We looked into this community for a loved one, and we were very impressed by The Glendale! Unfortunately our loved one was never able to move in, but they are definitely worth a look if your family is looking into care options in the area. The staff were all very nice and easy to work with, and always got right back to us with answers to any questions we had.

We had arranged for our mom to move to The Glendale once she was released from rehab. Unfortunately, after being assessed by The Glendale, our mom had more medical issues and they were not able to take her because she now needs more care than when first assessed (she is now a two-person assist). The people at The Glendale were so kind and understanding. We were very impressed with both the people and the facility. Also, the mother-in-law of a close friend has since moved into The Glendale and she continues to be VERY pleased there.

Their Memory care was the best place for my Mom. She has gained back some of the weight back with the delicious food. The staff is great!

We really liked this place, & found it to be our favorite of all we've seen so far. The location is great, 10 mins. From my office & in a beautiful neighborhood in W. Hartford. We met with Siobhan, & she could not have been nicer or more helpful. She spent a lot of time with us, gave us a full tour & answered all our questions honestly & thoughtfully. This is the first place we've seen that might be affordable for my Mom, & is definitely a viable option. We are very happy we went to see it.

We have been very happy with the friendly helpful staff at The Landing. Everyone has gone above expectations to welcome my aunt and help with her transition to assisted living.

They were amazing! It was awesome, and really great pricing too! It's beautiful, and they have a garden the residents can work in and they will even use the vegetables in the cooking. They have a nice pond with ducks. They didn't have the level of care that we knew we would eventually need. They still call and check in on her and see how she is doing even though it won't work out for her. They care about the people, not just the money.

We've been very pleased with the service here so far, this place just seems like a great match for what my loved one needs. She was in a community before we really liked, but she started to need a bit more care than they were able to provide. Rittenhouse provides the same friendly feel as her previous home, combined with the care she needs now. The way their pricing structure works for their shared suite apartments also means that her cost of living didn't increase much. One thing they do particularly well here are the activities. There is a lot of participation from the residents, due in part to the activity staff being very involved in encouraging participation. They'll let every resident know personally about the activities going on, and if it is their first time attending the activity the employee will accompany them to make it easier to get involved. The food service here is also excellent! The food is delicious, presented well, and the dining staff are friendly and professional. The only issues we've had here are a few minor mixups with things like laundry scheduling.

We've very happy with how things have gone here, I'd give them 5s across the board! The staff have all been very friendly, and the care and activities they provide have been great. The facility itself is nice looking, and clean.

My father came to Maybelle Carter as a lonely sad broken man and within a month he was revived as a social happy man again. From the front of the house to the back, Maybelle is full of compassionate people that makes everyone feel like one united family. My father left his own house to come to Maybelle's to feel at home again! Thanks Maybelle!

So far we are very pleased with this location! The place looks great, and the apartments are spacious and attractive. The staff is warm and friendly, and everyone knows everyone's name. They've got a good variety of activities, and I like that they're all located on the first floor so that you're bound to run into people coming and going.

Everything was perfect, they were wonderful, the cost was well worth it. I thought the food was really good, he really enjoyed the food. We never went to anything but there were activitie everyday.

They are a very affordable community. I liked what I saw when I toured it. The staff’s interaction with the residents was great and it seemed like the residents were actually happy to be here. They are a smaller community so it really has a more home like feeling. It feels like they can provide more personal type care then the bigger communities. I would recommend this community.

Mom lived alone for five years after Dad passed away. She was becoming increasingly more isolated from people. I knew she was lonely. One of the things I worried about in Mom's leaving her beloved home and going to live in an assisted living community was what emotional connections would she experience with the residents and staff there. I am so happy to say that the staff go out of their way to hug her and tell her they love her! And it seems so heartfelt. It's a little easier for me to leave Mom after my visits and return to my home (2 hrs away) knowing she's truly loved by the staff and she loves them. And she's met a couple of residents who are her new friends. I feel blessed that her new "home" has such wonderful people!

The warm and cozy feeling that this place gave me, was just what I was looking for! The residents were all so happy and loving toward me and one another. The apartments were nice and neat. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The seem to really know their residents. I thought it was a great place!

NOT THAT I WANT THEM TO RAISE THIER PRICE BUT THEY COULD AND WOULDN'T THAT SAYS A LOT

I toured Atria HHP last week & am very impressed. The room I've seen is spacious & bright. They seem to have very dense programing with a lot of art & music. I am taking Mom & an elder friend for lunch and an art activity tomorrow an art activity tomorrow. Mom has had a positive response to my story about it. TOOK MOM TO LUNCH & TOUR. She was most impressed with the look of the place & the food. We talked about all the stuff to do & sat in on an art activity.

What a beautiful place! Director was terrific. The residents all seemed very happy and stay very active. The room was very spacious.
