Belmont Village

My mom went there and just was there for a short time under hospice care so she didn't really get to take advantage of the full value of the things they had to offer. Their activities looked good but she wasn't able to utilize them. I had a lot of interaction with the administrative staff and they were phenomenal! The nursing staff and the hands on caregivers were phenomenal; they were a 10!

The best of the best. I could really see why they cost a little more than the other places - but it feels like from the ground up it's a great fit for Mom. I loved the energy there and the amount of care available - the residents looked happy and engaged, from what I could tell...

My mother in law really liked this place, it was a close second, but chose the Gateway. It is closer to her daughter.

The residents were lovely, the structure is outstanding and the location is also perfect.

Terese Campbell provided the tour. Two rooms available, both studio layouts, 350-450 sq ft. Mom liked the activity options and really likes the property grounds, indoor layout and flexible dining.

Everything has just been fantastic. The staff is very nice and helpful. My loved one really likes it there and has adjusted very well. Everything is just going very good. We are very pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone.

The facility was really nice, and they had lots of creature comforts, things that made it a nice building. It's the Ritz-Carlton of care facilities. I went to several places and I haven't had a bad experience with any staff, so I'd call that normal for the area. Doing real well. They're attending to all of my stepmother's needs (she's in the memory care unit, and they have all kinds of activities for them to keep them engaged as much as possible.)

We'll be checking in to Belmont Village of San Jose on August 4th. Right now we're taking out things over and moving in to our suite. It looks like they've got a lot of activities. They have yoga and chair aerobics. The food has been excellent. We chose this community for the location. It's close to everything.

Belmont Village is a great community. It has a high rise hotel setting to it and everything is accessible via elevator. It is about 7 or 8 stories and parking is underneath. It is a really nice community. We did not choose this community because it seemed like it just wasn't the right place for our mom. Our mom is more of a smaller setting type of woman; she enjoys her quiet time and is not as active as the residents here. If she was more active and was always on the go we would have chose this community. They do take residents from memory care unit and if they are active enough they will let them participate with the assisted living residents so it really provides socialization at all levels. The program they have that does this is called Circle of Friends. Overall it is a very nice community and was just a little too active for our mom.

I have toured three different senior living apartments and Belmont far exceeded my expectations. Wonderful living area and the people who work there are all positive and very caring people. I know that my loved one is in really good hands.

Everything is always very clean at Belmont Village. The staff seems to know everyone by name and greet everyone. It is expensive, but everywhere is. The on site nurse and staff check on all the residents regularly. I'm not familiar with all the activities, but they take people on outings and have an annual carnival for the residents. We picked this place because it has a Memory Care Unit, they impressed us with leading edge care.

Perfect: close, Alzheimer's-friendly, clean, comfortable, pets allowed, very helpful. Couldn't ask for more really.

High rise next to Santana Row. Very nicely furnished. Rooms set up in standard hallway orientation - like a nice hotel. Nice restaurant. Memory care cost $9.000+ per month. Nice amenities. Outside patio/balcony areas on upstairs floors.

Definitely a short list property. Room square footage is ample. Very service oriented- a lot of care is available. Property is very well maintained. There is an extra charge for medication management.

Amazing place, lots of opportunities for Mom to sit & chat or to get up and move to another place to do something! Loved the access to the garden that is so secure, too. Very impressed by the tour!

Very lively place. Good food with general seating in the dining room. Residents appear happy. Staff knows the residents by name. Smallest rooms seem small.

Almost fabulous.

5-star accommodations. Not sure if applies to all seniors but some not openly friendly. Food tremendously good. Price on higher end reflecting hotel type accommodations. Wonderful city view, however location far from freeways.

FABULOUS & EXPENSIVE !!!

This is a very nice place. Clean, no odor, saw lots of residents that were smiling and very happy. All staff know and address all residents by name. Very structured days
