Belmont Village

I had a tour at this community and I felt they did not offer anything spectacular and not worth the value. It was too expensive and the room was $6,000 a month before the care cost will be added. They were out of our budget.

I liked this community when we took our tour. The people we met were nice and it looked like a clean community. This community was just a little to far away for us.

Belmont Memphis was able to place our family member in Memory Care within two hours on an emergency basis. Two weeks later the spouse moved into Assisted Living on the same floor. We are delighted with the staff and the facility. The staff makes accommodations based on the needs of the family--not by rigid guidelines. everyone on staff knows all the residents and their nuances. We are delighted knowing that our parents are in a safe, caring facility.

I'm rating the community a 4.5 just for the simple fact that nothing is perfect although Belmont Village is pretty close to it. Mom is completely happy there and my experience with the community and the admin have been great. Mom has made lots of friends and is as busy as she wants to be with the many on site activities. Everything worked out beautifully and we are very happy with the decision to have Mom at Belmont.

We live in Virginia, 2500 miles away from our 89-year old aunt in Los Angeles. After a fall last summer, we moved her to a Board & Care facility. When it became obvious that she had totally recovered and needed more stimulation, we began to investigate other assisted living facilities. She is a California native who would never consider moving to the mid-Atlantic winters, so we only looked at facilities in the Los Angeles area. Belmont Village was a standout for several reasons--various levels of independence, a variety of activities, round-the-clock nursing staff. When we toured the Burbank facility, we were impressed by the friendly, caring attitudes of all the employees, from a maintenance engineer to the administrative staff. It took some doing, but we convinced our aunt to consider moving. She has been there three weeks now and has joined the daily exercise class and the walking club. She has gone on outings and played bingo. She has a lovely room in a beautiful facility. She is surrounded by caring people. Bottom line: we couldn't be happier with our choice. We will continue to visit every couple of months but our minds are at ease knowing that she is well cared for in every aspect.

The staff here is kind and caring and they made the transition as smooth as possible, as this was a big adjustment. The facility is clean and well maintained and the activities seem appropriate for the residents here. So far, a good experience.

My brother and I looked for almost a year for the best place for our mom. We moved her into Belmont this year and have been extremely happy with all. This community is not the largest or the flashiest but it has a warmth of love and family throughout. From the concierge to the caregivers, everyone is always smiling and are happy to be there. The rooms are appropriately sized and the food is wonderful. We were not oversold with pushy sales people. The Director called us the day after and made sure we had a great visit and offered to help with our decision. We can say that mom has a better quality of life because of the team at Belmont. The head nurse and director work as a team and are present daily in the building mentoring the staff and encouraging the residents. The managers get involved with activities like karaoke and all have a fun time. If everyone has the same experience as we have then I assure you that you will walk away happy with this community.

Belmont Village Encino is great. My mother and father got there and my mother fell and broke her hip. It was nobody's fault but she had to go to the hospital. My father has significant dementia and was left there alone since my mother went to the hospital and the staff really took good care of him there. The food was good. It met all their needs. They are now both in intensive rehab to get better and hopefully be able to come back to Belmont Village. They actually encourage my father to get out and do things at this facility. It has been a good experience.

Our experience with Belmont Village Sabre Springs has been very positive. The facility itself is very nice, and all the staff there are extremely friendly and helpful.

Belmont Village Oak Park was great facility. The only thing that I would say needs improving is when it came time for the nurses to give medication to my dad we had to hunt them down. They were not very good about that. Other than that everybody was just great there. The staff were very attentive.

Belmont Village, Sabre Springs is a delightful place for loved ones. We recently checked my 93 year old mother in an independent unit this September and in less than 6 weeks, she's engaged in new activities, road trips, and attending the well organized concerts they have every weekend. We especially like the Greek chef who comes out to chat with her in Greek. It makes her feel welcome, especially since living in San Diego is new to her after recently being widowed. That's a big deal for that tough cookie. The staff is great, especially Erik and Jack, who made sure all the features in her unit worked flawlessly. Thanks guys! Lastly, Inan, the Exec Director, is a wonderful leader. Everyone loves working for her and she's sincerely interested in the quality of care her residents get. This is the place to go if you senior elder care!

Overall our experience with Belmont Village has been a very positive one. The people here are great, the staff is attentive, caring, and they do a great job looking out for the residents. They really exceeded our expectations!

Helpful personalized care. Activities that engage residents with dementia in a loving atmosphere. All the staff treat each resident as though they are a member of their own family. I feel very comfortable leaving my parent there knowing they are safe and comfortable.

