The leader ship of Baldwin house have been wonderful to work with. Their communication is excellent. When my mother encountered an illness, the staff engaged appropriately, assessed her condition, and got her to the emergency room quickly. It is a comfort to know that they can be the eyes and ears for the family When needed. The facility smells clean, and that is not true of others that we visited. One thing that could be improved is adjusting food choices to individual resident needs. A great deal of the food has a significant salt content and that is not good for many elders. It is just an opportunity for improvement.

Everyone is friendly. In our case, housekeeping is done monthly, cannot honestly comment on that. Communication with family is very good. Move in was flawless. Improvements, well not directly related to the home, but the help/medical staff. Have a pendant and was used in the first few days, and what I heard was that they showed no compassion. Not something the family wants to hear, we chose this community because of their care level, yet (again not the home's responsibility since it is an outside company providing the assistance). I would highly recommend this complex, with a cautionary note for the outside company providing the care. Time will tell if we will be regretting the move.

The staff at Baldwin House Lakeside Senior Living are very helpful and friendly. [Name removed], at the front desk, is always available during the day Monday through Friday. The housekeeping is good. My loved one has been very disappointed in the meals. For example, by the time he gets his eggs at breakfast, they are almost always cold. Also, I understand that bacon and eggs are not an option to get together. He told me one day he can get eggs and toast and another day bacon and toast. I believe there is only one person in the kitchen. It makes it terribly hard for that person to keep up with the demand of the residents for food service. Also, my loved one does not like a lot of the meals. Therefore, starting this month, we opted out of the full meal service and I will be taking him shopping every Friday to get foods for the week. The other disappointment was the activities. The activities sign states that there is Euchre several times a week. That is my loved one's favorite card game. He was looking forward to meeting other people and playing Euchre. However, there is no Euchre at all there. They do play Bingo, but he is not interested in Bingo. Overall, I believe that my loved one quite happy there. The room and the area is very nice. At this time, he goes to the Clinton Township Senior Center to play cards.

They provide housekeeping and activities. My husband and I have found the staff to be pleasant, and responsive when needed. Of course, I can't speak totally for my loved one who lives there. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

I visited Baldwin House Brownstown looking for a care place for my mother. The grounds are wonderfully kept, very beautiful , great sized rooms and great lighting. Smelled very clean, staff and director were very courteous and friendly with all we interacted with. Will be on our list.

We were looking for a place that would fit both of my parents needs and they seemed to be able to do that here. My dad needed more independence and my mom needed a little more care so it worked out great. The apartment size seems to be about average compared to other places that we looked at around the area. The staff have always been super friendly. I would recommend Baldwin House to others looking.

Our virtual tour at Lakeside Senior Living was good. Location was the biggest factor for us, so we chose a place that was closer to where we live.

I've had a very enjoyable experience here. Everybody is very friendly. The staff seem to be good at their jobs. The food is pretty good, but I don't like everything they serve. The activities are good. There's always something they're doing to create interest and stave off boredom. They have a gym / exercise room here that's very nice. It has all the different machines you need to keep up your exercise and lose weight.

I would recommend this community to others. The community itself is very comforting, and they all try to help each other. It feels like a big family atmosphere. I don't regret moving here. If I have ever needed something done, it gets done.

there is a lot of older residence here, and there are a lot in wheelchairs and/or walkers. The rooms are comparable to other facilities, the food is good and I think they offer a good variety. I would recommend this facility to others.

I"m happy that I was able to bring my dog here to live with me. Ive forged a lot of friendhips here. I love the bistro we hang out and watch tv in there together, and play games, and gossip.

They were very helpful with information and identifying needs as we searched for a place for my mother. We have moved mom in and things are going well.

My mom has had a slow start here as she has been ill but is on the mend and is starting to show some interest in some of the things going on for the residents here. She likes her apt and the staff have been very help. I know that I can call them if I can't reach my mom by phone and they will go check on her and they do have a medical staff on call. The community is very nice, there are a lot of amenities for the residents to choose from and there could be some extra costs for certain services but those are explained to you. I feel my mom is safe here and doing better.

My sister wasn't as impressed about this community as other ones we had previously toured.She said it didn't give her that warm and fuzzy feeling when she walked in the community. The staff was very kind and friendly and gave us quite a bit of information. The community was clean and well kept. There didn't seem to be a lot of residents around so it appeared to be not a very active community with things to do

We had a good tour of this community, everything went overall. The community looked nice from what I saw, everything was very nice, and clean. The staff I met was kind, and helpful. They were informative, and my questions were answered. The experience was a good one.

My love one will be making the move to this community pretty soon. I will be comfortable with her move to this facility because it is a nice place. The staff is kind, and friendly. The community looks nice, they do a good job with the cleanliness around the community. They offer a tax credit, and that is convenient for us.
