The food is really pretty poor. I hear the continental breakfast and lunch is a joke and being an insomniac, I just never went. Dinner is boring at best and small portions. I'm comparing it to the food at my previous facility, which hand a much larger menu with full breakfast and lunches and dinner. Here even the potatoes are garlic flavored. It really needs improvement. People here said it has gone downhill since COVID. The staff is the best thing in terms of friendliness, but not to good in follow through. Housekeeping is iffy. The place also needs updating and maintenance, like room heating and A/c are old. In terms of if it's a good value for the price- it's better than some but still very pricey.

Atria Park was very large. Very hectic. Felt less homey and more hospital like. Parking was difficult. I was given a space in their small lot, but was warned that the police were very aggressive in giving tickets to street parking. They did give me a homemade apple crumb pie!

They drastically raised my loved one's rent after being there for only four months, around a $[removed] increase! Instead of having enough money for around 6 years, he's now down to 2.5. I will probably have to find a new place for him soon that's less expensive, but I don't know if I can. I would just say make them put in writing that rent won't be raised for 12 months and then only a reasonable percentage. If they can make that happen, then I would recommend them.

The independent living is nice. The assisted living feels lonely. We had some issues with medications being given incorrectly. But it's clean, and the women at the front desk are very nice.

The staff is very friendly. The meals are not varied enough, salads and fruits are not fresh and portions are too small. The activities are limited and very basic. Food and activities were a very big selling point and proved to be not as advertised. They need more staff and more attention to detail.

I toured this community and it was ok. It just wasn't the best fit for my loved one.

I think these questions are absurd. I am disappointed in the communication, sometimes no one answers the phone. The medical care is ridiculous. I would tell others to know what you need to know and get all of your questions prepared beforehand, because they are not going to tell you everything.

Before you get into it make sure to ask a lot of questions, do your research, and talk to other families before placing your family member here. The daily staff is very friendly. Admin is a different story. We're having some issues with the care - mainly the fact that they don't check on certain things that I think should be standard. The food is horrible other than breakfast, but they're working on it. The dining area is very nice. They have a lot of activities. Transportation is good. The aides and maintenance staff are good - they've been very helpful.

The staff is amazing. They are very helpful. They are always there when I need them. If you ask [name removed], she is not as happy but I feel it's her sickness that makes her cynical.

They could improve on the food options, and add fresh veggies. They do seem to get the residents active, with the activites, and try to interact with the residetns.

Great location in central Massachusetts and a very clean and updated building. Staff can be a bit distant at times, and perhaps not the most qualified depending on your family member's situation. Food options are somewhat limited, especially for Gluten Free and/or Vegetarians. Due to some of those latter reasons, it's quite expensive as you'd expect higher standards in staffing and meals.

To be quite honest this was not my 1st choice. They offered the respite stay we originally needed. It might have been my 2nd or 3rd choice otherwise. The care staff is a definite positive. Medical techs, activity managers, and housekeeping are all friendly and caring. Management does not respond to text messages or calls, I'd rate them at a 2. Communication could use improvement. I might add that both the Director of Sales and Culinary recently left. There was also a recent rate increase, which is why I rated Value for Cost at a 2.

Many things have already been taken away that my loved one really liked when moving in. All decorations outside resident doors were taken down. They can only have a wreath now. They run out of meal options often and are having sandwiches instead of full meals as promised. They've only had 1 bus trip to a casino. Nothing else has been done. This is extremely disappointing. Staffing has been extremely low and short staffed in the kitchen. My loved one has also received a notice from Atria asking for contributions for the staff for Christmas bonus. Other residents have told my loved one to give $500-1,000. This seems astronomical. Shouldn't Atria be paying their staff? My loved one was told Atria Hometown received $40k last year. In my opinion it appears Atria Hometown is an assisted living versus 55+ independent living.

My aunt thought the facility was overall just fine. She was often bothered because she felt like she had to really ask often to have help with her shower and therapy didn't happen. The facility itself was lovely, the food excellent and the staff friendly. My mother was in two different Atria facilities and I have nothing but praise for them.

I toured this community and was not impressed. It's pretty on the outside, but dark and kind of dingy on the inside. I didn't like the way they assigned seating for meals. They were also more expensive than some others.

We toured with Atria Park of Tucker and our reasoning behind not choosing this facility for our loved one was because we felt the facility itself just looked a little tired and needed some updates.

The staff is extremely friendly, but they're very short staffed. So my loved one has had to wait multiple times for over an hour to be served her meal in the dining room. When she was served her meals, they were cold. We've had issues with medication management. Things were always very cordial with the staff when we would speak with the staff, but my loved one didn't really want us to go to the staff with issues, so my hands and their hands were tied a little bit. They have a very robust activities program if your loved one chooses to participate. The facility is the best priced facility I saw in the Coachella valley for what they provide. But after experience there, I found you kind of get what you pay for.

We picked this community because, it was the closet location. It looked like a really nice place. It was beautiful, and well maintained. The staff was there to help, and bring my loved one down for meals, They got what they needed.

Atria Carrollton was a very nice facility, but it was much more expensive than others I saw. It felt very corporate to me, we were looking for some place that was more homey. I got a great tour of the assisted living and memory care. The rooms in memory care were big, but the residents were all just roaming around by themselves and I did not really see any staff engaging with the residents. It was just not what we were looking for.
