Village Green has only been open for about 18 months; the staff has changed before my eyes and I've only been here for 2 months. overall they're on their 3rd or 4th executive director. the aides themselves are changing and they are very understaff. because of that, the residents are suffering. my loved one is incapable of doing anything on his own, and the response time to his pendant is very slow - it takes them about 30 minutes to an hour to reach him. they wouldn't know if he's ringing because he needs help to the bathroom or because he's having a heart attack and that's very concerning. their excuse for that is always, "because we are understaffed". the staff are overall nice, but because they are so overworked they can get a little rude, and I get that. I respect them and we give them praise for their work, but I'm worried about my loved one and his care. they have a brand new director who I am in constant communication with and I'm hoping he will turn this ship around. my sibling and I visit often and we'll run into other visitors who share their concern, so I know we aren't the only family who feels this way. I'm so thrilled that Village Green is so close to my home, I'm very grateful for that. I wish I could give them a better glowing review, but if I was looking for a place at this very moment I'd want to hear the honesty of someone living here.

Overall rating is a 3 because of good and staff shortages. Very efficient - remembers things - always looks lovely. She makes the folks laugh and happy. Always on time - I trust her and like her so much! She (keeps her word) hard worker.

I didn’t like the fact that there were apartments upstairs and downstairs - it made it feel more like a standard apartment complex. I just didn’t get a warm and friendly feeling when we visited. And the apartments were older.

We went by to take a look and this community was not very flashy and seemed to be older than what we wanted for our loved one. This was just not what we were looking for.

This facility is beautiful and is pretty new. They seem to have alot going on for the residents. The care is good from talking to a friend whose mother lives there. The Life Guidance care unit appeared to be understaffed and a little chaotic, but still very nice. The residents aren't engaged in activities as much as they should be for memory care, with the majority of their time being spent in front of a television in a large sitting area. This could be due to no director or activities director in this department. Atria Lafayette Hill is worth checking out!

The tour at this community was nice but we just knew that this community was not thee right fit for my loved one at the time. They gave me all of the information that I needed and answered all of my questions.

Our loved ones stay was short lived and a little chaotic. They could work to improve on their food delivery service especially during covid lockdowns. The food was always late and most of the time served cold. Also they did a poor job actually making sure the residents received their food. At times we were not confident our loved one was receiving the three meals a day. However the community was kept clean and the staff were friendly.

We had a short stay but found it to be a friendly and clean place. Overall the service was good. Just the charges were a bit expensive.

We did not like this community much. It seemed to be older and out of date. Not what we were looking for the environment for our loved one.

It's okay, and if it fits your budget I wouldn't rule it out. It's not terrible. The care is okay that my loved one is receiving. The family has an issue that my loved one is having to have medication managed by the community and there is an additional charge for this. They determine if the resident is able to manage their medication by asking questions to them about their medications. The community is refusing to redo the test of medication management for our loved one. The family is also disappointed that the community refuses to allow our loved one to redo this test. The staff are fine to work with. They are good about following up with the family's questions and concerns. Shopping, exercise, music, and more are some of the activities available for the residents to take advantage of. There is transportation for the residents to use for doctor's appointments.

If your loved one is not needing to be in memory care, it's an excellent place to be. It is very spacious, very open and lots of activities going on. It's a good place for you. My loved one is in the proper environment for her dementia, in the memory care area.

On the positive side it is a safe place. On the negative side, the food was an issue but it was due to covid so it is hard to give an accurate assessment since we do not know how things were during non-covid times.

"mom, you will love it" not so! the help does its best, but all I see are wheelchairs, walkers, and canes. building needs repairs. should be a rehab hospital. I have volunteered my adult life, but not like this. meals and activities interchangeable.

When I walked into Atria Park, I felt like I was walking in to the Ritz Carleton. It was so fancy and just too much for me. I was looking for something more homey and cozy feeling. They had tons of amenities provided but it was all stuff that not a lot of people here can utilize. It was also more expensive.

This was a bad experience for me and my loved ones. When we moved they said oh look the hillbilly's are moving out and it was just not good. We had a few issues but nothing bad. Saying something like this to a paying customer is not okay and took away all of the good feeling me and my family had in regards to the community. No one should have to hear something like this after spending so much at a community.

This was our least favorite community, did not like the way that they marketed the community. This community is not for people who really needed assistance and more for people who are independent living. The tour wasn't very good and just had a weird vibe.

My mom is diabetic and they do not have a lot of food that she is able to eat, I think they should provide things like sugar free deserts. She said some of the food is in bigger pieces so it is difficult to eat. That has been one of the main disappointments for her is the food. Other than that is a very nice facility.

We had a nice tour with Atria. The facility itself is dated and needs some updating. The apartments were cramped and had cottage cheese ceilings.
