1- mom's room is comfortable with bathroom, bedroom. Kitchen area 2- the cleanliness of the whole building 3- the meals- dining room could be larger for people with walkers and wheelchairs to get around. 4- the staff is friendly and knowledgeable The only negative comment we have was the administration of insulin.

I love Avista

Overall we have been pleased with Avista Sr Living. We were able to get into a perfect room for Mom when we needed it, with just enough time to personalize it before her admittance. Ranking not a 5 mostly due to some key transitions that has been occurring over the summer and Mom has been there about 4 months. They were just getting a new Director and lots of new things were on the radar: upgrades to outdoor spaces (much needed), hiring of new/additional staff to meet the needs so training and scheduling changes, new kitchen remodel which was handled well but resulted in different meals and more use of disposal plates etc. They have managed her health needs and re-admittance and transportation after hospital stays. Mom is a very structured person on schedules - her biggest complaint is not 100% same schedule for pills and assistance for dressing. Staffing changes were an earlier contribution, but still there are slack times that can vary morning schedules by as much as 3 hours. Overall the staff is very friendly and caring. They are sweet to help, when asked. The facility is clean and well maintained. There are plenty of variety in activities and the residence are happy and interactive.

The administrative staff is very good. There was a problem with the monthly fee. I was quoted a price according to the point system for $[fee removed] and then got a bill for $[fee removed]. I questioned the amount and was told my mother was a level 4 instead of 3 because of her needs. I was not told what the additional points were for and no advance notice that her monthly fee was increased. The additional cost was quite a shock and an additional financial burden I was not prepared for.

My mom loves the people. Doesn't love the food. Initially, it took 3 weeks to get her cable working. Also, the fridge that was supposed to be replaced prior to move-in has yet to be replaced and the freezer leaks water into the fridge, requiring weekly attention. Overall, it's been a very positive experience aside from that.

Good food. Staff is nice. Very clean. Lots of activities. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

The director, [name removed], is the reason I didn't give them a 5. She basically doesn't respond to requests for contact. She did this while we were trying to decide on a facility, and she's done it since my brother moved in. Everyone else is wonderful, and we are happy with Evergreen Village.

Wife says food is not good. She is bedbound says food is always cold when she gets it.

The staff is great and all seem to be very kind and helpful. My Mom has adjusted and is doing very well there. I would recommend to others.

This is a great place for the price. My mom complains about the food allot. She ends up spending additional money on back up food from the grocery store. Otherwise it's great.

The only down fall was that in 14 days they never asked my mom if she wanted a shower or her cloths washed. [name removed] the manger said they really slipped up but he was very sorry. Other than that it was good.

Avista is a welcoming place for both residents and families. It's clean and the staff is very responsive and knowledgeable.

Overall we had a very good experience with Avista. I don't think we could have found a better place for my mother-in-law. I would highly recommend Avista.

I wish there had been more staff to care for the residents, they said it was memory care, but my paperwork said assisted living. My mom got out of the facility 4 times. Overall the staff that were there were wonderful. Overall the assisted living is wonderful for place, just not for someone with dementia.

We chose this facility becuase they offer respite care. Label everything you bring. If things gets miss placed good luck trying to locate it. Overall they did a great job!

Spring Gardens is a beautiful place with a good staff and compassionate people. For the very short time my father was there, we were very happy, although memory care is never a place you want your family to need. [name removed] was great to work with and so was [name removed]. The memory care team that watched over my father was thoughtful, kind and respectful. Four days are not enough to form a complete and full evaluation; however, I believe that the care and respect we saw in the short term would have continued into long-term.

The facility is small and does not have enough staff to handle all the residents needs. It is fine if you are fairly independent but not if you need extra help with daily care needs.

Mark your loved ones items because the residents keep moving things around. Also the staff are super nice and you can come visit pretty much any time at all. It would be nice if the food was more fresh and had more flavor!

They are very clean and seem to be on top of things. They know all of there patience by name and where they like to spend their days. The CNA's are always on top of their medications and know which ones they are taking. My dad seems to enjoy living there
