living alone and in dangerous situations when her home care left for the day. They took the time and patience to transition her , about 2 months before we could visit. Now she is very happy there thriving , socializing and safe

Overall - great. Activities are good. Apartment is great. Cleanliness is good (sometimes things are forgotten, i.e. laundry misplaced). Negative would've communicating between various staff doesn't always happen, i.e. new meds, changes in routine aren't handled smoothly through shift changes or communicated from Dr. to staff or back again. Also their are times that staff will ask my Mom with out including us and if my Mom is confused she'll give a wrong answer relative to her care

I was professionally and enthusiastically greeted by the receptionist. Overall the facility was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and appear to genuinely love their jobs the residents, and I connected easily with the staff I encountered. I am just starting my journey of researching facilities so I don't have a comparison of the value for cost, however, this facility is in line with my thoughts and what I do know about the cost for memory care facilities. I was impressed with the studio apartment and private bathrooms in the units, although was a little concerned with the size of the studio, and wonder what it would feel like with furniture. Overall I definitely give this facility a 5-star.

The Atrium is beautiful and [name removed] was amazing. She connected with us quickly and was very supportive and helpful.

What we like the most about the community are the nurses, the faculty and all of that work their has been great! I would recommend Benchmark at North Andover to other families based on the experience.
