My mother has recently moved into this community and I cant say to much other than I was not aware of how expensive everything was truly going to be. The price I had initially gotten from the staff was not the deal when I received our bill for the last month. It was almost three times the price they quoted us and I am not happy about it.

I did not tour this Brookdale because my loved ones that are firefighters in this area advised me not to. They said that when a resident falls and calls for help, the staff don't go check on them, they just call the fire department and a lot of times the residents just need help getting up. It defiantly did not sound like a place I would want to put my Mother in.

The Brookdale Cheyenne is alright for someone who doesn't need the same level of care as my loved one. I feel like they lack in communication, especially when it comes to medications. I feel like my loved one does not get the one on one attention I would like.

Rather dark lobby and dining room. Building doesn't appear to be really well maintained. Price equal to most other places we've seen. Location good - near medical center.

Great location, near doctors and hospital. Rooms were small. Liked their philosophy on senior's worth, capabilities and need for independence. Had all the necessary amenities. Staff and Bob were very nice. Facility needed some updating.

Placed as advised, by Aspen Ridge personnel. Level 3, Assisted Living. !. She has dementia. Had "her" normal behavior pattern. Able to function when multiply people around her. When in her room, she was totally non-functional; verbally abusive, not orientated to place and time. Repeated phone calls to her home number, from front desk ! 2. Didn't get meds. as prescribed. Apparently, no one on her floor was authorized to give meds. Person attending her, either wasn't told /didn't ask about meds. Called me, in the Willamette Valley. to come and stay with her to try and calm her! Resulted in a hospital stay! 3. When released from hospital, finally took her Doctor's and Family's advise - admitted to Memory Care !

They could serve healthier food to the residents. They could also have a larger staff to service during meal times. Just know that people that are there are usually older, grumpy, and can have bad days and the staff should be aware of that.

The Oaks at Lebanon staff say they are going to do certain things and they don't. Dad will tell them he isn't coming down for dinner and the staff ask if they can get him anything. He will ask for something and they never come back. Also dad has a urinal next to his bed and the staff are supposed to empty it and it never happens. They just don't seem to follow through. One thing I did appreciate is we got dad a bigger room but it is further from the amenities so he had to have a wheelchair to get around. When a closer unit became available they moved him and I appreciated that. The main staff that works there are really nice and helpful.

The staff there at Emeritus at The Plaza is really friendly and everyone is also really helpful and my mother-in-law who is staying there really likes them very well, so that is a big major plus to us.

Very nice facility and wonderful welcoming memory care unit. Are currently finishing chanel o er in ownership and doing some renovations. Memory care rooms are shared bath separate sleeping rooms style - dorm feel. They have 1 or 2 couple rooms but rare usage. Staff was open and welcoming.

My Dad has been at Sandia Springs for 3 weeks,and really likes it.He has met several residents that are friendly and welcoming.I choose it because the people who run it are so helpful,approachable and caring.

Aspen Ridge was very accommodating given the circumstances of my fathers needs. They accepted him on a very short notice. We arrived close to midnight after a very trying and long trip to their facility and the director was there to meet us and get us settled in. Making for a nice transition from his previous facility.

We pulled our loved one out of the facility, we weren't there very long. We felt that they were being over medicated. I came to visit one day and found an injury, and I had never even received a call about it. It wasn't working for us. We never really complained, we just moved.

Some younger residents $35-3600 , fridge and micro ,need to pay phone, call for appointment in morning

My mother was there for two weeks. For us, it was not so good. The licensed nurses, PTs and Social workers were great! However, The caregivers seemed more concerned with folding the table napkins than for caring for residents. The CNAs or cargivers that interacted with mom and I did not know the answers to basic questions like: When is laundry day? The answer that I got is, "I don't know." She was there for control of her heart medication but was not allowed out of bed unless a staff person was with her because they were afraid she'd fall. She lives independently at home. She hated staying in bed all day with nothing to do. No one ever helped her walk with her unless it was PT. So, for her rehab-not so good. I will find another facility next time.

Nice place more assisted living then I'd like.

I think it’s a good value for the money, but not the best value that’s out there. They’re going to through a transition with the food – so I’d give the food a three. There is enough parking. We have two dogs so the community is pet friendly which is very good for us. We don’t do much with the activities that they offer.

friendly staff... no PT...had assisted living no PT program...residents did not seem engaged or very active...

no additional levels of care needed for Hollis which start at an additional monthly charge. Doctors can examine him there and accept Medicaire. facility will be having new construction work started; 13 years old, l50 assisted living bed, 30 private apartments. 75% women. Food o.k. two story/elevator no smoking second level. must provide own furniture in semi room. laundry done lx week. Convenient location for family.