We are so grateful to have our mom at Belmont Village. She had been at another memory care center for about 4 days and was miserable, crying, angry, and just so unhappy. It became quickly very clear that it was not just a transition period, but that it not a good fit for our mom who has dementia but still very high functioning physically. When we met with Zack at Belmont Village, he showed us around and we immediately noticed everyone smiling and happy - the staff, the residents, the support care ... it was just a wildly different atmosphere from where my mom had been. We went out and got her, brought her in to show her Belmont Village, she agreed that it was a much better fit, and we were able to pull her out of one facility and bring her to Belmont Village within a 48 hour turnaround. The staff really worked hard to make this happen, and we are so grateful - my mom is so much happier at Belmont! She has activities and is settling in and transitioning well. It is such a huge weight from my sister and I to know that not only is she getting great physical and emotional care, but she's getting a great environment and new friends. Thank you to everyone at Belmont Village! We finally feel at peace with where she is living!

Overall we have had a very positive experience with Belmont Village Cardiff. The move in process was a little rocky mainly just because everything happened so fast but she is more or less settled in now and doing well. It is a nice facility and everyone there is super friendly.

The people at Belmont Village Sabre Springs did a great job. It turned out that my mother in law was not quite ready to make the move. She went in and then quickly moved out and back home. We will definitely revisit them in the future should the need arise though.

Our experience at Belmont Village has been very positive. Their staff has made the transition for my wife's 95 year old mother quite easy. Belmont Village is a very clean facility and has all of the amenities that my mother-in-law needed to make her excited about living alone again since her husband of 70 years just passed away. She has always been a very social person and we felt that living at Belmont Village would provide opportunities for her to meet new friends and indeed it has. She is already getting involved in the bridge groups and music events, she loves the food and the restaurant dining experience, and her new hair salon is right next door to her apartment! My wife and her brother feel that we truly picked the best senior living facility for their mom!

Overall I think they do a great job at Belmont Village. I'd give the staff the highest rating possible, they're very friendly, professional, and helpful. The entire place just has a very positive atmosphere, it's clean and well kept. I would highly recommend them!

Belmont Village Circle of Friends dementia program is by far the best in Austin. I say that with the experience of having to find dementia help for both of my parents, my mother's downhill slide starting 7 years after my dad's, giving me 12 years’ experience at 7 different Austin assisted living centers. Of them all, Belmont Village is by far superior on every aspect from facilities to care to food and parking. It has truly been a Godsend to our family. Mother's been there a year now and has not deteriorated but instead has improved cognitively and physically, which we had been told wasn't possible. She now initiates conversations and can sign her name again after losing these skills for a while. Unlike the places where the caregivers stay on their cell phones while assisting clients, Belmont's staff is dedicated and attentive. Their programs are outstanding. If an activity is listed on a schedule, you can count on their staff to follow through and do it with love and enthusiasm. They have daily exercise with a personal trainer, water aerobics and cool crafting projects, but most important to us are the relevant and contemporary mental exercise games that are actually fun to participate in, even for visiting family members. These range from trivia games to crafts however they are never infantilizing or contrived as they often were at Mom's prior places. Belmont Village has helped our family honor and care for mother as she deserves. They have many family holiday functions and entertainment events and consistently great food that if it were a restaurant, would be one of the best in Austin. They've deleted high fructose drinks and fatty snacks, which are the mainstay diet at most assisted living facilities. It costs are on par with the other facilities were Mom was, however pricewise, you get far more care and action here for your money than you do elsewhere. Double rooms & a roommate can help you save and rest assured their intake staff keeps their word. If they say no price increase for a year, they mean it. They also have a hospitalist doctor from a nearby hospital serving the facility who is now Mom's primary care physician. This is a medical care option that has benefited Mom's health tremendously and made a transition between a hospital stay back to Belmont as seamless as possible. As a frequent visitor, I've made friends with many of the residents who live in the independent living apartments. Most are delighted with the facility, the grounds, the food and the activity options. I wouldn't hesitate to move my parents here from any other facility ASAP as Belmont Village Westlake Hills is by far the best we have found. The only down side is they offer no skilled nursing, however they do work with other facilities when needed.

After touring 5 different facilities in the East Louisville area, I knew Belmont Village was my 1st choice. From the very beginning, my mother has received the best of care. She enjoyed the lifestyle of her independent apartment in the early years. Now that she needs more care due to Dementia, she is leading a healthy and happy life in The Neighborhood. The entire staff treats her like family, from the nurses, to the aids, to the executive director. Daily activities are well planned and creative. She has enjoyed painting and live music. The meals are excellent as well. The chef and his staff do an amazing job for the residents. Holidays are always very special, under the direction of the Activities Director. The atmosphere is always cheerful, and the decorations for the holidays always bring a smile to my mother's face. The parties often include the families, which is a joy. I could not ask for a better place for my mother. She deserves the very best, and Belmont Village is just that.
