The care and experience is all well for my mom. She seems happy. The apartment she has is comfortable and just the right size for her.

I liked seeing all the extra amenities this community has. I had a nice tour but after getting the details about them, I found that they are too expensive. They have a voucher program for qualified residents but there was a longer waiting list. All communities could make it more affordable for families.

Beautiful setting. Apt ideal setup. Director very interactive with tenants. Residents very friendly. Common areas spacious. Calendar of monthly events exciting. My family is very pleased with American House.

Everything is working out pretty well for my mother here at this community. I really like the staff. They have bent over back wards for us. They are very helpful, and kind. It is a very well-kept community. They do a very good job with the keeping everything neat,and tidy. I know she is being provided with great care overall. This is a wonderful community, and I would highly recommend it.

Budget was one of the factors when considering where I would move too. This wasn't the community for me, but it is a nice place.

My in laws seem to like it here. They are starting to get involved with some of the activities. They even had a Veterans day party and gave out hats. The food seems to be good and they enjoy it. We really like this community and it suits there needs.

I would say she is happy. I don't know that anything is ever perfect, but this is good. I think the activity level is good. They have the bus that takes them to the store and such, and she has done that a couple of times. People have been generally welcoming and friendly. The leasing agent could have done a slightly better job of explaining all the additional fees. She loves the houskeeping aspect. She was a little disappointed that some of the things she has seen other places aren't offered or done the same here, but it would be nice if they could take a small carton of milk or a piece of fruit with them back to their room, and while they do have a general store there where everything is a dollar, it would still be nice if they could just take a piece of fruit.

My mother is doing very well here at this community. It is a nice looking community. They do a very good job with keeping everything nice and clean. I love the staff, they are very helpful and kind. There are nice activities and good food offered. I know she is in good hands here. I would recommend it.

They did a good job. We were happy with them. In the last couple weeks our loved one was there, we had hospice come in and they worked really well with the hospice team.

The facility was clean and well kept, and the staff seemed friendly and caring. However, I don't think it would have been the best fit for Mom. It's a large community, and it would have been difficult for my loved one to get around.

There are quite a bit of residents here. The staff seems to be very nice and helpful. There were a few minor issues in the beginning, but nothing that wasn't taken care of. This seems to be a nice place overall.

They do a great job at American House Lakeside. The people here are all very friendly, the food is good, and they take great care of the people who live here. I toured quite a few options in the area and when I walked into this place I knew it was the one, it just has a really friendly welcoming atmosphere. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking in the area!

Facility is very clean. Staff is very friendly and genuine. My dad has been there for two months now. He participates in many of the activities and is satisfied with his meals. The medical team helps him with his medication and hygiene. Last week there was a family fish fry out on the patio with entertainment which was well attended and fun.

Overall I think they do a good job at American House Lakeside! The place has an open, airy, bright feel to it, and it is always very clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and they really do a great job making new residents feel at home! We've had a few issues regarding communication and keeping track of my loved ones, but nothing too major.

Looks like this will be the best option for my Mom - very nice facility, and very friendly and accommodating staff. Apt is small but adequate, and funding options are excellent...

My loved one lived here for a time, and overall it was a nice place. However, the community is on the larger side, and the residents don't get the degree of one on one attention and care that my loved one ended up needing. The staff here are friendly, and the community is well kept and clean.

We toured American House when we were looking into care options for a loved one. I thought this looked like a very nice place! If I was in the situation personally I would move here myself. The facility was clean and well kept, and the staff all seemed very friendly. They offered a few different levels of care, and the residents all appeared well cared for!

We are extremely happy our mother has adjusted to assisted living and that has everything to do with the awesome staff as well as friendly residents! The only reason we did not rate as great was recently the food has not been up to par? Not sure if different staff in kitchen or different product but food is an important part of the day! We can all agree on this, mom says all residents are grumbling daily on the dissatisfaction of meals. This is not only about the food itself but results in a negative space. Hopefully is can be looked into and fixed? We do appreciate every other aspect and food was really good up until a month or so ago, so we know it can happen. Thanks
