My 84 year old friend has improved in so many ways since living in Atria. She is happier than she’s been in a very long time The staff are super friendly, courteous & well trained. The activities are geared for all levels.

This has been a rewarding move for my Mother-in-Law, she is comfortable in her roomy one bedroom apartment. There are many activities, she is close to shopping and doctors.

Although the facility is lovely and friendly, we were never told it was kosher. This seems like a big consideration to have overlooked when touring and signing on, especially for a non Jewish person. Also the food situation is bad. A new chef is in the works, but not so good right now

This is the answer for my M-I-L. She had a stroke & needs help with personal care. She can no longer drive nor shop/cook for herself. Prior to moving to Atria- she had a 24/7 aide @ her apartment. But she was missing the socializing she had pre-stroke. There are loads of activities to choose from on & off-site. There are several choices at every meal & the kitchen is open 7am to 7pm! Dinnertime- linen table cloths are on every table. She does use the house doctor, so she does not need to go off camps for care. She has received P.T. while there and is now mastering the use of a walker & only uses the wheelchair if she is tired or going a long distance. She NEVER thought this choice would work for her . After living there for 4 months- she is stronger & more independent than we ever thought she could be. My husband is an only child- and he now has peace of mind knowing she is living in a safe, well thought out community.

The people at Atria Grapevine are friendly and helpful. They are kind and caring. Recently there has been a large turnover in personnel in the memory care wing. They are starting to paint and make small updates that seem cheerful and help brighten up the environment.

We toured at Atria Draper and thought that the community was very good. The staff seemed friendly and they seemed to have a full schedule of activities going on. However, we thought that the community may have been too big for her.

I’m trying to understand how Atria can justify a 7% rate increase for 2018 (24% over the last 4 years), especially after the 7.5% increase for 2017. I would think they would have left the price the same, or even dropped it, after the problems they’ve had this year - in January, most of the waitstaff left causing problems in the dining room and Bistro which took several months to deal with; and, the lack of a Director for a few months. While this is a nice facility, it is in no way luxurious as stated on the Atria website These increases are especially disturbing since Social Security increased only 4.3% over the same period (most of which was taken up by MediCare), and the Consumer Price Index has increased only 5.4% between 2014 and 2017. Are all Atria properties getting such increases or is it just Davis?

This community was nice however the fact that my uncle primary language he speaks is Spanish sometimes he will talk all in English but he prefers Spanish and the fact that wasn't a language spoken by the staff that may have been an issue. The staff was nice and very welcoming. The community was very clean and well maintained great grounds.

This is a nice looking community. The people we met were friendly. This community offers transportation and has some nice activities. We were looking for an independent only community.

This community was very nice it has been recently been renovated in the last couple of years so everything is nice and clean and well maintained. The community is in a nice residential area with a golf course nearby. The staff was very informative and friendly when we were there.

My dear friend has recently made the move into this community and I have to say things are just going okay so far for him. He seems to have adapted well and is making friends with the other residents. I just am not happy with the staff at the front desk and the fact that they can never return my phone calls as promised.

I have no complaints of the tour I had taken at this community. I ended up not choosing this place for personal reasons and thought the staff selection was just not my favorite.

I have no complaints of my tour that I had taken of this community for my loved one. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions I had for them in detail. I thought they had a great floor plan with lots of great information to provide on everything they had to offer. It was just not the right location for us in the end decision.

The care is going well for my dad while living here. He likes the food and he is doing okay with everything. We like all of what they provide like good activities, the apartment, and the way the community is set up.

This community seemed a little pricier than what we were looking for. This community did not seem very active when we visited. This community allows pets and seems to offer some nice amenities.

I have no complaints of how things had went during my tour of this community. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions I had for them in detail. They had a great activity program available as well as menu for the residents to enjoy. It was just not the right location in the end decision but I would recommend it to anyone.

My Mom recently made the move into this community and so far things are going well. The adjustment period was a little difficult but is settling in. We have recently hired a private aide and they have been wonderful to work with. We are not paying the Atria's fee for personal services since they aide is helping my mom. My mom has mentioned that the food could use some improvements in the quality of meals they provide. Mom enjoys playing bingo and sitting in the outside patio area.

My mother has recently made the move into this community and so far I have no complaints of how things are going for her. The staff have been very kind to her needs and I am comfortable with the quality of care they provide her. She has been enjoying participating in some of the different activities they have as well as the dinning experience with the other residents. Overall things are going well and I would recommend it to anyone.

I toured this community for a tour for my mom's care. We did not like the atmosphere at the time of the tour. The community seems to be nice and the menu looked appealing. The activities would have been offered to my mom. This community has a lot of nice things to offer. We did see small improvements that could be made with carpeting. We would suggest families tour the community for the care needed.

We are still in the probation period, but our mom is not getting the care and attention we were led to believe she would receive when we signed her up.
