My mom states the food is not that good. I know they have lost kitchen help but feel like the quality of food could be a little better since they are paying over [removed] a month. They have a beautiful dining room now so I feel as if they could step up their game with the food quality.

What we like the most about AVIVA River Bend is the positive environment. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families If they had the money to afford it!

I wish my mom was still there. After all the looking, I have to say that for the money, AVIVA Maybelle Carter was by far the best in the area.

It has been a positive experience 2. Cleanliness- very good 3.Friendliness of staff- great! Everyone we've dealt with has been great 4. He is in independent living but from what I can observe the quality of care seems very positive 5. Meals are quite good! Dining staff very accommodating He is doing well there and is mostly happy! Activities- seem good but no experience with them at the point. Cost- Value is good. Still expensive!!

I would recommend to others. I picked this community because of a current residents, that she was friends with.

They were incredibly helpful and sweet. My mom felt at home right away. Unfortunately we did need their services for long but we would highly recommend it to anyone looking. The price is great and the facilities are wonderful.

The staff are all friendly and helpful, and they're treat my mom well. Improvement wise, they only had one working elevator for months (no biggie for me, but made it very difficult for the residents), the food and dining style could use some improvement, and they could use a maintenance staff that's on call 7 days a week (my mom just got hot water back after 5 days). Overall, nice place, but all assisted living places need to be affordable for everyone-my mom is fortunate to be able to do so.

I am very happy that I chose Attiva. I don't believe any facility is perfect, but I am happy here. The food is okay - some days better than others - but it could be much improved. I really like the cooks personally. I don't think any place is perfect, but I don't want to underrate them.

I am very happy with a place for mom. We chose Aviva west Hartford and have been satisfied with them.

The staff is great overall. The problem is in the kitchen, with long wait times for meals and only mediocre food. Sometimes good, sometimes not. The problem is not with the wait staff, who are exceptional.

My loved one was briefly a resident at Aviva Woodlands and the overall experience at this facility was very good. The staff was very nice and helpful. The food was excellent. The facility was really exceptional. However, my loved one was not a candidate for Assisted Living. I would recommend Aviva Woodlands as an option to others who are looking for Assisted Living.

What our family likes the most about the Aviva Granbury community is the staff. The staff was kind to my mom and the rest of my family. They were very comforting when my mom passed. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families and in fact we do often.

I have hospital/cafeteria type for over 6 months. They have about the same thing every week. They're very nice and helpful. Apartment sizes are average. You can't have too much stuff in there.

My mother really liked it here for the time she stayed which was about 4 months. But I don't think she realized she didn't need to be in an assisted living facility from that point on. It was great for her when she got out of the hospital but not necessary for her to continue living there. All the people were super nice and went above and beyond for her. I never really saw any cleanliness issues though it did smell of urine once in awhile. The staff was generally always very nice. Some more nice than others, once in a while there would be an aid that wasn't over accommodating but generally never any negative things about anyone. Quality of care was good for my mom but I heard many stories of other people not being cared for very well. Although I didn't see any of this in my own eyes I heard it quite often from my mom that her friends were not being cared for properly there. So I can only comment on what I heard from her. My mom was definitely one of their easier residents. Overall I think my mom enjoyed the food though there was times when she complained a little bit about it. But I'll be honest she complains about the food at the new place too. So there you go. My mom loved all the activities that they had at aviva. I think she would have been happy just doing anything. She just likes to keep busy and socialize. So she always enjoyed the activities they did. I think the value you get from staying there is worth the money. I priced out so many other places that seem to be comparable to Aviva and cost so much more. Now obviously we didn't get a chance to stay at any of those other places so I can only compare dollar value by place. It's definitely one of the cheaper places in town.

My aunt would say that it has been a positive experience, allaying her fears. My aunt especially liked the welcoming feeling by the staff and a few residents. Also, the fact that AVIVA offers various levels of care was appealing. Additionally, the architecture/structure of the building, the food and other services offered were pluses.

Overall, it's been a very good experience. I thought my mother would appreciate the renovation and newer feel. I would recommend to others.

Overall we are pleased with everything at AVIVA Maybelle Carter community. Mom seems to really like it. In terms of the overall value, yes we would recommend this community to other families. It is very hard to find places in that are affordable to many

The staff greetings were very pleasant at Aviva Valparaiso. The admissions and finances were also pleasant and helpful. Most of the staff in the Memory Center were always helpful, not enough of them. Housekeeping needed a little more effort, but again not enough of them. Meals were usually warm at best and sometimes cold. I would be hard pressed in recommending Aviva but that would be mostly for the cost, kinda of not getting what you're paying for. I know almost all the facilities like Aviva charge the similar amount, tough for us on fixed incomes. I will end by saying that my wife was treated well and was comfortable.

Great place for the price. Make sure you can be actively involved. Kind and compassionate staff. Welcoming and honest. Very nice but I'd love to see the housekeeping be better in dad's room. dad wishes there was more variety of food options.

My family and loved one have had a good experience with the community. The staff are good at keeping the community clean. Everyone seems friendly that we have dealt with. We would recommend you take in all the beautiful architecture of the building, and ask the staff to explain the history of the building.
