Very impressive facility and apartment spaces. Lots of light. Very clean. Residents appeared well-groomed and different types of memory care programs are available. They were expecting me and had a full packet prepared. Space was designed for mobility-challenged individuals with wide halls and doorways, open spaces, lowered tables/desks. Activities appear to abound. Shopping is very near by with add'l opportunities for planned trips to Wal-Mart, etc.

A large facility housing circa 160 residents. New and professional. A library, work out room, more developed occupational therapy programs were some of the many amenities it offered. The staff offered to explore combining a treatment plan with blended higher cognitive function with a need for memory care.

I toured Belmont Village Geneva Road and it was extremely good. We chose another community partly because of cost, but also because they were a second floor operation - which was kind of hard. They were able to handle other hard cases, so we could have gotten her in there. It just ended up that their availability was low and I thought we would have some trouble moving her in.

Nice but had a lot of homeless near by. The location is very difficult to access by road. It's by the entrance to the Hollywood Bowl. Certain times of the day is huge traffic jams.

I would tell others that Belmont Village Green Hills has a good, clean, and safe environment for residents. Also the staff is awesome.

They are short staffed at this time so sometimes her meals are cold and she has to send them back. Also it does not seem like they are cleaning deep enough due to the lack of workers. They do make sure that my loved ones room is clean however the common areas are not so up kept. The staff have been great they are really good. My loved one loves the chair yoga and the water aerobics and she really loves these activities.

This one was a bit pricier than we were looking for. The community looks absolutely fantastic, but it was more glitzy than we preferred.

I had to find a Memory Care residence for my mom, in a hurry. Thank goodness for [name removed]. She completely understood our situation, and worked out a solution for our family. [name removed] is an absolute gem! Compassionate, kind and very knowledgeable on the challenges of caring for a loved one with Alzheimers. [name removed] (Exectutive Director) and all of the staff at Belmont, West Lake Hills go above and beyond for the residents and their families. Everyone has been so patient with my mother and now she happily participates in the many activities offered. She has made friends and her days are quite busy! I didn't think this would be possible! We couldn't be happier with the success, and difference Belmont has made with our mom. Thankyou Belmont!!

Belmont Village is the finest place to live for any senior who can afford to stay! They have outstanding food, an unbelievable staff of pals and managers that my mom calls "my team". The entertainment is outstanding, varied and always a hit. There are social activities, exercise and lovely residents, providing a delightful atmosphere and living accommodation. For a senior who has the budget, this should be your top choice!!!

My significant other has lived at Belmont for about a year now. The facility is clean, comfortable, and pleasant. I take comfort in that the staff are pleasant and attentive to her needs. I also like that Belmont is good about communicating with loved ones and other family. Dementia is difficult for both the staff and family to deal with, I think Belmont's approach is better that other Senior Care Facilities. I like that they have brain exercise classes to keep residents stimulated and engaged. You will have to see the place and make your own evaluation.

The property was well appointed. Of all the facilities I toured, Belmont Village was the most ascetically pleasing, very high end. Further, Belmont Village was the most expensive of all the memory care facilities I toured. It had the highest monthly rates and a large community deposit that was required. The memory care unit was beautiful, there was an entire section dedicated to honoring residents, part of the Greatest Generation that ever lived, who served their country during WWII and Korea. I was very moved and touched by this tribute. The facility was immaculate. There was a lot of programs and activities for all levels of care. There is a pool for the residents and their guests to use. The menu options looked very appetizing. The facility was a bit larger than what I wanted for my parent. Also the price point was beyond our fiscal capabilities.

Belmont Village Hunters Creek really is a Place for Mom - my Mom. My mother's issues with dementia accelerated rapidly in 2016 when my stepfather passed away from Alzheimer's disease. Mom became depressed, angry, mean, and intent on escaping from her memory care location in Des Moines, Iowa. Finally we were told by the Iowa facility that they could no longer care for her unless we hired a 24x7 sitter! So I knew it was time to move her, and I undertook to find a memory care facility here in Houston. I considered 15 different memory care facilities of many different price ranges. The one that stood out from all my research was Belmont Village. While I toured several different facilities, when I toured Belmont Village Hunters Creek, my positive feelings were confirmed. It is beautiful, clean, cheery, and well appointed, and very well staffed. I went back home and asked my sister to immediately drive down from Dallas to verify my decision, and she completely agreed. We moved Mom into a room the Neighborhood floor of BVHC in May, 2016. The BVHC staff was a tremendous help throughout the move. Mom settled in well, and because she's kept busy with activities appropriate to her condition (rather than sitting alone in her room as she did in her Iowa facility), she is now contented, cheerful, and no longer makes attempts to escape. The onsite staff help her with occupational therapy and maintenance therapy, which is so good for her. She has her hair and nails done at the onsite beauty salon on a regular basis. She requires help with all levels of activity, and that help is provided with love and consistency. I could not be happier with BVHC, and wish that everyone with a loved one suffering from dementia could find a place as wonderful as I have. After 18 months, I have only raves and praise for BVHC and how they care for Mom.

It was time to start finding a place for my mother-in-law to live, especially after the hurricane hit, and of all of the places that I visited, this place felt the classiest. Everything is kept up with very clean and from what I know, housekeeping comes in at least once a day and cleans up. The staff is easy to communicate with and just great. My mother-in-law likes the food and they usually have 2 options for what you can eat, so if you don’t like one option then you at least have another one. She’s a smoker, which can be hard to find a place that accepts that, but Belmont Village offers patios off the side of the apartment that she can sit out on and smoke if she wants to. They offer a full calendar of activities each month with things like exercise, lectures, bridge games, movie nights, and even field trips. It’s a beautiful place. It’s very warm and it feels contained so it’s not so spread out. She fell recently and broke her hip and we got a phone call immediately and they called an ambulance. They were very quick to act. They’re very on top of checking in on the residents if they don’t show up for a meal time as well. I would absolutely recommend them to others.

My brother's stay here at this community has worked out well for us, they community and the staff have been great in working with him, they even arranged for their shuttle to take him to and from his dentist appointment. He is waiting on his physical therapy to be arranged by his insurance company but in the meantime, the staff has encouraged him to join in the activities and when I come to visit there is a nice balcony that we can go out on to visit and he can get some fresh air and sunshine. They also make sure that he goes to the dining room for his meals if we're not there to take him and he likes the food. I would definitely recommend scheduling a tour to see this community first hand.

This community was one of our favorites. The people we met were nice and the community was clean. This community does offer a lot of amenities, however it is double the price of the community we chose.

My mother is in the memory care unit at the Belmont Village and she likes it. The staff and caregivers tend to all of her needs as well as keep the place clean and well organized. My mom really likes the staff, she says they are always very nice and kind, they don't speak down to her. She is pleased with the food, they give her fish for lunch and dinner and they make her a sweet potato for lunch and dinner. We picked the place because when we visited, we noticed the staff interacted well with the residents and they were always kind. The only thing my mom has mentioned that she doesn't like is that they take her natural supplements and stuff from her room. I understand it is for her own good, but it's upsetting to her at times.

The staff at Belmont Village Green Hills could not have been more accommodating or reassuring. They asked all my questions and made sure I met current residents to get an "insider's view". I took my mother to visit and have lunch (very good food!) and she was pleased with the environment. We were ready to move her in when we learned that she had a terminal illness and little time. Otherwise, she would be there playing bridge, making new friends, reading and not worrying about things. The staff and facilities are top-notch!
