Belmont Village

When we first came in contact with Belmont Villiate, they gave us an excellent tour. The facility was nice and the staff was very friendly. Me and my siblings unanimously agreed it was the best place for mom. Mom is very old and needs a lot of special care and attention, and she is getting it there. My only small complaint is that on one occasion they over-medicated mom (slightly). It turned out to be no big deal, but they need to be extra sure to give their residents the right doses.

They have been real helpful concerning my Mother's needs. The facility real makes my Mother feel at home.

I'm very happy with it. Three factors that I chose it for. First they had an open spot. Second, the place is clean and doesn't smell like an institution. 3. I didn't get a lot of marketing pressure. Everyone I talked to including the residents were very friendly. Finally this place is fifteen miles from my house. My mother says they always keep me busy. The only thing I don't care for is that there are only two elevators, which makes it hard if there are five or six wheelchairs. This means that there is often a line to use the elevators. The rooms are nice. They are very accommodating. I was even allowed to borrow a bed, while we were moving her in. They helped me get bedding for her. The carpets are new, with no stains. The place feels good.

This place is phenominal. Location is great, and the staff is wonderful.

I liked Belmont Village. Marie gave us a tour and answered our questions. Very open and airy facility. Looks like they will be able to meet my Dads nursing care needs. Staff has worked there awhile and all seemed very happy. I liked the Pals who worked with residents.

They are great! The staff is friendly, and the place is clean. It's a good value. The food would be about a four. The billing is a pretty sad thing, at least initially. The only other thing, is just the coordination of patient care, the communication between departments can be a little slow, everything is done manually, it's not a big issue, but can delay things a bit. I liked that they had three meals instead of just the two I saw at most places. The staff to resident ratio was really good, and I liked that they had a 24/7 nurse on staff, rather than 16/6 or so that most places had.

really liked this one and the higher advanced memory care that worked on developing better memory or abetting worsening memory problems. It was pricey for the room sizes but had 24 hour nurses. The staff were friendly and residents seemed happy.

They really have been outstanding. There’s a bit of sticker shock – but it’s reasonable and comparable to other communities. They have great activities. The staff is really good - they do everything they can to welcome newcomers.

They’re great. They’re definitely five stars over all. They’re really helpful and caring. They took good care of my mother. The community is clean and comfortable. They were a good value for the money. We were happy with them.

They’re a great place, with caring and compassionate staff. The parking was very limited – for residents only. They have nice outside areas with a good ambiance. The food was very good. We recommend it.

It’s lovely. The staff is very friendly and they seem to know – to be on top of things. I’m not there as much as my daughter is, but we’ve been there and we really like it. The food is good. The staff is friendly and they seem to meet his needs.

The staff at Belmont Village is wonderful! They are consistent and got to know us very quickly. We lost my Father shortly after my Mother moved in. They took extra care in making sure my Mom was doing OK. They all know her by name. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. We have had absolutely no problems and the care has exceeded our expectations.

Very nice facility. Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgable. I like the location as it is close to home and work. They were even able to send out a nurse the same day as my tour to evaluate my grandmother. I'm looking forward to moving her into her new home hopefully this week.

Beautiful grounds and rooms. Very clean. Friendly people. Great memory care program. very interested but concerned that mom may need care more like a nursing home. They offered to do a free evaluation on mom to see if she is a candidate.

No Medicaid.

It’s pretty expensive, I will say. They are absolutely first class. The food is very, very good. They were able to take my mom for just thirty days. Most place won’t do that or will charge you an arm and a leg for it. They charged us just normal rates for the respite care.

Thanks to a Place for Mom--they sent us very helpful information--we finally decided on Belmont Village. Rollin Smith and Pat Porter were outstanding in helping us figure out what to do. They were supportive and so understanding to all our concerns. Well on June 13, we finally decided to make the move. All we can say that this facility is super.
