There were some improvements that could have been made during our time here.

So far we have had a wonderful experience at The Landing of Canton. My loved one is in the memory care unit and the staff have been super helpful to us. She always looks nice whenever we go to visit her and she is always clean and put together. We visit every week. She really is doing well here and we are happy with the choice that we made. Our family would definitely recommend The Landing to others looking.

The community has friendly staff, people willing to work with you to establish the correct level of care for your loved one, and beautiful grounds. The communication with the staff is good, and they provide a direct line to communicate with the head nurse. They will make sure to send photos of my loved one participating in events to me. The medication management is one of the care types offered by the community.

There needs to be an advocate for the client living there to make sure that medications are administered in a timely manner when getting orders for new meds started. But the building is very user friendly and easy for your loved one to move around in. And I appreciate the overall friendliness of the staff and their willingness to do whatever was needed. We would choose them again.

My loved ones needs were greater than they were able to handle and they did not have enough staff for her care. But for those who do not have as many needs and are more mobile, I think it would be a great place and they really did do a lot. I would recommend the facility to others.

It is a very gracious place to live. They are not on always on top of things. They need someone close by to stay on top of them to advocate on my loved ones behalf. There is lots of stuff to do, the dining room is beautiful. It is at the top of a very steep hill. It is scary during bad weather. They have so many common spaces, it is very surprising compared to other places I have visited. The spaces are all so beautiful.

My mom and I both liked The Landing of Canton overall. Our biggest concern was that the residents lived on the 2nd floor and had to take an elevator down to 1st floor for the dining room, etc. And my mom felt like she would have gotten lost. But the people there were very nice, and the facility was very clean.

My loved on was her and then the community found that they did not have enough staff to care for my loved one. This was a very nice area and they say they are memory care but they are really more assisted living.

I think it is a good facility, it is very nice and clean but I feel like the staff need to be more attentive to the residents especially in memory care. I would just tell others to make sure if you put your loved one into a facility, you need to be an advocate and be there for them.

We do understanding the staffing shortage right now but sometimes our phone calls will go unanswered and the response time is pretty slow. It is not effecting our loved ones care and every time we do go to visit we are still happy with our decision.

We chose Maybelle Carter because of the location as well as the value for the money. I also really like the director [name removed]. The apartment sizes are good, the bathroom is perfectly adequate. Sometimes the food is hit or miss from what I have heard. I like the layout of the facility, they have a nice backyard area with a garden and a covered porch where you can sit outside. They do have a lot to offer for the residents. I would recommend to others looking.

It really is a good facility, we are happy with our choice. I think that they could do better with the activities and they could have more outings for the seniors to go on. Overall, I would recommend to others looking.

We have not been with this community too long, but so far things look good. I would recommend this community to others based on our experience so far.

We chose The Glendale because the staff is extremely friendly and the location was close. She has a shared room which makes the price cheaper and it is suitable for two people. It has a nice layout and my sister enjoys the person comes in to play music for residents. I would recommend to others who are looking.

We virtually toured this community and the tour was fine. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, but there were a few things we didn't like. They had no TVs in the residence rooms and you had to use the furniture provided.

I think the community handles dementia residence

Our experience has been that the staff members have been responsive and kind. The admissions process was difficult for us, and they really worked hard to help us move through that. We feel extremely grateful that our loved one is here, safe and healthy. I would recommend to others looking.

I would recommend The Woodlands for other families for their loved ones. There was some frustration over the furniture that was bought for my loved one. Then the community told me that they couldn't use that bed. So I had to provide another bed.

They really try to take care of their residence, they seem to really care about the residence and socialize with them also. The room sizes were a decent size and the food was good. I would recommend this facility to others.

I really liked the Atria at Hamilton Heights. Like many similar facilities some apartments are small, which is a change for many. This facility has a selection of unique apartments, and the bathrooms are very accessible. The food is good. Currently it is very difficult to see how residents enjoy activities due to covid. We did inquire about the possibilities for trips into the community. My parents really liked the concept of being able to get out to restaurants and other activities once this ends. This director really worked with me to ensure this was the most appropriate choice for my father's needs. Setting up initial care plans and knowing just what to bring is challenging. Atria assissted living allows an affordable option for my parents to be in an accessible apartment, continue to be part of the greater community, and still have staff to assist my dad with activities of daily living. He loves maintaining as much independence as he can. He can now relax and enjoy life without worrying about maintaining his home or helping his wife with the heavy housework he can no longer do. Thanks so much to the director and nursing staff for evaluating my dad honestly to ensure his physical needs would be met. I appreciate the extra time and concern they took to ensure he will get appropriate care.
